Chapter 58: Chapter 51
In the quiet back corner of a dimly lit diner, Alexander leaned back in his seat, watching Simmons with a piercing gaze. The older man fidgeted, tapping his fingers against the table, eyes narrowing in suspicion.
"What did you call me here for, kid?" Simmons asked, his voice barely above a whisper. His brow was furrowed, a mixture of curiosity and unease flickering in his expression.
Alexander's face was calm, confident. "I want to work with you to protect Earth," he said firmly, leaning in closer. "You know as well as I do—the Decepticons aren't really gone. They're just in hiding. Sooner or later, they'll be back, and maybe even more of them will arrive. Earth will be a battleground, and we need people who know what's coming to be ready."
Simmons bit his lip, his shoulders slumping as he considered Alexander's words. As much as he tried to deny it, he knew the kid was right. With a resigned sigh, he nodded. "Okay, yeah, I understand. But look, Sector Seven's shutting down soon. I don't have the resources to help you with anything. I'm basically out of the game, kid."
A sly grin crept across Alexander's face. "Leave that part to me. Secretary Keller believes in what I'm saying. I'll make sure you're outfitted with the latest tech. But in return, I need every scrap of raw data you have stored in Sector Seven. Everything on alien sightings, research, weaponry—anything that could give us an edge."
Simmons raised an eyebrow, now fully invested. He missed the thrill, the purpose, the mission. If Alexander could give him the tools to get back into the fight, it was worth it. He extended his hand, shaking on the deal. "Alright, kid. It's a deal. Just promise me you know what you're getting into."
Alexander's gaze hardened. "Trust me. I do."
Alexander's fingers flew across the keyboard, a focused glint in his eyes as he navigated past firewalls and encryption layers with practiced ease. Lines of code scrolled by, the reflection illuminating his face in the dim light of his room. He paused only briefly, verifying the IPs and security protocols, before initiating the final bypass.
A grainy, live feed flickered onto the screen—a video capturing a dark expanse of ocean. From the shadowed deck of a naval vessel, massive cranes creaked, maneuvering a hulking, motionless figure into view. There it was: the unmistakable gleam of cold metal and ominous red eyes dulled to black. Megatron's imposing body, battered and lifeless, hovered over the waves before being dropped unceremoniously into the depths.
Alexander's lips curled into a sly smile. "So this is where they buried you."
Alexander knew he wasn't able to destroy Megatron's body mainly because of Optimus not wanting to desecrate his former brother's body. While he was able to destroy all the other Decepticons bodies.
As Alexander tapped through the files on his laptop, he heard the soft creak of the door and turned to see Mikaela stepping in.
As Alexander looked up, his eyes met Mikaela's, taking in the sight of her in a black, sheer nighty that clung delicately to her form, leaving little to the imagination. The soft fabric caught the light, enhancing her confident stance as she moved closer.
Mikaela smirked, enjoying the effect she was having on him, her lips curved into a smirk, her eyes gleaming with that familiar spark.
Alexander leaned back, his mouth curling into a smile as Mikaela closed the distance between them. She slid onto his lap, her hands resting gently on his shoulders as she leaned in close, her voice dropping to a murmur. "You know," she whispered, her breath warm against his ear, "I'm really glad I met you."
He met her gaze, feeling the warmth of her words. "I'm glad too," he replied, his voice just as soft. He brushed a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, letting the moment linger as the connection between them deepened.
Alexander leaned in, capturing Mikaela's lips in a deep, passionate kiss. Their embrace intensified, each movement filled with longing. As their tongues met, exploring and intertwining, Alexander's hands found her waist, slowly sliding down to cup her hips. He pulled her closer, his fingers pressing into her, feeling the warmth of her body against his own.
Mikaela moaned softly into the kiss, her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him in deeper. Every touch, every kiss spoke of the closeness they'd come to share, grounding them in the intensity of the moment.
Alexander tightened his hold on Mikaela, lifting her effortlessly as her legs wrapped around him. Their lips never parted, their breaths mingling in the quiet room as he carried her to the bed. Gently laying her down, their passion only deepened, building into a closeness that felt raw and genuine.
They shared a night filled with raw and passionate sex.
