Gohan inherited Frieza's empire, or rather he took it over after defeating the evil emperor.

And his soldiers had to submit to their new leader if they did not want to be destroyed. Almost everyone could do it.

Other soldiers sympathetic to Frieza like Kiwi refused to obey Gohan and died because of it.

Gohan knew that he had to put an end to every trace of Frieza, so that no one would resurrect him and avoid facing him again.

And he knew the location of the Heeters, a group also related to Frieza, so he sent a group of strong soldiers to kill them all.

"If they are here it is because my soldiers failed, next time I will do it" Gohan thought annoyed.

"Your soldiers failed to defeat us at that time, now you will have to pay for it and more," said Elec, smiling uncertainly.

Elec wanted to control all intergalactic trade, which was currently in the hands of Gohan. That's why he had to defeat him.

"What makes you think they're on my level?" Gohan asked with a arrogant smile.

"Gas, you know," Elec simply mentioned.

And suddenly the so-called Gas appeared in front of Gohan, at a speed that surprised him.

Gas was going to punch him but suddenly Gohan jumped and stood up on top of a hill.

The Heata created a chain that was going to trap Gohan's leg, but he immediately jumped.

Gas smiled cruelly and, taking advantage of the fact that Gohan was still in the air, he created a bubble of water around him, in order to drown him.

"It's over," Elec murmured, very satisfied.

But yet, there was Gohan smiling.

'I can breathe in space, so depriving myself of oxygen will be in vain' Gohan thought mockingly.

Gohan concentrated his energy and distorted the water around him creating spikes of ice.

Then, he started throwing stakes at Gas.

Gas created a shield to protect himself from the stakes and creating a spear he threw it at Gohan.

The spear pierced Gohan's stomach leaving Gas with a satisfying smile.

"How did you fall for the oldest trick in the universe?" Gohan's voice sounded on the hill.

Everyone turned then and saw the boy smiling. Gohan became more serious and went into the final state, "The games are over."

'He's more powerful than I thought,' Elec thought.

Gas increased his Ki making the area tremble and he flew towards Gohan at a high speed.

They both clashed their fists in an instant, producing waves that were felt throughout the planet. "Fighting ppr here is very risky"

"Are you holding back so as not to destroy the planet? Pathetic" Gas asked with a frown.

"It's pathetic to be called Gas," Gohan mocked.

"Screw you!" An angry Gas prepared to attack but in the blink of an eye Gohan appeared.

"Ultimate Yin-Yang Blast" Gohan whispered attacking.

A blue sphere instantly hit Gas's abdomen, creating a strong explosion in the region. And Elec just gritted his teeth.

Then the smoke from the explosion dissipated, there was Gas completely good. Gohan smiled.

"This won't be easy"

"Wait for me Vegeta!" Goku exclaimed.

"You're too slow insect!" Vegeta shouted.

They immediately crossed a white line, and both put down the heavy anvil they were holding. They fell to the ground exhausted.

"I congratulate you, it took you a minute less compared to yesterday" Whis commented smiling.

"Tsk, when can we use god Ki like Gohan?" Vegeta asked seriously.

"Patience Vegeta, you must first understand the essence of god energy to be able to use it"

"Your are not on the wrong path, your bodies are getting used to the presence of god Ki but it takes more than that" Whis responded smiling.

"But how did Gohan do it?" Goku asked.

"Let's say that someone introduced god essence into Gohan's spirit to save him"

"And what Gohan did is imbue that essence with god Ki, taking advantage of the energy of the Kaioshin realm," the angel responded to this.

Whis was intrigued by this, it seemed like something premeditated on Gohan's part to achieve god Ki. As if Gohan had planned it.

"Could we do the same as Gohan?" Goku asked with his hand on his chin.

"No, because you don't have god essence," Whis clarified, "That's why you are going to follow another method."

Beyond the god essence, one method was a ritual and another was a more forced one, that was what Whis was going for.

"And why don't you send them to that place once and for all?" Beerus asked, appearing at the scene.

"Lord Beerus" Goku murmured looking at the god.

"I guess that'll be for the best" Whis shrugged and shook his staff at him.

Then Goku and Vegeta entered a spiral.

"W-what is this place?" Vegeta asked confused. They were in a very dense space.

"Damn, I can't move!" Goku exclaimed.

"But this is not increased gravity, it seems like a different sensation to me" Vegeta looked at himself.

"The thing is that it feels very dense, not the body but the spirit itself" Goku commented.

"It's true," Vegeta murmured, realizing.

"Maybe we should mediate" Goku closed his eyes.

"I won't do that nonsense!" the prince grumbled.

Meanwhile, Whis looked at the actions of both of them on the staff. "Oh, Goku has already noticed that."

"But he has a very big step left," said Whis.

"That Son Goku is a great fool but he is also a great genius" Beerus sharpened his gaze.

"It seems that more and more candidates are emerging to replace you hoho" Whis mocked.

"Don't talk nonsense! The only one worthy of being Hakaishin is not on this planet right now" Beerus responded sternly.

"Gohan?" Whis looked at his scepter again.

Whis was surprised to see that Gohan was fighting. And then he received a notification.

"Oh, but it's Bulma" Whis smiled.

"Hello Whis! Are Goku and Vegeta with you?" Bulma asked with a slightly anxious face.

"Well, they are training right now, why do you ask?" Whis noticed his anxiety when he saw her frown.

"Someone is looking for them, a certain Granolah"
