Chapter 6: One World, One Sky, One Destiny!
Zangetsu Tsukishiro POV
I stared at the small floating purple orb of chakra that I had successfully taken away from Metal while he was getting his leg treated by the healer.
"Almighty!" I intoned as the coat I wore extended into an inky cloak that covered the whole apartment before it soon had multiple eyes open up.
The sight was both mesmerizing and unnerving each eye darted in its own direction, watching, analyzing, and seeing all the truths hidden from the naked eye. They converged on the orb, dissecting it to the fullest detail.
The orb of chakra struggled writhing against my influence it was wild and unstable, a fragment of the Nue's power steeped in raw emotion and negativity but it was mine now bound to my will.
"let us see what secrets you hold," I muttered raising my hand toward the orb the eyes on the cloak seemed to respond to my intent focusing their collective gaze on the chakra fragment.
A pulse of energy rippled through the room, and the orb began to shift its shape becoming less defined, its color shifting into a dark black mixed with a hint of red, until finally it was overtaken by my spiritual power.
The energy then spoke to me not in words but in impressions, memories, and instincts. I saw flashes of its creation, the way it latched onto emotions like fear, anger, and despair, feeding and growing stronger. I saw the ritual that had birthed the Nue and the seal that made it so that it was bound to Sumire.
Then with a gesture single flick of my hand the Almighty engulfed it and absorbed the orb into myself.
I felt a surge in my reserves like I once did so long ago when I devoured Hamura's chakra and powers for myself.
The room soon returned back to normal, the eyes on the cloak closed their eyes returning back to a normal coat, and when I clenched my right hand into a fist a faint energy of both black and red engulfed it.
I inspected the spiritual energy that I had warped around my hand then without much effort I gave it the ability to cause an overwhelming amount negative emotion from then absorb it to increase its power.
In response to my command the energy reached below to the neighbor below me...a few moments later I could hear several voices shouting at each other than when the energy returned and warped itself around my hand it was twice its original size
"Fascinating," I murmured watching the energy as it danced and flickered almost alive, I clenched my fist again dispersing the energy into thin wisps that dissolved into the air.
Its effects still lingered though I could still hear faint arguments from the floor below. How easily people succumbed to their baser instincts when given just the right nudge. An amused smirk plastered itself on my face when I heard the neighbor's wife shouting for a divorce "easily succumbed indeed...hehehe," I mutter with a chuckle.
I walked at the window looking down over the village. This small fragile collection of lives so ignorant of the storm approaching they had no idea what was coming, no idea who I was.
I was their salvation.
My beloved Quincy children had waited centuries for my return. In the shadows they had prepared, enduring humiliation, persecution, and near-extinction. All for the day when I their King would rise again to lead them.
The chakra I had taken was, but a crude power compared to what I once wielded. It had its uses yes but it was nothing compared to what lay ahead. Once I reclaimed the entirety of my strength the world would tremble before me not out of fear but out of understanding.
They would see what I saw a united world, free of squabbling nations, and meaningless divisions. My right hand reached up to the moon and clasped it "one world, one sky, one destiny," I declared my voice a low resonant whisper that carried through the stillness of the room.
Then with a swish of my coat I went to my quarters it was time for my children to hear of my call.
-One Day Later-
"Summoning Jutsu," the grandson of the former Third Hokage called out which caused a gust of wind to blow out from his scroll.
Many of the students covered themselves from the incoming dirt while I remained perfectly still watching as the Sarutobi stood tall upon his toad summon.
Aburame sensei clapped his hands "leave it to Konohamaru to do a perfect summoning the reason being that he is the grandson of the Third Hokage the genius ninja who was the pride of the leaf," then with a poof the giant toad disappeared and Konohamaru landed down without much problem.
"This would be a great time to ask any questions if you have any," Aburame sensei continued I kept a stoic face, but my brows were slightly furrowed when I saw the toad...Gamamaru that old toad or rather when he was young caused the start of the drift between my brothers and me.
I have no doubts about it since his appearance was too convenient when we had started doubting what our mother had exactly been doing while we were away to do our respective tasks around the village.
When I return to my full power, I will take great pleasure in taking his life. Suddenly the loud shout of Boruto snaps me out of my thoughts "summoning jutsu!" he exclaimed holding the toad's contract I let out a slight smirk at the sight "Boruto has no idea that your supposed to first sign the contract and then attempt to do the summoning," I murmured unaware of the small glance of Sarada who had overheard me "and just how do you know that Zangetsu?" my former childhood friend of this life calls out for the first time since I had started attending the academy.
I turned my head slightly meeting her gaze with a smirk that held just enough amusement to be maddening "A good question," I said letting the words hang in the air "Perhaps I simply pay more attention than most."
Her brow furrowed "paying attention isn't enough to know about a summoning contract's details especially since we never really covered it until today," she crossed her arms clearly unwilling to let this slide.
"Maybe I read it somewhere," I replied smoothly, shrugging "it's not exactly hidden knowledge, Uchiha."
A faint flicker of irritation crossed her face and I felt a small surge of satisfaction. Even when she was a child Sarada was always one to press for answers but I had no intention of giving her one not the real one anyway.
Aburame sensei cleared his throat "Zangetsu is correct...although a bit unusual for one to know of such knowledge already it's not that all surprising since you can find most references about summoning contracts in the various scroll that we have at the academy library," he explained.
I give the girl a look that said 'see' causing her to huff and turn away "whatever," she muttered.
"Now give the scroll back you idiot class is still in session!" Konohamaru exclaimed swiping the summoning scroll back from Boruto.
-end of chapter five-
So, there we have it Zangetsu/Yhwach has finally decided to announce his return to the Quincy which I didn't really cover but I will have an interlude chapter from an OC...in fact I'll have several OC's made since I don't want to reuse the same members in the Sternritters from Bleach so I am really looking forward to that.
The Sternritters will also have a seal that won't take/seal/steal Bankai but rather Bloodlines not just Dojutsu but even Elemental Bloodlines as well.
