In The Primal Chaos, My identity Was Exposed By The Heavens

Chapter 66

Chapter 66: Yuanshi, Stealing Chickens Can’t Lose Money!

Laozi’s proof of Primordial Unity shook the heavens, marking a significant event destined to be known by countless living beings throughout eternity. However, there was one who remained unmoved by this spectacle – the Heavenly Lord. He keenly sensed that Laozi’s proof of Primordial Unity was based on eighteen cosmic laws. In contrast, the Nine Layers of the Primordial Grand Supreme Heaven contained billions of multiverses, each carrying the essence of ninety-nine or eighty-one cosmic laws. This vast difference in the number of laws made it clear that Laozi’s cultivation level fell short of the Heavenly Lord’s, who resided in the third heaven of Primordial Unity.

The gap between these realms was like an insurmountable moat. Even though Laozi’s achievements were remarkable, he couldn’t compare to the Heavenly Lord’s mastery of the sword and his invisible presence in the Primordial Unity realm. Only individuals like Ye Xiu and Tao Ancestor Hongjun could potentially challenge the Heavenly Lord’s supremacy. After entering the Primordial Unity realm, Laozi clearly understood the immense gap between himself and the Heavenly Lord. Although he had briefly felt elated at his moment of sanctification, he realized that his path of the Three Corpse Extermination was not on par with the Heavenly Lord’s Sword Tao.

Furthermore, being relatively young and having faced division and turmoil, the human race had a weak foundation and scarce luck. The portion of the universe that fell into Laozi’s hands was meager. Thus, the gap in their realms was justifiable. Laozi understood that this situation was in line with the warning given by Tao Ancestor Hongjun not to rush the path to enlightenment when the human race’s foundation was unstable.

With these thoughts in mind, Laozi heaved a deep sigh and consoled himself, “Regardless of the circumstances… at least I have finally attained the realization of Primordial Unity.”

At this moment, Yuanshi, who was below, couldn’t contain his inner excitement after witnessing Laozi’s proof of the Tao. He was eager to attempt, but Yuanshi’s mission of spreading the teachings was not yet fully mature, making it an inappropriate time to establish a new faith and preach.

Laozi sensed his intentions and transmitted a message, saying, “Second brother, it’s not the right time for you now…”

But Yuanshi, who was highly concerned about his reputation, especially compared to Laozi, the renowned Sword Saint who had already proven the Tao, paid little heed to the advice. Fueled by a strong desire to prove the Tao, Yuanshi declared the creation of his teaching, the “Clarification Teachings,” and made a solemn vow. As he spoke, the Heavenly Dao responded, gathering immense merit clouds and golden pillars, enveloping Yuanshi. His declaration, backed by the impressive display of the Heavenly Dao, shook the prehistoric world and left countless beings astounded.

However, as Yuanshi absorbed the Heavenly Tao’s merit power, he realized something was amiss. His merit pillar was smaller and contained less power compared to Laozi’s. Even Nuwa, when proving the Tao, had evoked stronger and denser Heavenly Tao merit.

With mixed thoughts, Yuanshi’s cultivation barely reached the first level of Primordial Unity, far weaker than he had anticipated. He was left baffled and couldn’t find happiness in his accomplishment. Laozi, witnessing this, sighed in resignation.

At the same time, within the Purple Heaven Palace, Hongjun sensed the situation and shook his head in exasperation, muttering, “Idiot!” It was a clear expression of frustration and disappointment in Yuanshi’s hasty actions.
