Jujutsu Kaisen: I am Sasuke Uchiha

Chapter 35: Finally meeting

The next day....

The once lively neighborhood had been torn apart, due to the intense battle. Buildings had been destroyed and razed to the ground, but the faint lingering whiffs of cursed energy depicted an otherworldly intervention being human understanding in the battle.

No matter how much the onlookers and victims of the battle explained, the police refused to take their accounts into witness. After all, it was certainly absurd to believe that such damage was caused by a man fighting a humanoid beast. This wasn't some fairytale. It was real life.

The most accurate conclusion the police could come up with was that the destruction had been caused by a terrorist group.

Yellow tapes surrounded the area of destruction and multiple armed police men prevented any form of entry, therefore, bystanders could only observe from afar.

After about 30 minutes, a small black mini van pulled up behind the parked police cars, and multiple figures walked out briskly.

Dressed in the standard Jujutsu uniforms, they walked with confidence, especially the two youths that led them.

The first was a white haired bespectacled youth that sipped a soda, while his partner was a long haired handsome youth that followed behind quietly.

"Cease. This is an active crime scene. Unauthorized entry is prohibited!"

One buff police man with a moustache and a cigar walked out with a frown on his face when he noticed the style the intruders were dressed in.

"We're from Jujutsu High. We were sent here to observe the crime scene and report back anything unusual. Is there a problem officer?"

Suguru walked out and handed out a signed piece of paper to the officer to received it and read through with a snort.

Even after reading through the letter, he was reluctant to allow them in. And the handsome uncaring face of the white haired youth irritated him to the core without reason.

"Our higher ups have solemnly ordered to prevent unauthorised access. We can't allow you in. Step back!"

The officer spoke with a slight smirk and placed his hand on his holster, ready to fire.

"I told you didn't I, Suguru. These idiots don't listen to reason."

Gojo laughed, drank the remaining soda in the can, and powered up the Limitless.

The next moment, under the stunned gazes of the every single police officer, the can slowly suspended and twisted itself spirally, before it blasted outwards into the distance.

"Humph!! Parlor tricks. Try doing that to a bullet!!"

The officer took out his gun, and just like him, his subordinates followed as well, pointing their guns towards the Jujutsu sorcerers.

"Try me then. I've been itching for some action lately. But I promise you, you're going to resemble that soda can by the time I'm done with you.."

Satoru took off his glasses, his crystal sapphire eyes glaring right towards the officer with fearlessness.

"Calm down Satoru. Officer....Kurosaki, we do not want any conflict with you. Our organization believes this occurrence could be supernatural that is why we were sent to investigate. We promise not to tamper with any evidence, a simple quick observation would be enough for us."

"Humph! Should be. Tamper with any evidence, and I'll send y'all back to your organisation riddled with bullets!"

And just like always, Suguru diffused the situation with a few polite words, which caused Satoru to snort coldly.

Suguru shook his head as he looked at Satoru swagger in coldly, bumping shoulders with the officer fearlessly..He seemed pissed.

They walked into the crime scene and got to work, forming groups of two and scattering to investigate on their own.

And as usual, Satoru and Suguru banded together to investigate on their own.

"You okay? You look --pissed."

Suguru sparked a conversation, while Satoru merely took off his glasses and looked around him, observing his surroundings closely.

"I'm fine.."

He waved his hand dismissively, and then looked towards a certain direction, observing closely, the remnants of the tendrils of energy that lingered in the surroundings.

"There's remnants of a weird type of cursed energy. There was a battle here, but it wasn't no cursed spirit.."

Satoru examined further and gave his conclusion, as Suguru listened carefully.

"What do you mean weird?"

He asked in confusion.

"It looks like cursed energy but it's giving off a while different feeling and vibe. It's also not reverse cursed energy. But it feels natural, as if attuned to nature itself. Im trying to describe the best I can.."

Satoru scratched his head and replied, but after looking in a certain direction, he paused for a moment and smirked.

"Up for a fight?"

Satoru suddenly stretched his waist, confusing Suguru for a moment.

"What?"

"No time to explain now. Let's go!"

Grabbing onto his friend's arm, Satoru powered up the Limitless and used blue to disappear from where they stood almost instatenously.

Meanwhile...

About a 15 minute walk away from the crime scene, a figure lay beside a dumpster in an alleyway, unconscious and half naked. He looked so bloodied and dirtied that the only indicator of him being alive was the periodic rising and fall of his thoracic region.

After about a few minutes, his eyes suddenly snapped open and he arose with urgency, jumping to his feet almost instantly and getting into a martial arts stance as if his body was still on auto pilot.

His eyes took a quick look around his surroundings for a moment, and he calmed himself and leaned back against the wall, taking in huge breaths.

"Toji.."

Memories flooded back, and he smiled unconsciously, now remembering why he was in this place. But still, finding himself unconscious here at the moment gave him flashbacks of his first day in this world.

Still, he wondered how he was perfectly fine after getting packed up by Toji once more.

The battle had been closed for sure, but it shouldn't have been. Toji should not have been able to win considering the enormous power boosts he had at the time.

Stretching out his palm, his cursed energy materialized, and slowly began to churn, turning into an evem darker shade of purple. He felt attuned to the environment around him, but obviously this was not the place to test out the effects of the pseudo sage energy he had...

He summoned barrels of water from his ninja backpack and washed off the dirt, blood and grime from his body quickly before strapping on a purple long necked zipped short sleeve, his usual dark pants, the purple robe around his waist fastened by the purple ropes and his Shinobi sandals.

After stretching for a bit, he finally noticed the black piece of straight wood that lay beside the dumpster, and his lips cracked into a smile.

Reaching out, he picked the Kusanagi, summoned a rag and gently cleaned the sheath solemnly followed by the blade itself, before sheathing it onto his lower back as usual.

Holding a rice dumpling in his hand that he munched on, he lazily stretched his back once more, about to leave, when he sensed two cursed energy signatures behind him that caused him to turn around solemnly.

The next instant, two figures materialized a couple of meters away from him in a burst of cursed energy, and an intense stare down ensued.

Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto. The rumoured strongest sorcerers of the modern world now both stood face to face with the second strongest mercenary for the first time...
