Honkai: You're telling me this difficulty is from Honkai Impact 3?!

Chapter 28: Fu Hua, the Immortal Who Persists in Training

"Himeko!!" Seeing Himeko appear, Theresa was like a little bunny with frizzy fur.

She jumped and rushed to Himeko's side, reaching up to try to snatch the beer from her hand. "I've told you so many times!! Your injured body cannot have alcohol!!"

Himeko casually held the beer over her head, making Theresa miss. "Theresa, it's the apocalypse. If we don't drink these beers, are we just going to watch them expire? I'd rather destroy them early to avoid waste."

"How could you waste it on that!" Theresa tried to reach the beer can twice but failed. She looked up at Himeko with puffed cheeks.

Hm, from this angle something is blocking my vision… She doesn't know how to take care of her body, that darn cannonball woman!!

"And you don't have to worry about my body. We have medicine, right? I'll recover soon." Himeko laughed, and then turned her gaze towards Shu and the others, and the medicine in Shu's hands.

Shu scratched his head and said awkwardly, "Um… The medicine we brought… it has cephalosporin."

Himeko paused, the beer can frozen in mid-air.

Taking this chance, Theresa jumped and snatched the beer can from Himeko. She took a deep breath and downed the other half of the beer in one go, then crushed the empty can and sent it into a nearby trash can with pinpoint accuracy.

"See, hic, your treatment, hic, can't have alcohol! Your beer, hic, is all gone! Hic! Now go back to your bed, hic, and rest! And receive your treatment!" Perhaps she drank it too quickly. Although Theresa looked imposing, paired with her small figure and the constant hiccups, Shu couldn't feel any sense of intimidation.

She was just a little, cute, and angry grown-up.

Himeko carefully looked at the medicine Shu had laid out, and sighed, accepting the fact that she probably wouldn't be drinking for a while.

She liked enjoyment. She also didn't want to waste. And she wanted to live. So, she had to grit her teeth and persist for a while. After her body was better, she could be as free as a bird, and have all the alcohol she wanted!

"Fu Hua, I'll leave it to you." Theresa led the group to an inner room. Himeko reluctantly lay down in bed, allowing Fu Hua to "control" her.

Shu didn't follow. Instead, he looked through the shelves and picked out some ingredients to prepare dinner.

It seemed that Theresa and Himeko had only arrived at the convenience store today. The ingredients that had to be prepared were untouched. Therefore, the ingredients were still plentiful. Only the fresh produce was getting less and less. If this continued, everyone would become unhealthy.

But this was a special time, and there was nothing they could do. Shu could only hope that the military base outside the city would have enough land to plant vegetables to balance their nutrition.

After he gathered all the ingredients and decided what to cook, Chef Shu started his work.

There was no other way… If Bronya were here, Shu would have probably asked her to help, because she would be more suitable for that kind of task. But right now, he couldn't possibly ask the injured Fu Hua or Himeko to help him, right?

And Theresa? Let's forget about that. Not only did Theresa have a curse from her family, but she barely came up to the stove. Shu didn't even want to think about asking for her help.

And Kiana…

["Hehe, Shu actually dared to put me together with the food!" Shu: Oh no, my elixir.jpg]

Logically, Shu refused to see that white-haired troublemaker in the kitchen.

After a busy day, Chef Shu finally put the last dish on the table as the others came out of Himeko's room. They finally had a hot meal, and they immediately felt like most of their exhaustion had been swept away. All that was left was to take a hot shower and have a good night's sleep to recover.

They did shower. They used a boiler to heat the water. After all this time, Shu was finally able to take a hot shower. He couldn't help but marvel at it, and at the same time, he almost cried.

Damn it, I'm probably one of the most pathetic transmigrators. I can't eat hot meals, can't get good sleep, and could only take a shower now…

This is pathetic, painful, bitter, and mournful…

Shu lay down on the sofa, tossed and turned for a while. Then he finally fell asleep due to exhaustion.

...[She lay there...]

Here it is again… This dream again… What does it represent? Is it because of how pathetic and incompetent I was during that escape that I keep having it?

Shu stood there, not moving. Even his legs were starting to hurt.

Until the light shone behind him, did Shu turn his head.

The scene in front of him seemed to have become more complete. It was no longer just the unreachable platform and white void.

Though white was still the main color, he could see pillars, the ground, and the rails that were extending everywhere.

Wait, rails? Why are there rails…

Shu suddenly opened his eyes. It was already morning, and the sunlight was harshly shining on his face.

After a moment, the dream quickly disappeared from his mind, leaving only a shallow impression, making Shu more puzzled.

"Good morning, Shu." Fu Hua leaned on a long wooden pole and waved to Shu from the balcony. "Did I wake you?"

"Ah, no, you didn't." Shu came to his senses and shook his head, pressing his forehead as he got up from the sofa. "But you, your injury still hasn't recovered, shouldn't you rest a bit?"

"The morning sets the tone for the day. Even if my body is hurt, I shouldn't neglect my training routine." Fu Hua shook her head as she looked at the sun rising over the city.

"Training?" Shu was a bit surprised. "Can your leg even support you for training? Sometimes resting is more important."

"If I follow my usual training routine, I might overdo it." Fu Hua nodded in agreement, before grabbing the long pole. "So I decided to practice some weapon skills. It will help me consolidate my knowledge and train my body."

Shu was speechless. He now suspected that Fu Hua might suddenly explode into a mass of muscles that would rip her clothes to shreds.

He understood Fu Hua's obsession with training, but he couldn't accept it for himself. He wasn't the type to endure hardship. For those long periods of exercise, he knew that he could only do it in his dreams…

Wait, wasn't I starting to get tired of running in my dreams lately?
