Chapter 155: Chapter 155
"Oh, really?"
Holding Kuroneko's hand, Hiroshi looked at the surprised group in front of him and smiled.
"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Hiroshi, Kuroneko's fiancé," he said. "By the way," Hiroshi leaned down, staring directly at Kirino Kousaka, "I really dislike rude people. So, can you apologize, Miss Arrogant?"
"Huh?!"
Chika Fujiwara hugged Kuroneko from behind, resting her head on her shoulder, looking confused. "Kuroneko, what's happening here? Why does Hiroshi look so angry?"
"It's because that woman said something quite rude." Kuroneko sighed softly, a faint smile on her lips, as she gently pulled Hiroshi's hand. "It's okay, Hiroshi. We should get going. I'm not angry. Words from someone unimportant aren't worth troubling myself over."
"Really?" Hiroshi turned to look into Kuroneko's eyes, his expression softening. "Alright, let's go then."
He waved goodbye to Saori Makishima, then cheerfully led Kuroneko away.
"Phew!" Kirino Kousaka exhaled slowly, patting her chest to calm her racing heart. She clenched her fists and looked at Hiroshi's retreating back.
"What the heck! That guy in black thinks just because he's good-looking, he can smile at me and then completely ignore me?!"
"Huh?" Kyousuke Kousaka stared blankly at his sister. He reached out, placing his hand on her forehead, mumbling, "No fever..."
"Ugh!" Kirino elbowed Kyousuke in the stomach, glaring at him. "What are you, some kind of pervert? You touched my forehead without my permission!"
"I was just checking if you were sick!" Kyousuke rubbed his stomach, eyeing Hiroshi, who was walking ahead with Kuroneko, his expression fearful. "That boyfriend of Kuroneko's nearly scared me to death. I swear my heart almost stopped!"
"You really are a hopeless pervert!" Kirino shot her brother a disdainful look. Her eyes returned to Hiroshi, scanning him from top to bottom, her mouth watering slightly. "He's got the perfect build," she said, chuckling. "Because I'm a model, I have a pretty good understanding of physique."
Wiping her mouth, her eyes lit up as she watched Hiroshi. "His body is the golden ratio! And with that face and that calm demeanor... it's enough to make anyone's heart race!"
"Kirino, since when did you become this kind of creepy fangirl?" Kyousuke looked at her, bewildered, waving a hand in front of her face. "Snap out of it. The guy has a girlfriend. Plus, that vibe he gave off was really intimidating."
"Hmph!" Kirino slapped Kyousuke's hand away, folding her arms. "You just don't get it. If you can't appreciate beauty, then just keep quiet!"
"Hahaha." Saori adjusted her glasses, smiling as the line started to move. "Let's go. The big event is about to start!"
"Who's got a good relationship with him?!" Kirino wiped the sweat from her forehead, flicking her hair as she moved forward.
"Kiririn-shi, honestly, I do think your words earlier were a bit much," Saori said. "How about I go with you to find Kuroneko later, and you can apologize?"
"Hmph! I was just telling the truth. But since you said so, I'll apologize later." Kirino agreed reluctantly.
Ahead, Hiroshi suddenly shivered, looking back to see Kirino staring excitedly at him. He turned to Kuroneko, who was holding her hand over her mouth, giggling. "So, who exactly did I just try to intimidate?! What's wrong with her?! Just because I look good, she turned my pressure into some kind of... attraction?"
"Pfft! Hahaha!" Kuroneko couldn't help but burst into laughter, pulling Hiroshi along. She looked ahead, where a huge convention hall stood, her eyes shining with excitement. She smiled at Hiroshi, holding out her hand.
"My contractor, will you accompany the 'Fallen Saint Black Cat' into this holy battleground?"
"It would be my honor!" Hiroshi placed his hand in hers, interlocking their fingers, pointing forward with his other hand. "Together, we will charge straight ahead!"
"Gabriel, look at that! It's so intense! Should we do that too?!" Satania grabbed Gabriel by her shirt, shaking her.
"Huh?" Gabriel looked over her game console, staring at Satania as she saved her progress. With a swift punch, she knocked Satania back.
Blowing on her knuckles, Gabriel glanced over at Hiroshi's group. Her half-lidded eyes opened slightly before returning to their usual indifferent state. "Vignette, is there someone else from Hell studying in this world? And they're dating a human?"
"I'm kind of interested, but..." Gabriel clenched her fist, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm as she looked at the convention entrance.
"But! Compared to the games and doujinshi waiting for me inside, all of that is trivial!!!"
"Wahhh!" Satania whimpered, clutching her head where a bump had formed, watching Hiroshi and the others enter the venue. "There's even another demon from Hell here? But how dare they ignore the great demon lord Satania without paying their respects. Wahhh."
"Satania..." Vignette sighed, wiping Satania's tear-stained face with a handkerchief. She looked at Gabriel, who had gone back to her console, and spoke gently. "Gabriel, stop bullying Satania."
"Tch. She kept pulling on my clothes." Gabriel pointed to her slightly open zipper. "See? She broke my zipper too."
"Gabriel!" Vignette quickly pressed down on Gabriel's slightly exposed chest, glancing around nervously. She leaned in to whisper, "Your chest is showing! And why are you only wearing a jacket?! Where are your undershirt and bra?!"
"Eh?" Gabriel looked down, wriggling. "Vignette, let go of me. You're blocking my game. I'm fighting a boss right now. And as for why I'm only wearing a jacket—it's because you washed all my clothes yesterday, and they're still not dry."
"If I washed them yesterday and hung them up properly, they should have dried!" Vignette scolded, quickly taking off her jacket and putting it on Gabriel. "Gabriel, did you close the curtains and play games as soon as I left?!"
"Uh..."
"Look, it's the entrance!" Gabriel yelled, storing her console, grabbing Vignette and Satania, and rushing forward.
"Gabriel, slow down! Be careful or the jacket will fall off! And answer my question!"
"It's fine! If it falls, let it fall. It'll be Satania's problem. After all, I'm an angel! As for the rest, stop fussing, Vignette. You're a demon; worrying will make you age faster. Come on! The games I want are about to be released!"
Izumi Masamune held a tablet, scratching his cheek. "No wonder it's the biggest convention—the amount of chuunibyou here is insane."
"Brother! Hurry up, or the doujinshi I want will be sold out!" Sagiri yelled.
"Alright, alright." Masamune adjusted his Bluetooth earpiece, stepping inside the hall.
"Brother, you should also find some cute girls to take photos of. It'd be a waste not to use them as reference material," Sagiri added.
"Sagiri, remember your pen name. Doesn't using random people as material make you feel guilty, Eromanga Sensei?"
"Ah! I don't know anyone named that!" Sagiri protested. "And I want photos! Get me photos!"
"Alright, alright." Masamune sighed, covering his ears. "Fine, I'll try. But I'll tell them what the photo is for, and it'll be their choice to agree or not."
"Fine, just get moving, brother!"
