Jitsu -A different story-

"I also say the same, but… Could I ask what you are doing here?" A great confusion could be seen on Akio's face, he really had no idea why Kurono had suddenly appeared at his house, but he only needed to pay attention to the voice coming from the kitchen to begin to understand everything.

"What was that yelling about…? Ah, it was you Akio, you shouldn't make so much noise, you'll make our guest uncomfortable." Rena rushed to investigate the reason for the yelling she had heard, but once she saw her husband, she was able to deduce everything.

"Guest?"

"Didn't anything bad happen? Oh, I see you already met Kurono-san, Akio." Shizune had also appeared with some curiosity, but she was relieved that it didn't seem like there was an accident or something.

A silence took over the room, Kurono had remained silent at the same time that all eyes were on Akio at that moment since it was noticeable that there was a strange look on him until he spoke again.

"Actually, I already know Kurosawa-san."

"Huh? Did you already know each other?" Hearing Akio's words, Shizune asked that question to check that she hadn't misheard, and Kurono's nod was enough for her to be convinced.

"It seems that there are some things to talk about, let's wait until dinner to do it more comfortably." Rena had interfered at the right time, there were really several things to clarify, but no one objected to the idea and time continued to pass until it was time for dinner.

"Kurono-san..." Rena and Shizune were trying to digest what they just heard, and Akio had to respond to them.

"Yes, Kurosawa-san is the president of the company where I work." Just by saying that, a huge face of surprise appeared on both women's faces as their gaze was directed towards Kurono.

"Akio-kun is telling the truth, it was also a surprise to learn that he was Rena-san's husband, and by the way, I would appreciate it if you would call me Kurono, Akio-kun. You don't need to act formally right now, haha." Kurono wanted that topic to pass by since it didn't seem too incredible to him, besides he wanted to enjoy the dinner that was in front of him.

"I wouldn't dare, Kurosawa-san, I really owe you a lot for the opportunity you gave me. Also, when I heard Mother talk about that person who saved her, I had the idea that it could have been you, but I thought I was just confusing things and, since I was right, I would like to thank you for what you did." The scene where Kurono received thanks for his previous act had been shown again, but he had already gotten used to it.

"No, I insist, I would like to spend a relaxing moment, I just accepted Shizune-san's invitation for dinner and I don't want you to feel uncomfortable because of what you just found out."

"Well, it really was a sudden thing, but I don't see anything wrong with it, actually it seems like an amazing coincidence to me." Rena had said her own thoughts, and even though the person in front of her was actually her husband's boss, she didn't feel like it was necessary to act any differently than she normally would.

"You said you work in a small company, but I think this is something different Kurono-san." Shizune looked directly at Kurono with a somewhat serious look as Kurono felt a little guilty for lying.

"I couldn't say it's a small company either, Kurosawa-san was the one who created it by himself, you must have seen my face when I learned that the person who interviewed me was the company president himself, haha... No, I'm serious, I felt very scared." The words that Akio had just said were enough for the atmosphere to relax, laughter came from all those present and it seemed that the above did not matter too much at the same time that they realized that already it was time to try the variety of dishes on the table. "Would you like something to drink, Kurosawa-san?"

"A little water would be nice. I don't often drink alcohol if you're wondering..."

"Hahaha, so I think you're just like Mom, Kurono-san. You should have seen her in the new year and how happy she acted after drinking a cup of sake."

"Don't remind me of that, you said you would delete the video you recorded!"

"Heh, I have it as a bribe." The initial surprise ended after the dinner started, even though Akio had a respectful attitude towards Kurono, he didn't think too much about it either when he too began to enjoy the atmosphere. The laughter came from time to time thanks to Rena's jokes in addition to her mother's embarrassing secrets, which made the same joyful feeling stay in the room as well as embarrassing Shizune even more as everyone tasted the dishes on the table.

"And what do you think of the food, Kurono-san?" Rena asked curiously.

"Everything is incredibly delicious, you and Shizune-san are excellent at cooking, this tastes a thousand times better than what I can prepare on my own." Kurono wasn't lying, the explosion of flavors he enjoyed throughout the night was praiseworthy, and the texture of the fish accompanied by the vegetables, rice, and soup were perfectly combined, so most of the time he was silent as he let those flavors dance in his mouth.

"Well, that praise should go especially to mom, I just helped her cut and gather the ingredients."

"Is that so? Then Shizune-san is really talented."

"Please, stop joking with me." Shizune hadn't ignored all that conversation, she was really very curious to know what Kurono thought, and although she had been a little embarrassed by the praise, inside she felt happy.

The night had run its course, and Kurono was grateful for the delicious dinner, he had even offered to help clean, but Shizune insisted that it was not necessary, now they were both just outside the apartment since Kurono had said goodbye to both Rena and Akio. There was a silence between the two as neither knew what to say, but it didn't last long.

"Thanks for the invitation, Shizune-san, I enjoyed it."

"I'm glad you say that, I know it's not enough to repay you for your help, but I wanted you to know that I feel very grateful."

"Well... Since you say that, there's something you can do for me."

"What is?" Shizune was curious about what Kurono was going to tell her, and what came out of him, rather than surprising her, made a smile appear on her face.

"Here, this is my number, today I really enjoyed the talk we had and I wouldn't mind repeating it again, of course, if you don't mind."

"No, not at all, I was actually thinking of asking you for a way to contact you, I also had a nice time today, and yes, I would like to talk with you some other time."

"Haha, it seems we thought the same."

"Yeah, it's funny if you think about it, hehe." That little scene that was covered at night accompanied by the laughter of both seemed to be the beginning of something quite peculiar, but, above all, special for each of them, although they did not know it yet.
