Chapter 12: 012 Who is he looking at?
The pain Wen Nuan felt caused her scattered thoughts to coalesce at the speed of a laser, and she began to realize that her situation was dire. Why was she being manhandled?
This man was particularly violent.
Wen Nuan became angry and kneed upward, causing Ye Feimo to grunt.
"Shit!" Ye Feimo's perpetually unchanging emotion flared into sparks in his eyes.
Ye Feimo's presence was too imposing.
She was no match for him.
Wen Nuan reached to pick up a bathrobe to cover herself, but Ye Feimo forcefully grabbed her, and they both tumbled onto the carpet, with him dominantly pinning down her limbs.
Wen Nuan was furious. She felt like headbutting him like Beckham going for a header, but then she thought that Ye Feimo's head was probably harder than hers, and she would end up bloodied. Her temper was instantly cooled.
"Ye Feimo, I'm going to sue you!" Wen Nuan cried out in anger, losing her rationality, regretting her words as soon as they left her mouth.
"Attempted," Ye Feimo said expressionlessly correcting her, then continued, "You can't sue me. Your lawyer's fees will just end up in my pocket."
Could you be any more domineering?
With him pinning her down, the position was too ambiguous. The power difference between them was already vast and, in this comparison, she felt even more like Little Red Riding Hood at the mercy of the big bad wolf.
Looking at Ye Feimo, so neatly dressed, she thought of a phrase.
'A beast in gentleman's clothing.'
Her kick was rather strong, fierce and ferocious—one of the classic self-defense moves. He grunted in pain, but why was he still so eager to pounce forward? Could it be that his 'little brother' had impressive self-healing abilities?
Wen Nuan was dizzy from her own wild thoughts.
"Don't move!" he commanded sternly. Wen Nuan couldn't listen to him and struggled even more. The pose they were in was truly indecent. She had never been so bold before, and this was nothing like that night. Ye Feimo's gaze darkened gradually, "It seems you really do want to seduce me."
Wen Nuan instantly stopped moving, her body stiff as a dead fish.
"Good." Ye Feimo was satisfied but continued to stare at her, as if searching for something on her face, or reminiscing something. His hand gently caressed her face.
Wen Nuan shuddered inexplicably, clearly out of fear.
The atmosphere, ambiguous.
His scent carried a trace of magnolia, an unknown perfume that had a hint of chill—suits him well. Mingling at the tip of her nose, his hand rubbing her face, Wen Nuan trembled but felt something peculiar.
Who was he seeing through her?
Ye Feimo was undoubtedly cold and merciless, but at this moment, a faint tenderness slowly emanated from his chilly gaze—a tenderness that could suffocate someone, intense, as if she were his treasure.
Who was he looking at?
Wen Nuan was self-aware; it was definitely not her.
