After Ophis sucked the life out of me, essentially rendering me temporarily disabled in bed, we had no choice but to cuddle for the majority of the day in silence, since you know... she loves silence. 

What surprised me the most was that at no point did she feel asleep, she only rubbed my chest or played with my skin softly, keeping her slit eyes open staring at nothing, just enjoying the silence. 

When I asked her why she wouldn't fall asleep, she said this was her way of 'slumbering'. Her conscience was mostly never unconscious and that was precisely why she hated noise so much.

I just have to settle down some matters in this world to properly sit down and do my work as a therapist.

In came the goddess of water wearing a stack of papers. I put a towel around my crotch just for decency. Who would have thought? Initially, this girl was unimportant but as matters stand now... Aqua is in charge of the Sun Church. 

This girl is useless for everything... except being a goddess. 

Yep, she can't fry a pair of eggs to save her life. But everything in regards to being a goddess and management of a church, she can do perfectly. The distribution of preachers and archbishops, the schooling, the inclusion of the church in the educational institutes, the branding... everything was taken care of by Aqua while I was adventuring with the girls and doing me, uhm... things.

So I had to treat this girl politely because that paperwork was something I didn't want to do.

Aqua entered the room looking a bit sceptical. She analysed everything… the subtle lewd scent, the silhouette of a gorgeous woman lazily leaning on the bed in a rather shameful position. When her eyes met Ophis', she swiftly evaded them.

Then last but not least, her eyes fell on her boss. Ray was semi-naked with only a towel around his crotch. She could see the well-sculpted body of a god with shiny tattoos and the most obvious changes on him.

His right side was now pitch-black from his previous star-shaped pupil eyes as if representing day and night.

Her mouth inadvertently swallowed a mouthful of saliva as she repressed the urge to lock her lips.

For the Goddess of Water, it was an understatement to call the Sun God: attractive.

Aqua had always been interested. But the prospect of romance could never be any bleaker.

She only needed one look to realise that Ophis was a goddess too, and not a weak one by any means.

"I came to see how you were doing. Are you feeling better?" She asked, taking a sit on the table next to the bed where Ray sat together with her.

"As you can see I am ready to go, it is just Tsunade who is taking it too far".

"You should be obedient. With us gods… there is always more than what meets the eye".

"You're quite experienced on all this godly matter, aren't you?~" He snickered, getting even closer.

"W-What do you mean?"

"I was told you have been taking care of everything in the church. I'm proud of you, Aqua" A soft palm to pat the girl's blue hair like a cute cat.

Those words impacted and echoed in her ears as if the dumbass that served her doom had been screaming at her ears with a megaphone.

'I'm proud of you, I'm proud of you... you... you...'

"Hehe huehue, I've just been doing my best! Pat me more!" A goosebump rang down the Sun God's spine when he saw her nearly salivate and ask for more pats. 

"I know. Tsunade told me she has been cooperating with you to manage the Sun Church since you're the only one who has knowledge and appreciate that. As such, I have decided to give you a gift"

Aqua gasped, a hand patted her shoulder as she couldn't digest the fact that her efforts had paid of; Her work was being appreciated and she was being spoiled. When did that ever happen? Such a thing felt unheard of… before Kazuma or after Kazuma.

"I am… getting a raise up the bureaucratic ladder?"

"Huh? Sort of yeah… I'll help you recover your divinity".

"I'll b-be… a goddess again?"

"You should. Since your soul is already that of a goddess and it is only your body that has decayed if I give you a good session. That should sort out matters. However, there is one condition".

"What is it? I'll do anything!" Aqua was impatient. She jumped on Ray without regard to decorum. Finally, she could get rid of that mortal body that put her on the same level as that man. 

'Finally! I can be out of the scope of that useless tractor-ran stress-inducing pussy-allergic blood-sucking balls-snorting panties-sniffing cock-jerking pervert!'.

There was no one in this world she hated more... and that man wasn't even in this world. 

"The condition is… that you're going to stay with me forever and manage my church".
