Cloud Academy : The Reincarnated Magician

Chapter 6: Arcanum Primary Cloud Academy

Next week, at the village entrance.

Alvin put his backpack on the floor and took a look at his Cloud Academy acceptance letter. It was an invitation letter from Arcanum Primary Cloud Academy. After making sure the registration date was today, Alvin put the letter into his backpack.

With the help of Mr Patrick, Alvin got an invitation from the nearest cloud academy, Arcanum Primary Cloud Academy.

Today was his first day of school. According to the invitation letter, he would need to register himself by today.

Instead of asking Mr Patrick to send him to the academy, Alvin actually decided to go there by himself.

They lived in the Aurora Glade Village. It was not too far from the Arcanum Primary Cloud Academy. Aurora Glade Village was just beside the Arcanum Primary Cloud Academy. Alvin would reach the academy in 1 hour by walking.

Besides him stood Mr Patrick.

"Alvin, take care of yourself. Learn and become a great cloud holder." Mr Patrick patted Alvin's back and said. Knowing Alvin for 6 years, Mr Patrick didn't worry too much about Alvin going to the academy. He knew that Alvin would be able to take care of himself.

"Sure, Mr Patrick. I will write you a letter when I settle down at school" Alvin grinned and said. He waved and bid his goodbye before leaving the village.

Mr Patrick showed a gratified smile as he watched Alvin head to the cloud academy.

...

One hour later.

Alvin stood in front of the Arcanum Primary Cloud Academy. As expected, he reached the academy in 1 hour.

Standing at the entrance, Alvin could see there were 4 buildings inside, each with 4 levels. After all, this was just a small village.

Alvin passed through the entrance and walked around the academy, familiarizing himself with the surroundings. Although it was a small academy, the teaching facilities were well-prepared. Inside the academy, there was a library, classroom, training room, and common hall.

Just as Alvin passed by the common hall, someone called out at him. "Hi, are you a new student?"

Alvin turned around and saw a lady calling him. After a short pause, Alvin nodded his head. All the while he was looking for the registration desk. It seemed like this common hall was the place for registration.

"I am a teacher Lily. The registration is inside the hall." Lily said as she grabbed Alvin's hand and brought him into the hall.

As Alvin entered the hall, he saw that there were around 20 kids inside the hall, sitting on the chair. Some of them were chit-chatting, some of them were showing off their cloud, and some of them were playing with magic elements.

Lily brought Alvin to a desk and helped him with the registration.

"Your name?"

"Alvin"

"Age?"

"6 years old"

"Cloud Level?"

"10"

Lily's eyes widened as she heard that. Although this was not the first time she met a level 10, she still felt surprised. The last time she met a level 10 cloud awaken was 3 years ago.

"Element?"

"No element"

Lily looked at Alvin and blinked a few times. After a short pause, Lily nodded her head.

"Alright Alvin, the registration is completed. You can wait here in the hall. The new student ceremony is going to start." Lily said with a warm smile.

"ok, thank you." Alvin nodded and glanced around. He noticed an empty chair and headed to the chair. He had been walking for 1 hour, he wanted to have a rest.

Sitting on the chair, Alvin was observing his surroundings. The hall was filled with the conversational sounds of the students.

Alvin could hear the students talking about their clouds. He was listening to their conversation, but not joining to talk about his own cloud. This was not because he felt bad about his elementless cloud, just that he didn't feel the need to talk about it.

"Hi, what is your cloud level? Mine is level 7." One of the boys, Charles noticed Alvin, who was listening to their conversation. He turned to Alvin and asked.

Hearing that, Alvin turned around and looked at Charles. Charles was a chubby boy with a friendly smile.

"Mine? Quite high" Alvin said.

"9?" Charles tilted his head a bit and asked, curious.

"Nope" Shaking his head, Alvin said.

"8?" Charles looked at Alvin and guessed again.

"Nope," Alvin shook his head.

Charles paused for a moment, wondering. "Just now Alvin said 'quite high', but it was not '9' or '8'. "

Charles swallowed as he thought of a possibility.

"10?" Charles exclaimed with widened eyes.

Alvin nodded his head.

Alvin didn't want to show off, but since someone asked him, he would be honest about it. After all, this was not a secret.

Another boy, James laughed as he heard their conversation.

"Cloud level 10? Don't lie. You know how rare it is to have a cloud level 10 awakening." James said.

Alvin turned his head and looked at James, giving him a gentle smile. He didn't want to explain much. It didn't matter whether James believed or not.

"So, what is your cloud level?" Alvin asked

"level 8." James raised his chin and said. Apparently, he was proud of his level. In fact, it was a high cloud awakening level. Yet, it was still not the best like Alvin's level.

"Nice" Alvin nodded with a slight smile and said.

Charles looked confuse when he was listening to their conversation. He felt like Alvin was telling the truth, he was a cloud level 10. Yet, he wasn't so sure because indeed, it was rare to have a cloud level 10 awakening.

Ring Ring Ring

A bell rang across the hall.

A black uniform walked onto the stage. The academy principal, Mr Christopher put his script on the table before talking to student.

"Alright, student. The new student incoming ceremony is going to start. Please be seated and be quiet. You are going to have an important decision for your future as a cloud holder." Mr Christopher said with a deep voice.
