Chapter 2: Wish With Hate
The wind blew, and the sight became clear. No sound. All they saw was the jewel descending from the sky. It was whole. Kagome put her hands together and lifted them to allow the jewel to fall into them. Before the Jewel made it to her hands, a pink flower developed over it, blossoming so that you could see the jewel inside of it.
The flower holding the jewel hovered over her hands. It was time. Kagome knew this was it; no turning back. The tears that fell from her eyes were not of sadness but of hate. She hated this; she hated them; she hated Jewel. It whispered that it was time to make a wish. Before now, time had been able to touch her, but now she feared it.
Kagome closed her eyes and let the jewel wrap her in a powerful pink aura. The jewel lifted her a few feet off the ground. Kagome's eyes were closed, her head tilted back, her clothes flowing around her, her hair along with it. It was a beautiful thing to behold. Her heart hurt; with her anger, she made a wish
I wish you were gone, never to return, I wish they get what their hearts truly desire!
Let Inuyasha be a full demon, let him have Kikyo, and let her be a normal woman you owe them that!
Let Sango bear Mirokus's children and let them love each other.
Let sesshomaru have his power so he may protect Rin!
Let them all have what they want! I dont care.
DON'T CARE ANYMORE; JUST BE GONE, I won't FIGHT ANYMORE, I won't FIGHT, YOU won't WIN, I dont care.
Her wish was made, but she was still floating; still, a pink aura danced around her. She watched as the flower's petals flew with the wind. They swirled around Inuyasha, and slowly as they did, his ear went away. His face had stripes, and his claws grew. His eyes turned red; he was a full-fledged demon. Then the petals danced around Kikyo. A light shined, and then she was pushed to Inuyasha. Then the petals went to Sango and Miroku, dancing around them and bringing them together they held hands and looked into each other eyes, and his curse lifted. Then last but not least, the flower came to Sesshomaru. His growl did nothing as the petals danced around him, swirling around his hair. Sesshomaru closed his eyes for a moment but opened them when the wind dyed down. Kagome could see it all, and while she was hurting and angry, there was a sense of relief but dread; she knew what was about to happen.
The petals went to Kagomem, swirling, and then the jewel entered her body, and she screamed. Slowly she descended back to the ground, the glow still around her. The petals fell to the ground and withered in death. Kagome Looked to the sky and closed her eyes. She didn't want to see any of them; she just wanted to leave it like that; she wanted to remember them this way; she wanted to forget. She stood, unable to look at them.
"Woman, what have you done? What was your wish?"
He could not let her have the moment she wanted; he had to speak. Her anger could take no more.
Her hand swung full force, and all the emotion in her body came flying at his face. She was quick, but he was quicker. He grabbed her hand just before it reached his face. She glared at him. She really never had any feelings to feel for him; he was just someone she knew in passing. But as of right now, she HATED HIM. She yanked her hand away, making his claw cut her arm, but she didn't care.
She stepped back from him; she knew it was time. She could feel the power. Her sadness for their happiness.
His eye never left her; she finally looked up at him and locked eyes.
"You could not let me have my moment, could you," she yelled at him. "You just could not let me forget the way I wanted to!" she lashed out.
Damn, that demon Lord.
"I hate you! I hate you!" Her screams were mixed with tears as her body faded into light; the last thing she said only he could hear, it was faint and faded like her body before him.
"I just want to forget; I just want to be forgotten," It was faded; her words almost were said in vain, for they almost were not heard, but he heard being close to her. Her friend's screams were muddled to the sound of her last words in his ear.
She was gone, back to her time; the light took her, time took her, the jewel took her. When Sesshomaru turned away from looking in the direction the light went, he turned to his brother and looked at him.
"Give me your sword," He demanded
"Did you forget you can't touch it, dumbass!" Inuyasha snapped
"Give it to me, or I'll take it."
"Fine, get your hand burned!" Inuyasha put his hand on the sheath a handed it to Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru went for the sword, pulled it out, turned, and walked out to the clearing. Everyone was shocked and also confused. Sesshomaru swung the sword with all his power everything went bright, and everything that was in its path was destroyed. The wave of power was bigger than his father's. After everything died down, Sessshomaru looked down at the sword in his hand, he had no desire for it and as he walked away he tossed it behind his shoulder it landed in front of Inuyasha's feet.
"You are a full fledge demon Inuyasha," He wondered if his brother would be able to pick it up now that he was.
"Hey, Sesshomaru were you going?" Inuyasha called but there was no answer. He was gone.
