Chapter 21: Creating A New Weapon (3/5)
Zeref was a name in this world that was swallowed in fear. The man known as Zeref was from hundreds of years in the past, he was a dark mage who dared to tamper with life and death, going against the gods, leading to him being cursed with the curse of contradiction,
This curse gave him magic, which was known by a few as Ankhseram Black Magic. It is a Black Art that allows its user to produce a black miasma that kills anything it touches. This Magic is uncontrollable at times, causing it to burst out randomly, killing anything within a certain radius of the caster. However, if the user forgets the value of life, they can fully control the Magic.
This magic was so deadly, that Zeref isolated himself from the world, and bit by bit he was beginning to lose the value of life. Adding the fact it made him almost unkillable, and only magic of a capable level of power could do the task of killing him, he was fated to be an evil dark mage. His body could be turned to ashes, he would just heal. His soul could be destroyed, he would just heal. This was a curse, that needed an extremely powerful level of magical power if they wished to end him.
As soon as Zeref found himself back in his empire, he grew uneasy, scared that he would kill everyone there. As expected, the power of death covered his body before it shot forth, forcing everyone to step backward, avoiding that power.
"Let me deal with that curse," I said while placing my palm on Zeref's head, and what followed was me just pulling the curse right out of his source.
'Is this curse stronger?' I thought while looking at the power of death in my palm. I didn't remember anything related to conceptual abilities in this world... Oh, if you haven't noticed, this was the world of Fairy Tail, an anime I watched in my past life.
'Oh, I remember the MC used flames to burn away time... Since the gods were never really touched upon, I guess this might make sense that the gods could affect the source of things.' I thought while crushing the curse, already mastered everything it had to offer me with a simple look.
"You removed my curse? Thank you... but who are you?" Zeref was a man who lived for so long, and with that came a sea of knowledge. He was older than the creator of Dragon Slayer magic, and spent most of the time doing research, giving him a deep understanding of magic.
"I'm Anos Voidigoad. You're welcome, that weak curse wasn't much of a problem. Plus, I need your help with a task." I said with a smile, making Zeref look at me in confusion, but August quickly stepped forward to explain everything to him.
"You're looking for a god of destruction?" Zeref asked in confusion,
"Yes, my power is that of destruction, but mine can't be controlled. There is an upcoming battle that might force me to use it, I might end up erasing my multiverse if I can't get my hands on a god of destruction, and use them to create a sword that would help me channel my power." I said lightly,
"I see... as hard to believe as your words might be, I have no choice but to believe it hearing and seeing your power... but you said you multiverse instead of our multiverse. What did that mean?" Zeref asked,
"Well... let's say this world we are in is a book. Its own story, following its fate, and so on. I would be from another book. What I did was step from my story and enter this one." I said stunning them for some time, They were having a hard time just grasping how impressive my act was.
"I see..." Zeref said lightly, unsure what to think or believe for some time. But for now, the best move was to act as if the news was true.
"Well, the best person to help you with this task is to speak with the gods," Zeref said while looking toward the blonde-haired buxom young woman, whose eyes widened for a moment, but nodded in understanding. She was called Dimaria Yesta.
Dimaria is an accomplished user of Take Over, using the God Soul branch of this Magic to forge her body into a vessel into which she summons the very being of a deity, also shedding all the earthly objects in her immediate possession to do so. The resultant entity embodies Dimaria as well as the summoned God in a single form and possesses the powers and abilities of both.
As a descendant of the citizens of Mildian, Dimaria has been gifted with this power by the God of Time, Chronos, who was greatly revered by her ancestors. She can use this power to call Chronos to earth, offering her own body as a vessel.
I looked at her but she shook her head, as Chronos was refusing to take over her body. Zeref frowned at this, but this meant the only thing he could do was make a bridge to the realm of the gods.
"Well, I could help you. But this would take some time," Zeref said to which I shook my head.
"I don't have time, I need to leave this world to avoid unwanted problems. So, I just need the information, I can handle everything else." I said to which Zeref nodded while going on to give me pretty much everything he had. Amongst the knowledge he gave me was a map of the many realms in this world, Zeref had thought he could kill the gods in the past, but he threw that thought out of the window.
Zeref knew where the realm of the gods was... no, he had clues of where it could be, it was just that he didn't know how to reach that location.
"Well, I should get going. Thanks for the help." I said while snapping my finger, and in their minds, origin magic appeared. Yes, The One Magic, also known as The Essence of Magic, Primordial Magic, or The Magic of One, is the source of all forms of Magic that comes from the emotion of love.
I didn't give them the whole thing, just enough for them to absorb into their magic to make them pretty much gods in this world. So, after doing that I got ready to leave. But I didn't get to leave as Irene stepped forward.
"Allow me to join you, I wish to repay you..." Irene said to which Zeref sighed as he understood what was going on in Irene's head. The reason she followed him was out of thanks for helping her gain the power to take on a human form, but with her gaining the power to be human... well, she wanted to repay me.
"Are you sure?" I asked while throwing a look towards Zeref, and seeing as Zeref nodded, not minding, I didn't mind having her join me.
"Yes, I know I might not be of much help in your battle against the gods... but I want to do something to repay you." She said lightly, to which I smiled while nodding towards her.
"Let us all join you, us 13 joining you should be helpful," Zeref said to which I paused for a moment, before nodding. I cast a spell, allowing them all to fly into the sky with me, and land upon Great Red who had been waiting. Of course, not all of them came, as the kingdom still needed someone to run it. So, a total of 11 people came, with a guy with glasses staying behind... Ajeel hasn't returned yet.
"Go Great Red," I called out, and with a roar, Great Red wings opened wide before he flapped his wings, entering a portal that led to the void between realms in this world. I had to cast a spell to allow the others to survive in this world, and also talk.
"This is the void between worlds. In my world, it's called the dimensional gap, I don't know if it has a different name here." I said while the 11 people looked around like children. They couldn't help but look at the orb behind them, which was their realm, but there was nothing else, just a world of colors.
"Keep going straight ahead," I said to Great Red, this dimensional gap was far bigger than the one back home. With a flash, Great Red shot forth, rocketing through the dimensional gap at a speed that was growing faster and faster with every passing second, since his strength was growing, feeding off the dreams of those in this dimension.
"There!" I said while I saw a marble up ahead. It was small, and it was hard for Irene and the others to measure the distance between themselves and it. Before we could reach it, I went on to cast a spell on the 11, putting them in a deep slumber that allowed them to quickly bring out the full potential of the gift I gave them... they woke up just as we arrived. That slumber had them in their mind where time would be billions of times faster. However, the passage of time they experienced wasn't sensed by them, they simply thought I put them to sleep and they woke up the next moment stronger than ever before.
"That's the realm of the gods," I said drawing the attention of the group who wanted to feel the growth of their power. They looked up, and they were shocked at the sight of a marble that was now too large for words. This was a whole realm, endless in size.
"They are getting ready for battle... interesting," I said lightly, as there was an army awaiting me. Looks like they noticed my existence when I stepped into this world, and they went on full alert, waiting for a battle that might break out...
