I’m the Sub Male Lead in Romance Fantasy, but I Don’t Like the Female Lead

chapter 15

15 – Class begins

“Looking for a hobby. How?”

“Mikhail, have you decided which club you want to join?”

“Clubs? Not yet I don’t even know what kind of club there is.”

Hestia knew that, she laughed. Then she took something of hers out of her bag.

“This is a club promotion booklet. She’s in the hallway, so I brought one.”

Hestia set her booklet on her table and spread it wide.

“Find out if there is a club you like.”

If I were going to start a club, I would like to join the same club as Hestia. I asked her

“What club are you thinking of?”

“Me? I’m thinking of a travel club.”

Travel? I looked at the booklet Hestia brought. Before long, I was able to find a travel club.

“I found it. Travel club. Take a trip to relieve the stress of a week of study. Uh, but can I go on a trip on Friday?”

“I applied for an overnight stay at the dormitory in advance, and then stayed until the weekend.”

“Wow. I think it will be very popular.”

There are few people who do not like to travel. Besides, you can get out of the academy on Friday morning. Even if you listen to the rough explanation, the number of applicants seems to be crowded.

“Right. That’s why they said they’re going to interview separately.”

Quite appetizing. What I like most is the fact that I can go on a trip every week with Hestia.

“Should I do that too?”

“It’s good to think a little more carefully. Once you join a club, you cannot change it during the semester.”

“Aside from this, nothing really stands out. And don’t you think it would be fun to travel together?”

“If both pass.”

“But now that I think about it, would you have tried to join the club alone if I hadn’t asked?”

Come to think of it, it’s disgusting. Tried to disappear for the weekend without saying anything to me? It’s so real

“Are you sad?”

“A little bit.”

“Hmm? Did you really think so?”

“Wasn’t it?”

Hestia puffed out her cheeks as if she was pouting.

“Hey, I didn’t even know what clubs were until I brought the brochure today. Was I that unreliable?”

“Uh, sorry.”

I just apologized without a long word. If you think about it for a bit, you can understand it, but I doubted it for nothing.

“All right. It was a situation where you could think that way.”

Hestia smiled and then she just forgave her.

“Then, starting today, my hobby will be travel?”

“What are you going to do if you fail the interview? Just in case you don’t know, I’ll look at other clubs in advance.”

She started looking into other clubs as well.

“How about this?”

“Ballet? Are you kidding?”

“Well, I would like to see it.”

She trembled as she imagined me in a tutu.

“Because you don’t like it?”

My search for a hobby and club has come to an end. In the end, she concluded that there was nothing like a travel club.

The conversation was interrupted for a moment. I took advantage of this opportunity to catch a serious atmosphere. I intend to ask what Cordelia asked me to ask myself earlier. I have no intention of procrastinating.

“Hestia, can I ask a question?”

“What is it?”

“Why did you accept it?”

“What?”

“Me.”

She frowned as if she didn’t understand the meaning of my question. Then she opened her mouth.

“I told you earlier. Because I doubted it at first. So I asked him to take this class as well.”

“No, besides classes. Wasn’t it hard because of me? But I don’t think he forgave it too easily.”

“You ask that?”

Hestia put on a puzzled expression at my question.

“Is it a little like that?”

“Yeah, it’s kind of like that.”

Hestia pondered for a while before opening her mouth.

“Um, because he’s handsome?”

“Really?”

“Really? Well, there is a very little reason for that.”

“Then what?”

Hestia paused at my urging before she started talking.

“Well, I don’t remember Mikhail, but when he was very young. So, we met once before we were even engaged.”

This is a completely new story.

“The Mikhail I saw then was a good kid with a good laugh.”

She caught her breath for a moment.

“Seeing her changed, she reminded me of Mikhail. So she really said, let me trust you one last time.”

In the end, she forgave me because of Mikhail in the past. I couldn’t open my mouth because of the strange feeling of guilt. What would she think of me if she found out that the Mikhail she saw then and the me I am now are completely different people.

“Why are you silent? You made such an embarrassing noise.”

“Hestia. What would you do if the me you knew and the me now were different?”

“Yes? What are you talking about?”

“Just. How would you feel if they were two different people?”

A quiet voice leaked out of Hestia’s mouth. She wrinkled her fine brow. She said after thinking about it for quite a long time.

“It doesn’t really matter. Anyway, what I accepted is you now. Of course, it’s true that it reminds me of the past, but… , But nothing would have happened if you hadn’t changed.”

Wow, there really is no such thing as an angel. I admired her answer.

Still, I couldn’t shake off a feeling of embarrassment. Hearing stories like this makes me realize that I have stolen someone’s life.

“Good job everyone. You can go to lunch now.”

As soon as it was lunchtime, the teacher who had been reading quietly in front of me got up and went out of the classroom. She walked away without looking back. There is no separate tuition fee Lupine.

Other students stand up one by one. I woke up too.

“Hestia, let’s go eat.”

“Okay. Oh, how about eating with Miss Cordelia?”

I readily accepted. Perhaps, without us, Cordelia would have eaten alone.

“Miss Cordelia! Eat together.”

When I came out of the classroom, Cordelia was standing there. She must have thought she would eat with us too.

“How was the class?”

Cordelia asked as she came over to us. Since it is an unusual subject, I am curious about the contents of the class.

“There was no class at all. Did you just let them sit and chat?”

“Really? What else are you doing?”

“Yes. He said that conversation is important, so he really let them talk to each other for an hour and a half.”

“I envy you. I thought I was going crazy because the class was so boring.”

Cordelia grunted. To be honest, I would be envious if I said that a class is just peeling nogari for an hour and a half.

“Are you going to the student cafeteria?”

“Yes, it is the first day.”

Hestia responded positively to my question. Since there is plenty of time for lunch, it doesn’t matter if you eat at a restaurant outside the academy. However, since it was the first day, we decided to just go to the student cafeteria.

The cafeteria was located in the basement of the main academy building. The area near the entrance to the restaurant was crowded with no room to step.

“There are too many people?”

“Everyone must have had the same thoughts as us.”

“Should we just go out and eat?”

Cordelia suggested it as if she was tired of the crowds.

“Are there any shops you would recommend?”

“No! Do you know of any shops in Hestia?”

“Neither do I.”

Such helpless friends. I desperately need the list of restaurants near the academy that the Grand Duchess told me about. I regret why I heard it in one ear and let it out in the other. It’s all about eating and living.

While the three of us were hesitating, unable to do this or that, we heard a familiar voice.

“Oh, Mikhail! You can see everything here.”

“Kek. Lily von Adamas.”

Cordelia put on an expression that she saw something she couldn’t. Hestia also doesn’t have a very bright expression. It seems that Lily is awkward.

“What are you doing?”

“Did you eat?”

Lily smiled softly. It seems like he keeps flirting with me. Turning her head, she looked at Hestia. Looking at her stern expression, she seems not to be mistaken.

“Where is His Highness Wilhelm?”

“Do I really need to talk about the other guy?”

Her approach becomes more and more explicit. It’s not unusual for her to stick close and look up and talk to her. How many men had perished in her fishing grounds?

“Not yet. I was thinking of doing it from now on.”

“Good! Would you like to eat together then?”

Lily asked as if she couldn’t see the two people behind me.

“No, I think it will be difficult because I have a party.”

“Then join them and eat together. I know of a very good shop.”

“Because it’s not for me to decide alone.”

Lily is crying on my iron wall. Her tears are welling up

“Mikhail could… , Am I a burden?”

“Yes. It’s burdensome.”

“It was really bad.”

I’m not even sure. Do you know how to deceive me? I answered sternly. In response to her response, she let go of her tears and smiled. It was also acting.

“How about eating together, you two?”

I asked Hestia and Cordelia, not me, if Lily had changed her strategy.

“No. It seems a little difficult.”

Hestia politely refused, and Cordelia turned her head away without pretending to hear.

Lily thought for a moment and then trotted towards Hestia and whispered in her ear.

“… Young lady. Jealousy … the woman… Take it?”

What are you talking about? Jealousy? I couldn’t hear it because it was a whisper.

Hestia’s expression distorted at Lily’s words. Then she whispered something to Cordelia. The two of them chatted in whispers for a while, and eventually accepted Lily’s proposal with a very bad expression.

“Okay. If you want that much, let’s eat together.”

“Okay. Let me guide you. You will not be disappointed.”

Lily jumped up and down in her place, and then she came over to me and clung to me.

“Let’s go. Mikhail.”

“Why are you like this, really?”

I shuddered and shook Lily. The moment she clung to her, she felt a flush on her face, and she was taken aback. When she treats her, her body becomes honest. She probably wouldn’t have been caught by Hestia.

I glanced at Hestia. Although she looks upset, she doesn’t seem to have caught on to the rudeness she just had.

“Hmm? No. Then let’s go.”

She tilted her head as if she was suspicious of my attitude, and then took the lead in guiding us.

I sneakily asked Hestia.

“Are you really okay?”

“Mikhail, do men really hate jealous women?”

Hestia answered my question with a trembling voice. It seems like she scratched Hestia because maybe Lily was jealous.

“No. I think you’d hate it more if you weren’t jealous.”

“Really?”

Her expression suddenly came to life as if she had been in a bad mood at my answer.

“Yes. So it’s okay if you don’t get swayed by Lady Adamas. Am I that unreliable?”

“Whoops. Little bit?”

Hestia replied with a smile.

“But how did you convince Lady Deneb?”

“I decided to formally warn you while eating. Stop clinging to her fiancé.”

She laughed savagely. Oh my gosh, the jealousy is so cute.

Lily turned around as if she didn’t like the way we were talking to each other.

“Please don’t bully me and come quickly.”

She puffed out her cheeks. I thought it was cute without even realizing it, and my conscience stabbed me. No matter how much you think about it, she is a woman who needs to keep her distance as much as possible.

I followed her to the restaurant, keeping my distance.
