Hogwarts.

"It seems the time for dancing has begun!" While a few students were chatting, Professor Slughorn commented excitedly from the side of the tables where Snape and the others were seated.

"Let's go!" A student quickly grabbed her boyfriend, lifting him from the table as she led him to the dance floor.

More and more couples began leaving the tables around the area, heading to the floor as the music shifted to a more thematic tune, and couples from all houses started joining in.

"..." Snape merely observed silently, while two girls were watching him intensely from behind. Clarissa wasn't the type of girl to openly make advances on Snape; she expected him to act like a traditional man and take the initiative, though there was still a glimmer of expectation in her eyes.

The same couldn't be said for Lucinda, who was giving Snape an intense look, almost ready to invite him herself, but Snape didn't seem to notice. At that moment, someone approached the table.

"Pandora!" A teenager from the Ravenclaw table came over to where they were sitting, heading straight for Pandora.

Snape recognized him. He was quite peculiar, and Pandora had interacted with him before when they were together. The boy seemed romantically interested in Pandora, but she behaved in a neutral and friendly way, not reciprocating his feelings.

"Xenophilius, how are you?" she asked with a friendly smile.

"I was wondering if you would like to dance with me, Pandora?" he asked awkwardly. Xenophilius Lovegood was considered strange by most students.

"Sorry, I can't..." Pandora said calmly, though her eyes briefly glanced at Snape.

'Is she interested in him too?!' All the girls at the table noticed, observing Pandora's behavior as she turned down her housemate.

"Hm... all right then... I'll dance for the both of us." The boy, slightly disoriented, smiled before leaving the table and heading to the dance floor alone, surprising everyone as he began dancing by himself.

"Is your friend okay?" Clarissa asked Pandora, raising an eyebrow as she watched the boy dancing in such an odd manner.

"Yes... he's always like this. He's a good friend." She responded calmly and returned her attention to Snape, who wasn't paying much attention as he still seemed focused on provoking Bellatrix.

"Do you know how to dance, Bellatrix?" he asked, intrigued, wanting to irritate her.

"What do you mean by that? I'm a noble from a great family, of course, I know how," she responded in a sharp tone.

"Great, how about we make a deal?" Snape suddenly suggested.

"What do you mean by that?" She looked at him, raising an eyebrow.

"If you dance with me, and I manage to make us stand out on the floor, I want you to help me with something related to your grandmother," Snape said, while Bellatrix raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean by that? Do you think my grandmother would even notice someone like you?" she said, raising her eyebrow again.

"As the matriarch of the Black family, she has things that interest me. I was going to talk to Narcissa, but since I found you here tonight, I'm interested in trying through you instead," he said.

"Why would I do that? Just so everyone can see me dancing with a mudblood?" she said harshly.

"Fine then... I'll go talk to Narcissa," Snape said in the end, without any resentment.

"And do you really think our grandmother will listen to her? She's not going to pay attention to Narcissa, as she's been rather disappointed with my sister's ideas lately. I'm the only one who could get anything done," she said with a triumphant smile.

"Well, so be it. I'll find another way, through another family. I don't care," Snape said. "After all, there are many other ways to get what I want."

However, suddenly, Narcissa spoke again: "I want something in return as well," she said with some hesitation, as if she were struggling to say something like that.

"And what would that be?" Snape asked, curious.

"I want you to teach me how to fight like you're doing with the brat," she said, referring to Pandora, which made Snape raise an eyebrow.

"You're hardly going to manage that. After all, it's the end of the year, and you're leaving school," he said.

"Yes, I'm talking about after school. But you can do it too. I know you can leave this school every weekend for some reason. So, I want you to visit my house at least once a week," she said.

Snape reflected for a moment and then responded, "Well, I suppose that's fair. All right then, let's do it. But I'll only do it for one year." He stood up and took her hand, helping her to her feet, despite his usual grumpy expression.

Meanwhile, the other girls watched the scene, especially Lucinda and Clarissa, who were shocked to see Snape actually going to dance with Bellatrix Black.

"Pay attention, half-blood, I won't forgive you if you embarrass us. Got it? I swear I'll kill you if that happens," she threatened.

Snape turned to her as they reached the dance floor. "Relax, let's see if you can keep up with me..." he murmured, while placing his hand on her waist and lifting her hand to shoulder height.

He pulled Bellatrix closer to him in a more intimate way, and though the girl seemed shy and a bit surprised by the situation, she said nothing.

"Just follow my lead," Snape said with a smile, taking the first steps from side to side, ignoring the comments around them.

And so, the dance began. "Hey... is this really happening?!" At one of the tables, a Slytherin student looked surprised, making a comment, while Lucius Malfoy, next to him, also watched the scene in astonishment.

Everything seemed rather ordinary until, suddenly, Bellatrix let out a small cry of surprise. Snape had quickly pulled her, making her spin and return to him with a shocked expression.

"We're just getting started," Snape said, and he wasted no time, distinguishing their pace from the other couples dancing more slowly.

Since he wanted to stand out, he did so quickly, making perfect movements while keeping his partner moving fast as he led her body. This soon started to attract everyone's attention, as they all turned to see what they were doing.

Snape continued leading Bellatrix, and she seemed quite surprised, trying to keep up with him. Deep down, she told herself that she didn't want to lose to him, so she quickly tried to follow his movements and take the initiative. What initially seemed like a simple dance turned into a battle between two young people of the opposite sex.

"You bastard, you're taking advantage of me," Bellatrix growled as she twirled and returned for the next sequence of steps.

"And you're enjoying it," Severus smiled, his tone mocking her.

They continued like this for a while without slowing down, until the music finally ended. Even the couples around them had stopped to watch, while the two paid no attention to their surroundings, focusing only on each other.

They finally stopped, with Snape leaving her so close that their noses nearly touched. "Well, it seems Lady Bellatrix managed to keep up with me in the end," Snape said with a smile.

"And it seems you dance decently for a half-blood," she mocked.

"Well, that was unexpected," Professor Dumbledore appeared at this moment, clapping for their performance, and the other couples did the same, looking at them with admiration.

"But the night is just beginning. Let's continue with our music," Slughorn spoke again, snapping his fingers as another melody, with a slower rhythm, began to play. Once again, the couples who had been watching the two returned to dancing. Snape raised Bellatrix's hand to face height.

"We can finish with a slow song," he said as, at a gentle pace, they began to move like the other couples. Even Bellatrix rested her chin on Snape's shoulder. She may have been a tall girl, but not taller than Snape, and there they remained, calm, without further jokes or mockery, just dancing to the rhythm of the music until it ended.

The music finally stopped, but Bellatrix didn't seem to want to leave. And Severus didn't complain either as a third song started playing. They danced once more. Finally, she seemed satisfied.

"We'll talk about our agreements later. Now I'm going back to sit," she said with her usual arrogant tone, and Snape shrugged.

Severus accompanied her back, but as soon as they reached the table, someone approached him.

"That's not fair!" Lucinda appeared, grabbing his arm. "Let's dance a bit? I want to too!!" she said, already pulling him.

Snape just sighed, following her to the floor, dancing with the girl at a slow pace for a while until the song ended, and they danced two more songs, the floor completely full by then.

When they returned to the table, it didn't seem like it would be Snape's last dance. Bellatrix just huffed, Clarissa had a shy look, and Pandora was smiling.

"Hey, Snape, aren't you going to invite Clarissa? She wants to dance with you but is too shy to ask," Pandora suddenly said, as Clarissa looked at her, shocked and accusingly.

"Hm...? Sure, why not?" He decided, since everyone else was getting their turn, he might as well take them all at once.

Severus approached her and extended his hand. "Would you like to dance with me?" he asked, and she only nodded with a smile, standing up carefully. Snape accompanied her to the dance floor, dancing with Clarissa through a few songs amid the other couples. The girl was a bit more timid, avoiding eye contact with him, and kept her face pressed against Snape's chest.

After they returned to the table, Severus turned his attention to Pandora, who had stayed there the entire time. "And now you're next," Snape said, taking Pandora by the hand. She nodded with a big smile as they headed to the dance floor.

"Snape, can you do those moves you did with Bellatrix?" she asked, eager to try something new.

Pandora was a little clumsy in her dancing, but Snape quickly adjusted, helping her keep up. Once again, they delivered an impressive performance, finishing a moment later as Pandora stepped back from him.

"I don't want to hold you up anymore..." she said with a smile and left. Snape stood there, slightly surprised, before turning to leave as well. That's when he saw someone approaching him, grabbing him by the arms and positioning him as if they were going to dance.

He could have avoided it, but he was truly surprised by who was doing it. A moment later, he looked at the girl with red hair, who wasn't even looking at him, her head bowed as she started to dance.

He just sighed before moving his feet to follow her lead, silently observing Lily Evans. The girl didn't look at him, seemingly a bit drunk, keeping her head down to avoid meeting his gaze.
