DND Realms: The Rise of the Titan-Dragon Prodigy

Chapter 424: Chapter 424: The Second Titan

"Pfft!" The golden thunderbolt spear pierced through the abdomen of the Barlow Flame Demon and then exploded, enveloping it in golden lightning. There was no blood splatter, as it was all evaporated.

As the thunder dissipated, a large, transparent hole appeared in the abdomen of the Barlow Flame Demon, whose body was covered in scorch marks. Blazing flames burned on its body, the charred marks flaked off, and flesh regenerated and wriggled, healing the bloody hole.

The legendary demon's robust vitality was on display, but it was of no use; its powerful life force merely turned it into a Barlow Flame Demon-shaped punching bag.

In fact, this Barlow Flame Demon was quite helpless; it was its first encounter with a Titan. It had only heard of them before and had never seen one, so when it found that most of its standard attack methods were ineffective against Ans'or, it was somewhat at a loss.

Its malevolent aura was completely immune; its spell-like abilities such as Flame Storm and Implosion were useless, and Soul Capture and Command: Stun didn't work at all. As for melee combat, the Barlow Flame Demon was utterly suppressed by Ans'or.

Legendary Titan Ans'or had slain countless Barlow Flame Demons, but this one had never experienced combat against a Titan. Of course, few demons survive a battle with a Titan, so lacking experience was normal.

"Roar!" After being pierced by another thunderbolt spear thrown by the Titan, the Barlow Flame Demon, having tried and failed to break through the spatial ban, completely despaired and then fell into madness.

Ans'or was merely treating it as a piece of prey, amusing himself by banning the surrounding space, preventing it from using higher teleportation to escape, yet indulging it in the use of teleportation during combat. Such was his confidence.

After realizing that its spell-like attacks were mostly ineffective, the Barlow Flame Demon once again initiated a demon summoning spell, summoning a multitude of cannon fodder to buy time. Of course, it hoped to summon another of its kind and then get beaten together.

Demon summoning is filled with great uncertainty. Lower demons like Imps, Berserk Demons, and Soul Judges could be summoned with certainty, but higher demons were random; it could summon a Six-armed Serpent Demon or another Barlow Flame Demon.

It was entirely a gamble on probability and luck, and this Barlow Flame Demon's luck was clearly not very good. After three consecutive summonings, it only managed to summon Six-armed Serpent Demons, causing Ans'or to look at it somewhat strangely.

"Why has no kin responded to your summons?" Ans'or stepped over the charred corpses of demons, approaching the now fearful Barlow Flame Demon.

"How would I know?" the Barlow Flame Demon roared angrily in its mind. Just when it felt favored by the Abyss, it now felt abandoned by the will of the Abyss, sensing malice from the world.

"Roar!" After the Barlow Flame Demon initiated the fourth summoning and a portal appeared, an excited roar sounded, and scorching flames surged out as a ferocious and bulky figure charged out.

However, upon seeing Ans'or, the newly summoned Barlow Flame Demon hesitated, quickly retreated, and attempted to return to the Abyss through the summoning portal.

"Brother, stay a while, don't think about running away." The beaten Barlow Flame Demon cheerfully closed the spatial channel.

"You damned thing! You're asking for death!" Seeing the escape route closed, the newly summoned Barlow Flame Demon's face filled with rage and brutality.

"Okay!" Meanwhile, when Ans'or saw that the Barlow Flame Demon had finally summoned another of its kind, he nodded in satisfaction. "Both of you come at once. If you can injure me, I will let you return to the Abyss."

"Really?"

"Of course." Ans'or's lips curled slightly, revealing a mocking smile. It was necessary to give hope to a desperate being, to keep it spirited, even if that hope was as illusory as flowers in a mirror or the moon's reflection on water.

"Engage him in melee; keep your distance, using spells is useless." The Barlow Flame Demon imparted the most effective attack strategy it had figured out after taking such a long beating.

As soon as it finished speaking, both Barlow Flame Demons vanished from their spots and appeared at either side of Ans'or, their fiery greatswords and flame-whips with barbed spikes and solid spherical bodies lashing towards him.

"At last, you look the part!" Since Ans'or lacked legendary armor, he didn't let the attacks reach him. Moving effortlessly, he dodged the swinging greatswords.

Wind and lightning surged to his palms, forming a set of elemental gauntlets, then he reached out, grabbing a flame whip in each hand.

"Boom!" Ans'or swung the flame whips in his hands, causing the two stout Barlow Flame Demons to crash heavily into each other. The crisp and dense sound of bones breaking echoed through the air.

"Why are you much weaker than the ones I've encountered before?" Ans'or, having punched one of the Barlow Flame Demons away, frowned slightly, then looked up at the sky tainted by the demons' aura, and realized the difference.

Previously, he had fought demons in the Abyss, where, as a creature of order, he was suppressed, much like being shackled, while the Barlow Flame Demons, as favorites of the Abyss, received its blessings.

Now, however, they were in Erathia, and although Ans'or did not receive any blessings from this world, he was also not suppressed. The demons, due to the special environment, neither faced suppression nor received any enhancements.

Understanding the situation, Ans'or felt a surge of boredom. Thunder erupted, clearing out the summoned fodder demons. He then turned to look at the two Barlow Flame Demons struggling to stand up from the crater.

Next, the ground exploded, and Ans'or's figure instantly disappeared from its spot, appearing in front of one of the Barlow Flame Demons. His feet, wreathed in wind and lightning, stomped down...

"Boom!" "Bang!" With each move of his hands and feet, Ans'or broke the air, creating sonic booms with thunderous roars, his punches landing solidly, making the two Barlow Flame Demons scream in agony.

"Pfft!" Ans'or grabbed one of the Barlow Flame Demons, holding it like a rag doll. Claws, wings, tails, and other parts were torn off by the violent Titan, one by one. Lava-like blood spurted, contaminating a large area of the ground...

"Not satisfying enough!" Standing on the collapsed hillside, with trees downed and the ground devastated, the Titan sighed with dissatisfaction. Under his feet, the body of one Barlow Flame Demon lay broken and ashen-faced, having given up struggling.

"No rush, it's just the beginning. More powerful demons will descend soon."
