'You!' Shane was shocked as the squad didn't seem to have a proper plan to subdue this huge Rock Python Zombie!
Obviously, their hammers and metal bats were no longer effective against this type of Zombie! Shane could even tell that this was already a high-tier Zombie in terms of its durability. It was completely different from other Zombies they've encountered so far!
"Do not panic! That Zombie is only tough..." Swain shouted as he boosted everyone's morale.
Apparently, they weren't completely hopeless as Shane finally witnessed the Talents or Skills of these individuals!
Furthermore, he also saw the advanced prosthetics in action!
Iseult, the one who had a prosthetic eye, immediately gave an instruction! "Look at the green stone on its body! We have to destroy it!"
Hearing this, Maurice and Swain blocked the Python's momentum using the Prosthetic Arms power!
Boom! Boom!
They released two powerful punches that made the Python Zombie shake for a bit!
It was enough for the other members of the group to try and destroy the green stone, but unfortunately, none of their javelins, arrows, and knives that were thrown could destroy it!
Shane could tell that they were already using some sort of Survivor Skills or perhaps even their Talents, but that was just not enough.
Clink! Clink! Clink!
The green stone was just too durable, and it just made the Rock Python Zombie infuriated and charged at them once again.
The squads fought bravely as their hammers, metal bats, and other weapons struck the Python's tough scales. But the creature's sheer size and strength made it a frightening opponent.
It lashed out with its tail, sending several squad members sprawling.
Maurice narrowly avoided a crushing blow, while Iseult's squad struggled to keep the creature at bay.
Seeing that their plans weren't working at all, Shane knew he had to act. Although none of them were killed as of yet, a casualty might appear soon.
'That should be enough…' Shane thought…
He then activated the Concealment Ring that he had looted before and felt the familiar sensation of his presence fading into the shadows.
Moving swiftly and silently, he edged closer to the Rock Python Zombie, his Legendary-grade Light Flameblade made of Phoenix Copper had also appeared in his hands.
As he approached, the Python reared back, preparing to strike at Swain.
'Perfect…'
Shane seized the moment.
With his new Five-Meter Jump Skill, he easily reached the Rock Python Zombie's head and activated one of the Light Flameblade's Special Effects.

Inferno Burst: With a swing of the blade, the wielder can unleash a torrent of fire, manifesting as powerful fireballs that scorch enemies in their path. The fireballs explode on impact, engulfing the target in searing flames. Cost: 200 Spirit Points.

Needless to say, Shane used the Inferno Burst!

The blade ignited with a brilliant, searing light, blinding everyone in the cavern.
Shane's attack was so sudden, and even the members of the Zombie Extermination Squad were unaware that Shane would actually make his move!
Everyone was surprised!
The blade sliced through the Python's stone scales and embedded deep into its flesh. The creature let out a deafening roar as the Phoenix Copper's flames spread rapidly, engulfing its body. The fire burned with an intensity that even the Python's stone-like hide couldn't withstand.
Shane wasn't sure if it was feeling the burning pain on its body but he knew that the attack was working!
The Rock Python Zombie thrashed wildly as if it was trying to remove the flame, but the fire was only slowly consuming everything!
Within moments, the creature's struggles ceased, and it collapsed to the ground!
Thud!
Most of its body was already reduced to smoldering ash.

The cavern fell silent as they realized what had just happened.
In a single strike, Shane was able to kill the Rock Python Zombie! Furthermore, this Zombie was stronger than the ones they'd encountered before, so it was probably a Rock Python Leader or a variant that they weren't aware of.
Swain, Maurice, and Iseult looked at Shane with a mix of relief and admiration.
After some time, Swain smiled and expressed his gratitude.
"Well done, Shane… You saved us all."
"I just did what I am commissioned to do," Shane replied as he turned his attention to the reward options. He didn't think too much and selected the Instant Experience Potions.
After all, he also felt that leveling up was getting too slow…
'Thankfully, the Boss Raid is coming… Leveling up in that event is faster than facing Zombie Waves.' Shane mused as he recalled his Boss Raid experience from the two other Apocalypses.
If he does it right and completes all the hidden missions in the Boss Raid, it wouldn't be impossible to level up ten times or more.
"Shane, you can loot the Zombie since you killed it." Iseult said as she went on her way to look at the Silver Treasure Chest.
Shane nodded at this and completed the loot.
