"I'm glad you liked it. I did my best to replenish our energy, haha." Kurono had said that with the intention that Shizune would understand what he meant, and seeing the embarrassed attitude she had taken, he knew that he had succeeded.

"Y-Yes, I feel full of energy, hehe… By the way, what time is it?"

"I think a little over noon, do you have something to do, Shizune-chan?"

"No, it's nothing like that, it's just..." Analyzing all that in her head, Shizune turned a little red as she asked Kurono a question. "Kurono-kun, h-how long were we...? You know…"

Understanding that question as best he could, Kurono answered not very directly.

"Well... I could have sworn I could see a bit of light coming through the window before we fell asleep..." Shizune seemed to have gone completely silent, but the reality was that panic was appearing inside her at the thought of what happened, but before she could get more nervous, Kurono gently took her hand. "Don't worry, Shizune-chan. Maybe we exaggerated a bit, but that doesn't matter at the moment."

A simple friendly smile was on Kurono's face after he said that and it was enough for Shizune to calm down. It was true that they had done all that, but it was what their heart dictated, there was no impediment, and thinking about it carefully, it was something very precious to them.

"You're right, Kurono-kun. I felt very happy at that moment and I could really feel your feelings for me. I don't regret anything."

"Yes, and... I really enjoyed it, actually... It's been a bit hard not to think about it all morning." Shizune knew what Kurono's words meant, and despite her blush, it didn't bother her at all. She was also aware of everything and had not forgotten that feeling.

Both had remained silent looking at each other, they shouldn't say anything to know what the other was thinking, but before something happened, the sound of a cell phone ringing was the first thing heard.

"Excuse me, Shizune-chan. It's a call from work."

"Don't worry, it's probably something important." Kurono apologized once more and answered the call while Shizune sat on the side of the table keeping quiet as best she could.

"Hello… Yes, I left everything ready for these days and put… What? But I was supposed to… Yes, I understand… Sigh… I knew something like this would happen… Yes, tell everyone to prepare, I'll be there soon." Shizune couldn't hide her curiosity from Kurono after hearing it.

"Something happened?"

"Yes... I'm sorry, Shizune-chan. I had taken care of all the pending to be able to spend these days accompanying you and that you were not alone, but it seems that an unforeseen event arose that I have to attend to urgently."

"Don't worry, Kurono-kun. You should go to work if they really need you."

"I know, but I feel bad for doing this to you."

"Don't say that, I'm sure I'll find something to entertain myself with, I'd like to investigate the place a bit, hehe."

"I'm really sorry, it shouldn't take more than a few hours before I'll be back, but if anything happens, don't hesitate to call me. I'll be here as fast as I can if it happens." Hearing those words, Kurono started on his way not without first explaining to Shizune any security measure that he could think of while she kept telling him that it would be fine, to finally say goodbye with a simple and warm kiss.

Shizune had entered the house after losing Kurono's figure in the distance and made sure to lock the door for safety. She was completely alone but seeing the whole place and how much she could do, she began to fully explore it.

Time passed and Shizune had already seen several photos that Kurono had in addition to cleaning the room where everything had happened the night before. She was now relaxing on the couch while she was reading a book. She seemed to be at complete peace, but the sound of her cell phone ringing from her caught her attention.

"Kurono-kun?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm not Kurono-san. It's been less than a day and you've already forgotten about your dear daughter, it seems that Kurono-san has kept you very distracted."

"Oh, Rena. I forgot to call you, tell me, did you arrive safely? How is the place?" Those and more questions came from Shizune once she realized that the call belonged to Rena, and she was quick to answer them.

"We're fine, nothing strange happened, the only thing was that Akio got a little dizzy on the train, but nothing more. We arrived at the inn in the morning and I really have to thank Kurono-san again, the place is amazing, I have never felt so relaxed in my life,"

"Hehe, I'm so glad you're enjoying it."

"Yes, by the way, are you enjoying your stay with Kurono-san? I'm surely interrupting your time alone."

"Don't worry, Kurono-kun isn't here right now."

"Eh? Did he leave you alone, when I come back he will have to listen to me a little."

"W-What do you mean? Nothing happened, haha." Rena had asked that question simply to tease Shizune, but hearing Shizune's nervous voice as well as the feeling that she was hiding something, was enough for her to be seized by curiosity.

"Mom, I know you better than anyone and I know when you're lying and I can't ignore that anymore, so don't even think about hanging up, I want to hear something interesting." Heard her daughter's insistent voice that was already normal for her, Shizune thought of any excuse she could think of, but she knew she couldn't hide anything anymore.

"Well… Something did happen…"

"Well, I guess that something happened between you and Kurono-san, right?" Rena was obviously playing with her mother, she didn't know she was really hiding it, but she liked to make her nervous.

"Yes, but... First, I want to ask you something... Something personal." Rena thought that Shizune wanted to change the subject of the conversation, but noticing her slightly serious voice, she put aside the jokes.

"Sure, ask anything, Mom." Having Rena's approval, Shizune started to think about what words to say correctly, but she couldn't help but get a little nervous.

"You see… You and Akio…?"

"Yes?"

"You and Akio are still having sex, right?" The question had come out of nowhere and she took Rena by surprise, but not knowing the real reason for it, she answered as best she could even though it was also somewhat embarrassing.

"Ah… Yes, of course not too often because of the baby, although the doctor explained that there would be no problem with it, so yes, we continue to do it, but… Why the question?"

"Well... Normally... How long do you do it?" The question had become more strange for Rena, she really didn't understand the reason for the questions, but since she was her mother, she wasn't going to lie to her.

"Hmm... I think we usually do it for an hour or less... Could you tell me why you're making me that ask, Mom?" Shizune had clearly heard everything Rena said. She herself was aware of what she was saying and had her memories of the past, but she wanted to reaffirm it even more.

"The thing is that... Kurono-kun and I..." Rena was waiting for what Shizune was going to say, but joining all the points that she had up to that moment, an idea came to her mind.
