Campione: Strongest Godslayer!

Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Negotiating Terms of Surrender

Haru's eyes narrowed, his expression serious. Under the weight of everyone's gazes, he finally spoke.

"If all three factions submit to me, wouldn't that solve everything?"

Rias's eyes widened, her breath catching in her throat. She stared at Haru's serious expression, speechless.

Sona's face paled. She nervously adjusted her glasses, a shiver running down her spine as she looked at Haru. "Is he… declaring war?"

Vali's white armor materialized, the [Divine Dividing] shimmering behind him. He looked on with anticipation, his eyes burning with battle lust.

Azazel's black wings fluttered, his face darkening as he stared intently at Haru.

Sirzechs, his body radiating an aura of [Power of Destruction], as dark as the void, watched Haru impassively, waiting for him to continue.

Michael began to glow, holy energy swirling around her as a spear of light materialized in her hand once more.

Azazel, unfazed by the spear pointed at his head, said casually, "Are you two serious? Michael, Bael, do you really want to start a war? Don't blame me if I side with the Devils."

Sirzechs looked at Haru, uncertainty in his voice. "Are you… serious? Do you truly intend to subjugate all three factions?"

Azazel grinned, a predatory look in his eyes. "You've grown stronger, Bael, but even with the Angels on your side, you can't possibly hope to defeat a united front of Devils and Fallen Angels. The three factions are already weakened. A war now could destroy us all."

Haru snapped his fingers. The space behind him tore open, revealing the desolate landscape of the Great Summoning of Hell.

Sirzechs and Azazel's eyes widened, their expressions hardening as they saw the figures within.

Sirzechs's face turned dark, fury burning in his eyes. "What is the meaning of this?! Nearly a hundred Maou-class beings, and… more than ten Transcendents? How… how is this possible?! This force… assembled without a whisper of intelligence. Are my spies incompetent?!"

Vali stared at the figures in disbelief. Nearly a hundred radiating Maou-level power… and more than ten whose auras I can't even comprehend? Transcendents…

As a battle maniac, Vali had meticulously compiled information on every powerful being in the three factions. According to his data, excluding the Old Maou Faction, the Devils had less than ten Maou-class individuals, and only Sirzechs and Ajuka were considered Super Devil/Transcendents.

Even if all three factions combined their forces, they wouldn't have more than thirty Maou-class and six Transcendents. Where had Haru found this army of over a hundred Maou-class beings?

A wave of excitement washed over Vali. New, unknown powerhouses—a thrill coursed through him at the thought of facing such opponents.

Rias stared at the scene unfolding behind Haru, her jaw slack. As she recognized the figures within, her lips twitched. "Why… why are they all women?"

Beads of sweat trickled down Azazel's forehead, soaking his black robes, as he sensed familiar auras emanating from the Hellish realm. His voice trembled slightly. "Athena, Hecate, Hera, Artemis… No… it can't be… Angra Mainyu, Gaia… even you, who have long since passed…"

Sona, her face pale, whispered, "A union of Goddesses from various pantheons… such a monstrous alliance…"

Haru grinned, a predatory look in his eyes as he surveyed their shocked expressions. His all-nighter trip back to the Campione! world, the countless schemes he'd employed to convince the goddesses to descend as Heretic Gods—it had all been worth it.

Yes, he intended to subjugate the three factions, but he only needed their rank-and-file members, the countless low, mid, and high-ranking Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels, to carry out his plans.

As for high-end combat power… who could compare to the Earth Mothers, each possessing the serpent's immortality, standing behind him?

These were goddesses who had survived the age of the Steel Heroes, their myths enduring to the modern era. Each one held a position of power within their respective pantheons, and in the High School DxD world, they were each stronger than a typical Maou.

Athena, her youthful appearance belying her immense power, leaped from Hell onto the conference table. She glanced at Michael, who sat in Haru's lap, a flicker of displeasure in her eyes.

Then, the young goddess turned to Azazel and Sirzechs, her ethereal voice echoing through the room. "Fallen Angels, Devils… Choose. Death, or submission?"

Sirzechs's face was grim as he let out a sigh. "Better to submit and survive than be annihilated. …Though I'd heard whispers from Rias about Haru's… otherworldly origins, I never imagined it was true. The strongest king from another world… ruling the earth…"

The dark aura of Power of Destruction around him dissipated as Sirzechs slumped in his chair, his voice defeated. "The Devils… we surrender. We accept your subjugation."

Azazel, his hand pressed to his forehead, said, "I came here hoping to negotiate a peace treaty, and now I'm welcoming subjugation with open arms… Fate has a strange sense of humor."

"The Fallen Angels… we also accept subjugation. …Can we discuss the terms?"

It wasn't that Sirzechs and Azazel lacked courage. They simply understood the futility of resistance.

They were facing a force five times their combined strength. A war now would mean certain defeat, especially with Haru, a monster whose power rivaled even that of the Ouroboros Dragon, Ophis.

Surrender was the only logical option.

However, Azazel's mind raced. If subjugation was inevitable, he needed to secure the best possible terms for the Fallen Angels.

And he knew how to deal with a lecherous Devil King—use beauty as a weapon.

The Devils had Rias, and Haru seemed to have taken an interest in the young Phoenix girl as well.

And the Angels… well, with the Biblical Goddesses at Haru's side, not to mention Archangel Michael practically offering herself to him, it was only a matter of time before Gabriel, Heaven's most beautiful Angel, joined their ranks.

But the Fallen Angels… the only notable beauty in the younger generation was Baraqiel's daughter, Akeno Himejima. Azazel's face darkened. "I need to have a serious talk with Baraqiel. This father-daughter rift is becoming a problem."

Azazel forced a smile. "Let's discuss the terms here and now, while all the faction leaders are present."

Clearly, he wanted to secure their share before the other factions whispered sweet nothings into Haru's ear.

Just then, a deafening explosion rocked the academy.

BOOM!

The sky above Kuoh trembled as the magic barrier shattered.

A complex magic circle, adorned with symbols of the sun, moon, and stars, materialized in the sky.
