Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 318: Welcoming the New Core Member

Nearly all hunters from different regions began relocating to the new land to hunt. The portals previously built by Nita and Elen had been completed, providing easy access for anyone who wished to reach the land. With such convenient access, the new land became the main destination for hunters looking to gain massive profits.

The main hall of the alliance building was already occupied by several people.

In the main hall of the World Market Trade Alliance building, the atmosphere felt both grand and solemn. The vast room was filled with people seated neatly, waiting for the official event to begin. At the front of the hall, there was a large stage with 14 chairs arranged in a row.

Twelve of the chairs were placed on either side of the stage, six on the left and six on the right, each with a simple yet elegant design. However, the two chairs in the center of the stage drew the most attention. These two chairs had a more striking design, specially reserved for Lein and Nita, the supreme leaders of the Alliance.

In front of the stage, a sea of alliance members had gathered, with more than 10,000 people standing in orderly lines. They all wore clean white uniforms, creating a formal and organized atmosphere. Every gaze was directed forward, waiting with anticipation.

Whispers began to echo among the alliance members. "I heard we'll be welcoming new core members," said a man, his voice nearly drowned out by the low hum of chatter.

"Yes, if I'm not mistaken, their names are Joy and Grace," his friend replied.

"What? Grace? The owner of that famous manufacturing company? She's not only wealthy but also incredibly strong, isn't she?" his voice carried a tone of surprise.

Discussions about the two names quickly became the center of attention. Everyone knew Grace and Joy's reputations, especially Grace, who was recognized not only for her wealth and influence but also for her extraordinary strength.

"Well, no wonder. Both of them are from Star Academy," someone added.

"Even so, it's their talent that makes them stand out so much," another commented, making the conversation even livelier.

Rumors about the new core members had been circulating for a while, but only today would they be officially introduced. Excitement among the alliance members reached its peak.

The discussions suddenly ceased when the sound of light footsteps approached the stage. All heads turned toward the source of the sound, watching a little girl carefully walking toward the stage. She wore a pink dress adorned with small ribbons, while in her hands she clutched a large stuffed horse, nearly half her size. The girl was none other than Elen, known to many as "Princess Elen."

"Let's give a warm welcome to Princess Elen… applause, please!" the moderator's voice boomed, inviting everyone to welcome the little girl. The hall was immediately filled with thunderous applause as Elen nervously walked to the front of the stage. Her large eyes glanced at the crowd, and her face flushed red under the weight of so much attention.

"Princess Elen… as always, she's so cute," whispered a male student in the back row, his eyes fixed on Elen's figure.

"Watch your words, she might hear you!" his friend warned seriously, shooting him a sharp look.

However, comments like that were not uncommon. Elen seemed to have many admirers among the alliance members, not only from the male students but also from the female students who gazed at her with sparkling eyes.

At the front of the stage, Elen had reached her seat. With a calm motion, she sat down, folded her hands on her lap, and let her mind wander. Her eyes swept across the entire hall, scanning the rows of students seated neatly before her.

No one escaped her gaze. "That person is staring at me," Elen muttered softly, observing one of the male students whose eyes were glued to her.

"They're not as scary as I expected," she continued, this time a little more confidently.

All her life, Elen had always felt awkward looking at other people's faces, especially in a large crowd like this.

However, ever since she became a Grandmaster, that feeling of shyness had gradually faded. Even if just a little, courage had begun to grow within her.

A loud voice calling her name startled Elen from her daydream. She turned and saw a young woman dressed formally walking casually toward her.

"Elen, you're so quick," the woman called out cheerfully.

Hana approached and immediately sat in the seat next to Elen. Without hesitation, she hugged Elen tightly, as if trying to pour out all her affection.

"Elen… you smell so nice," Hana said softly, her face nearly buried in Elen's shoulder. Her embrace was so tight that Elen struggled to breathe.

"Sister Hana, I… can't breathe," Elen said in a broken voice, trying to inhale fresh air.

"Ahaha… sorry, sorry," Hana chuckled as she loosened her hug. She looked at Elen with a wide smile. "It's just… you're too adorable," she said, pinching Elen's cheeks fondly.

"Let's give a warm welcome to Princess Hana… applause, please!" The moderator's voice echoed through the hall, inviting enthusiastic applause from the students. Many of them knew Hana well. She was one of the most active core members, famous for her dedication to the tasks assigned by Lein.

"Princess Hana, as always, she's so charming," commented a male student, his eyes sparkling. However, his overly obvious admiration made his friends stifle their laughter, hiding their amused smiles. Stay tuned to empire

"Ugh…"

The male student who had just praised Hana suddenly grabbed his neck. His face turned pale, and his breathing became labored. "Help… I can't breathe," he said hoarsely, his body trembling and nearly collapsing to the floor. His hands reached out into the air, trying to find something to hold onto.

"This is your first and final warning," a cold voice echoed in his mind. He recognized the voice—it was Hana's. The piercing pain in his head made it impossible to think clearly.

"I'm sorry, Princess… I won't think bad thoughts about you again," he repeated over and over, fear etched across his face. Moments later, the pain slowly faded, but his body continued to tremble.
