Chapter 71: 69. Onslaught
===Godrick Alter===
"Not exactly." The twisted Juggernaut said before blitzing forward, clotheslining Artoria who was the closest to him.
She tried to react as fast as she could, but he was too fast for her.
He viciously threw her into the ground, sending cracks across it towards the church, which started to rumble.
It then started to collapse in on itself, making the masters inside scream and shout as they ran towards the doorway.
Heracles ran back into the church and emerged a moment later holding each master before he suddenly let them all go, taking a massive right haymaker that threw him back into the crumbling church, finally making it collapse on top of him.
"There's one." Godrick Alter's deep voice said, a hint of finality lingering in his words.
Everyone was in shock at the sudden attack before they all acted on instinct, Mordred, Cu-Chulainn, and Igraine all leaping towards him with their weapons reared back, ready to strike.
Godrick wasn't wearing his helmet, letting his long platinum hair loose, and leaving his feral grin unobstructed as he watched the church fall.
He then leaned back and dodged the three attacks aimed at him before throwing his right hand up and through the weapons, blowing them towards the sky.
He then suddenly shot up towards Mordred with a massive evil grin on his face, hitting her hard enough to throw her into the church as well before blocking Igraine's downward slash behind him with his left hand which was aimed at his left shoulder.
Cu-Chulainn then appeared to his right, trying to drive his spear into his chest. The massive Juggernaut caught the spear tip with his blackened right hand before yanking the spear past his chest, letting go of it and driving his right elbow into Cu-Chulainn's face.
A sickening crunch came from Cu's nose before he was thrown backwards.
The Juggernaut then pulled Igraine, who still held her sword up and over his shoulder before slamming her into the ground hard enough for her to bounce. He then drove his right fist into her unguarded stomach and threw her towards the church.
She crashed into it, a massive amount of dusk being kicked up. As it settled, he then saw Heracles pull himself from the rubble and charge at him, which he met.
The two giants smashed together with a deafening clap of steel and flesh before they started hitting each other with everything they had, loud cracks and dull thuds coming from their fistfight.
Godrick landed a left hook to Heracles' face before deflecting a left haymaker from his opponent. This then put Godrick to Heracles left, leaving the demigod open to a massive left uppercut to his stomach.
A loud crack came from Heracles left side before a pained groan came from the massive man, making him double over.
Godrick's right armored knee came up and met Heracles face, snapping his head back.
Heracles took a few unsteady steps back before a blue and red blur passed him. Cu came from his right shoulder, twisting as he built up momentum before bringing his spear down on Godrick with enough force to bend his weapon.
To his astonishment however, it simply slid off the Juggernaut's stone-like right arm.
The massive man took the opportunity to backhand him before his left hand shot out and gripped Cu by his long blue ponytail, dragging him back and planting his right fist into Cu's already bloody face, sending him back towards Heracles who had regained his footing.
Fast as lightning, Godrick appeared between the two. Cu-Chulainn reacted as he regained his footing, driving his spear towards the Juggernaut, but to his surprise once more, his enemy reached out and gripped his spear, forcing it past him into Heracles' stomach.
A sickening squelch came from the spear as it entered Heracles, but an even more sickening sound came from Cu as Godrick once more drove his left elbow into the man's face, forcing him to let his spear go.
Godrick then smashed his open palm into the butt end of the weapon, forcing it through Heracles.
It had so much force behind it that it ripped through the massive demigod, causing him to die a second time.
"There's two." Godrick said once more before side stepping a sword slash that just missed his head.
He retaliated by stepping back towards the perpetrator, driving his armored knee into her chest, forcing the air from Artoria's lungs.
She stepped backwards, years of training and battle awareness taking over as she spun away, slashing his chest with her blade.
He didn't react in the slightest, looking down at her in disdain, his skin and armor repairing themselves before her very eyes
"Would you like to try again?" He asked.
She inhaled deeply, filling her lungs with air before jumping back to where Mordred and Igraine stood, the three of them taking battle ready stances.
Godrick suddenly reached up and caught Cu-Chulainn, who made one more attempt to stop the Juggernaut, but another blow to the face was all it took to take him out of the fight.
He then threw the limp body towards where the masters all stood, fear written all over their faces.
He then started to walk towards the three women, who suddenly blitzed forward.
Godrick snarled as he met them, sparks igniting as Clarent clashed with the Juggernaut's right arm, while Excalibur and the Warlord's unnamed blade clashed with his armor.
He mainly focused on Mordred, as she held the only blade that could truly hurt him.
Her blade met his right arm while he simultaneously redirected Excalibur into Igraine's blade with his left, switching between offense and defense.
He shifted to his right as Excalibur bit into his side, causing Mordred's sword to miss him.
Clarent crashed into Excalibur, pulling it from Godricks flesh, freeing him to land a massive right hook to Mordred's unguarded side.
He shuffled to the right after backstepping a wild swing from her, her blade striking Igraine's which caused it to miss Godrick's unguarded face by an inch or two.
His smile had never left his face, but now it only grew as he saw their disorder. He was able to shuffle around them, dipping and weaving through their attacks with ease as he landed his own powerful blows.
Igraine, frustrated, shoved Artoria out of the way, making her fall to the ground to her right before wildly swinging her blade. She didn't care if it hit Mordred, she only cared if the blade hit its mark, which it didn't.
It did however, strike Mordred in her right bicep, which caused her right arm to go limp.
"Damn it!" Mordred yelled before one of Godrick's massive fists struck her in the face. She spun through the air before crashing down on the ground hard.
He turned around and batted Igraine's sword to the ground before stepping forward, gripping the hair on the top of her helmet and kneeing her in the face. Her helmet crumpling in on itself as she fell backwards, a pained groan coming from her lips.
A massive amount of golden light shot into the sky before Artoria pointed Excalibur at her son's Alter, hoping she could give the rest of the servants an edge.
She had seen Heracles finish regenerating from his most recent death, as well as Cu-Chulainn get to his feet and spin his spear before blitzing towards Godrick.
"EXCALIBUR!" She roared with all her might, bringing it's mighty blade down on the Juggernaut.
At the last moment, Cu-Chulainn threw himself high into the sky before pulling his arm back.
The muscles in his arm bulged as he threw his spear with all his strength, shouting it's name.
"GÁE BOLG!"
The two attacks met the Juggernaut at the same time, throwing everyone nearby outwards before a massive explosion shook the ground for miles.
Artoria struggled to keep her footing as the ground around her began to evaporate, but she poured all her strength into the beam, praying that it was enough.
Soon it was all over, and Cu's spear returned to him as he landed, watching the dust settle around the epicenter of his and Artoria's attacks.
His eyes went wide however, when a massive hand waved the smoke away, showing the Juggernaut unharmed and smiling face.
He hummed to himself before raising his right arm, the amethyst veins slowly turning gold starting from his shoulder as it almost seemed to bleed down the rest of the veins.
"My turn." He said ruthlessly as he clenched his fingers inward towards his palm where the pommel of Excalibur began to take form.
Artoria watched in utter astonishment and horror as her very own blade formed in his hand before he held it up to the sky.
"EXCALIBUR!" He roared, golden light exploding upwards into the sky.
Artoria visibly shuttered at the amount of magic she felt from the sheer power of the blade.
Godrick brought the blade down on Artoria, who raised her own to defend.
Her world was shattered by golden light, but something was off. There was a mix of purple in the blinding gold.
And then she heard it.
"I am the bone of my sword! RHO AIAS!" Shirou screamed, having run to stand in front of his servant.
A six petaled purple flower bloomed in front of them, blocking the Juggernaut's Excalibur.
"Gah!" Shirou grunted as he pushed forward with all his strength, gripping his outstretched left arm with his right, trying to outlast the onslaught of Excalibur's destructive beam.
Suddenly, it was all over, and Godrick Alter appeared in front of Shirou, his grin somehow widening as he threw his right fist forward into the purple shield.
Rho Aias shattered at his strength, but something unexpected happened as the glass like shards of the protective magic scattered.
They all dissolved and turned to wisps that were immediately absorbed by Godricks right arm, the amethyst veins glowing bright for a moment before going dim.
"I've been wanting this for a long time." His deep voice said joyfully.
Mordred, who was catching her breath as she knelt on the ground, suddenly stood and ripped Clarent from the ground, holding it in both hands.
Her blade came apart, letting it's power erupt from it as blood red energy and lightning shot into the sky. The air whipped around her, and everything that wasn't blown away in Artoria and Godrick's attacks was now thrown into the sky.
Godrick turned around, giving Artoria the chance to grab Shirou and get out of the way.
"Let's see you take this you big bastard! CLARENT BLOOD ARTHUR!" She screamed, pulling her sword up near her face before thrusting it forward towards her brothers Alter.
To her shock, the Juggernaut just laughed before yelling his solution.
"RHO AIAS!"
To Shirou's and Artoria's utter shock, a seven petal amethyst flower exploded into existence before Clarent's beam hit it, stopping it dead.
Godrick's Rho Aias was far bigger than Shirou's, and could block much more than his own.
The ground around them shook as Clarent carved deep fissures into the ground around the Juggernaut. His Rho Aias even deflected some arcs of energy from the sword that destroyed things nearby.
Soon, Clarent died down, leaving Godrick standing there completely uninjured. He threw his head back and laughed, deep and rich.
He then turned to Shirou and sneered.
"I must thank you. I've been trying to get my hands on that shield for years, and you practically handed it to me." He said before turning to Mordred, who fell to one knee once more.
"My dear alternate sister. You're just as weak as my own." He said walking over to her, summoning a dreadful halberd.
She looked up at him, fear growing in her eyes.
"But I must say. I like the way you look up at me like that." He said before gripping his halberd in both hands and delivering a massive uppercut to her jaw with the hammer side of his weapon.
She let out a groan as she fell backwards, letting Clarent fall from her fingers.
It fell next to her, and in one final act of defiance, she reached for it with her right hand.
The halberd came down once more, followed by a deafening scream of pain and rage.
Mordred rolled to her left, holding the stump of her right shoulder where her arm had just been before Godricks halberd whipped back around and struck her in the head, silencing her screams. She fell to the left, a stream of blood leaking from her mouth as a soft groan left her lips.
"NO!" Artoria raged, throwing herself at the Juggernaut, who caught her blade on the shaft of his halberd.
He threw their weapons to the right before dematerializing his halberd. He backstepped a swing from Artoria who imbued her blade with mana before stepping back towards her and caught Excalibur with his right hand.
"I'm going to kill you." He said before ripping Excalibur from her grip and thrust the sword back into her stomach, it's tip exiting her back.
She let out a sharp gasp as she bent over her own sword before her head was wrenched up towards Godrick.
"But not yet." His crule voice said as he gently caressed her hair with his left hand.
"I'm going to force you to watch me kill your son. And there's nothing you can do about it." He said before pulling her closer towards him, then throwing her towards Shirou by the hilt of Excalibur, which was still buried in her stomach.
"SABER!" Shirou screamed, catching his servant as she fell next to him.
"Saber!" He said again, looking down at her.
"Shirou, run!" She gasped, looking up at him in fear and pain.
"He won't make it that far. I can promise you that." Godrick said as he stood next to them, looking across the battlefield.
He saw Igraine, Jeanne's lance standing from her broken body. Cu-Chulainn was breathing heavily as he used his spear to keep himself upright.
Jeanne herself was sitting on Heracles' broken corpse as it slowly regenerated, seeming disinterested in what was happening.
"It seems like the stage has been set. Now, we wait." The Juggernaut said, folding his arms.
