"Prime Minister Honest is going to be executed?"

Upon hearing this exhilarating news, the members of Night Raid couldn't contain their excitement.

Although Honest had been imprisoned before, no one was sure if he might return to wreak havoc on the Empire again. After all, he had once been deeply trusted by the Emperor.

But now, finally hearing that Honest was to be executed—and by the most severe method of death by a thousand cuts—was the best news imaginable for those who opposed him.

"That scoundrel Honest is finally getting what's coming to him?"

"I absolutely have to witness this joyous event in person," Leone declared enthusiastically.

As the mastermind behind the Empire's previous turmoil, Honest was universally despised—whether by those who had lost loved ones because of him or by people who had suffered under his oppression.

Especially for Leone, who hailed from the slums.

She knew all too well how miserable life was for the Empire's lower classes under Honest's rule.

Her hatred for him ran deep.

"Is that so? he is finally going to die?"

Unlike Leone's excitement, Akame and Bulat felt more a sense of relief.

Both had left the Empire because they couldn't tolerate its darkness.

Now, with the demise of its greatest source of evil, they felt an immense weight lifted from their hearts—even if they now stood in opposition to the Empire.

As the others reveled in the news of Honest's impending execution, Najenda couldn't help but furrow her brow.

"Something feels off."

"Off?"

Hearing Najenda's words, the others looked at her in surprise.

"Could there be some kind of conspiracy involved?" Leone asked anxiously.

"I'm afraid so," Najenda nodded slightly, her expression still grave.

"Is it directed at us?" Akame inquired seriously.

"I don't think so," Najenda shook her head.

"It seems aimed at someone else, but I can't say exactly who."

"Hmm, really?" Leone mused. "You smart folks always pick up on these things. I didn't notice anything strange at all!"

"It's not so much about noticing as it is a gut feeling," Najenda explained earnestly. "On the surface, this is about executing Honest after his trial, but on a deeper level, it's likely meant to divert the public's attention from the recent battles."

"But from what I know about the current Prime Minister, Mellie, she's the type who thinks several steps ahead."

"This action seems too hasty, not in line with her usual methods—unless she's using it to achieve some specific goal."

"But I don't know exactly what that is, so it's just a hypothesis."

After hearing Najenda's speculation, the others came to an understanding.

"So, should we still go to witness the execution in a week?" Leone asked, a bit concerned.

"Yes, why not?" Najenda replied with a smile. "I don't think this is a trap targeting us. It seems more likely they're aiming at internal enemies."

"For us, there's no downside."

"In that case, there's no reason we shouldn't go!"

"Yes!"

Leone cheered, jumping up in excitement at Najenda's approval.

The others couldn't help but smile as well.

Their desire to see Honest meet his end was heartfelt and sincere.

"Hahaha!!"

Seated atop his throne, Syura laughed maniacally as he read the information his subordinates had brought.

As Honest's son, Syura had been influenced by his father from a young age.

Unsurprisingly, he had grown into a despicable person.

In the past, he had committed all sorts of atrocities in the capital, relying on his father's power.

As he grew older, he became bored with such a life and chose to travel the world, collecting strong people and lost Teigu from various places.

He himself was the wielder of the Teigu "Dimensional Formation: Shambhala."

One day, while abroad, he received a secret letter from a trusted aide, informing him that his father had lost the Emperor's favor and was imprisoned.

Upon receiving this news, Syura immediately rushed back to the capital.

After all, he held great respect for his father.

His ambition was to surpass Honest.

But after secretly returning, he couldn't find out where his father was being held, no matter how hard he tried.

He and his assembled talents were vexed by this, but to no avail.

All they knew was that Prime Minister Honest was secretly imprisoned in a Night Raven facility, and no one knew its location.

Left with no choice, Syura could only bide his time, hiding in the capital.

Now, the opportunity he'd been waiting for had finally arrived.

To execute Prime Minister Honest, the Emperor had ordered that he be transferred to death row.

Though the prison was heavily guarded.

Those guards were soldiers, not Teigu users.

To Syura, this was a Golden Opportunity.

"Hahaha! I knew it! The new Prime Minister wouldn't secretly execute my father. Publicly executing a former minister would greatly enhance her prestige."

"My original plan was to storm the execution ground, but with this better chance, I won't let it slip by."

Crumpling the letter in his hand, Syura looked down at his subordinates and shouted:

"Everyone, let's storm the death row prison and rescue Prime Minister Honest!"

"Yes, Syura-sama!"

The assembled elites responded in unison.

"Well? Are you ready?"

Mellie asked with a smile as she looked at Airmid before her.

Hearing Mellie's question, Airmid turned around, her expression serious.

"Of course, everything is prepared."

"Syura, the son of former Prime Minister Honest, has used his father's authority and wealth to assemble a team of Teigu users. He's a source of chaos in the Empire."

"This time, we must eliminate him completely!"

Death Row Prison.

Located on the outskirts of the capital, it was an eerie and foreboding structure.

As its name implied, only those who had committed heinous crimes and were sentenced to death were held here.

Given that this world was not an ordinary one,

Most who committed such grave offenses were individuals with considerable personal strength.

These people often had equally formidable friends or relatives.

Great power often led to disregard for the law.

Therefore, this prison was the most heavily guarded facility in the Empire.

Moreover, in recent years, due to Prime Minister Honest's rampant abuse of power, the number of death row inmates had increased significantly.

This had led to even stricter security measures.

But today, this heavily fortified prison faced the greatest crisis since its establishment.

"Attack!"

"Slash!"

"Argh!"

Under the cover of night, the once secure prison was now a battleground.

On one side were the prison guards; on the other, Syura and the talents he had recruited from around the world, here to rescue his father.

Many of Syura's recruits were Teigu users.

For example, the alchemist Dorothea.

Her Teigu was "Blood Collection: Absordex."

A fang-shaped Teigu installed in the mouth, it could drain victims into husks through blood-sucking, using their essence to heal and enhance herself.

Then there was the witch Cosmina.

Her Teigu was "Great Tremor: Heavy Pressure," a microphone-shaped weapon that could emit ultrasonic waves shattering enemies' bones.

The pirate Enshin.

His Teigu was "Moonlight Sword Dance: Shamshir," a scimitar capable of unleashing vacuum blades, with power that varied with the lunar cycle—reaching its peak during a full moon.

The serial killer Champ.

His Teigu was "Chaos Throw: Big Leaguer."

A set of six spheres, each with different attributes, thrown to activate their powers and returning afterward.

The six spheres were: Storm Orb, Blast Orb, Flame Orb, Frost Orb, Thunder Orb, and Corrosion Orb.

Lastly, there was the swordsman Izou.

Unlike the others, Izou was not a Teigu user.

Yet his combat strength was among the top in this group.

In a way, he could be called an Akame without a Teigu.

A man obsessed with swordsmanship.

With such formidable allies, Syura was confident in rescuing his father.

Including himself, they had six combatants at the level of Teigu users.

His Group strength rivaled that of Night Raid, who had caused havoc in the capital without being captured, That's what Syura believed.

"Hahaha! Everyone, I imagine you've been itching for action lately!"

"Then let's cut loose and have a grand time!"

Spreading his arms wide, Syura shouted with abandon.

Hearing his words, the others grinned with satisfaction.

As the saying goes, "Birds of a feather flock together."

Those who would follow someone like Syura were naturally scoundrels themselves.

Dorothea was an alchemist who had modified her body countless times. Though she appeared young and cute, she was actually quite old.

As a brilliant alchemist, she could transform others into creatures of her design. Her desire was immortality, leading her to kill many in human experiments.

Her blood-sucking Teigu suited her perfectly.

Cosmina was a Singer deemed guilty by Western witch trials, with a penchant for toying with men.

Enshin was a pirate who ruled the southern islands, cruel by nature, and, like Syura, enjoyed exploiting women.

Champ was a serial killer clown with a twisted affection for children. He called them "angels" and, not wanting them to grow into "filthy adults," killed them all.

Even Izou was a swordsman who loved his blade so much that he continually performed blood sacrifices with it.

Clearly, Syura's subordinates were all vicious criminals.

After arriving in the capital with Syura, they had to suppress their true natures due to Honest's imprisonment, constantly hiding and fleeing.

Now, they could finally unleash their desires.

"Ahh!"

"No, please!"

"Help me!"

"Hahaha!"

Listening to the continuous screams around him, Syura laughed excitedly.

Amid his elation, his eyes searched the surroundings until he spotted a high-ranking prison official.

Seeing this, Syura rushed over, subduing the man and pinning him to the ground.

"Spare me! Please, Syura!"

The captured official struggled desperately as Syura hoisted him into the air by his collar.

"Oh? You know me?"

Looking at the man in his grasp, Syura asked with a sly grin.

"Yes! I once saw you at Prime Minister Honest's residence. Even back then, though you were young, your heroic demeanor left a deep impression on me. I could never forget you!"

The man fawned shamelessly.

"Hahaha!"

"Well said! I'm pleased!"

With that, Syura released his grip, letting the man fall back to the ground.

Then he planted a foot on the man's stomach.

"Since you know who I am, you should understand my purpose!"

"Tell me, where is my father being held?"

As he questioned, Syura applied more pressure with his foot.

The man beneath him cried out in pain.

"In the depths of the prison! Prime Minister Honest is confined in the deepest cell!"

"So, the deepest part, as expected!"

Syura nodded in satisfaction.

He had guessed his father's location.

Given Honest's status, it made sense for him to be held in the most secure area.

But to be certain, Syura sought confirmation.

Now, his assumption was proven correct.

"Very good. I'm quite satisfied with your answer!"

Looking down at the man, Syura lifted his foot with a faint smile.

Feeling the pressure ease, the official was overjoyed.

"Thank you, Syura-sa—"

"Bang!"

"Huh? What did you say?"

Syura feigned confusion, gazing at the man whose head he had just crushed underfoot.

As if unaware of his own actions.

But within moments, he couldn't hold back and burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! That fool actually thought I'd spare him!"

"If he knew me, he must have been one of my father's men. But my father has fallen, and yet he's unharmed?"

"Isn't that the mark of a traitor?"

"Traitors must all die!"

"Hahaha!"

With arms wide open, Syura laughed wildly.
