My Destined Wife

Chapter 48: Chapter 47: Parenting Troubles

In the middle of the night, the originally quiet Kwon family was disrupted by the babies' cries. Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon woke up from their sleep in a hurry and rushed to the nursery.

"Babies, what's wrong?" Yu Sha asked anxiously while gently picking up one of the babies, trying to comfort him.

Kwon Jung-hoon was also checking on the other baby's condition. The baby's little face was flushed, and his little hands were waving continuously.

"Is there something wrong with him?" Kwon Jung-hoon said with a frown.

They carefully examined the babies' bodies but didn't find any obvious abnormalities. However, the babies still wouldn't stop crying.

"Could they be hungry?" Yu Sha guessed and quickly prepared to make formula milk.

However, after feeding them the milk, the babies still didn't stop crying. Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon were extremely worried. They tried various methods, such as changing diapers, patting gently, and rocking, but none of them worked.

"Honey, what should we do? The babies have never cried like this before," Yu Sha said, on the verge of crying.

Kwon Jung-hoon also looked anxious. "Don't worry. Let's think of another way. Maybe we should call the doctor."

Just as they were about to make the call, Kwang Na and Jung-yeol came over after hearing the noise.

"Brother, sister-in-law, what's going on?" Jung-yeol asked.

Yu Sha briefly explained the situation. Kwang Na thought for a moment and said, "Could it be that the babies have flatulence in their stomachs? I've heard of such a situation before."

Kwon Jung-hoon quickly asked, "Then what should we do?"

Kwang Na said, "You can try massaging the babies' abdomens, gently rubbing them in a clockwise direction."

Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon carefully massaged the babies' abdomens according to Kwang Na's suggestion. During the massage, the babies' cries gradually subsided.

"It seems to be working," Yu Sha said in surprise.

After some efforts, the babies finally stopped crying and fell sound asleep in Yu Sha's and Kwon Jung-hoon's arms.

Only then did Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon breathe a sigh of relief, but their faces were still full of worry.

"We should pay more attention to the babies' physical conditions in the future. This really scared me," Yu Sha said.

Kwon Jung-hoon nodded in agreement. "Yes, we should learn more parenting knowledge and not be in such a fluster again."

The next day, Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon decided to take the babies to the hospital for a comprehensive examination to ensure their health.

In the hospital, they waited anxiously for the examination results. The doctor carefully examined the babies' bodies, and all the indicators were fairly normal.

"The babies might have some gastrointestinal discomfort. You should pay attention to the feeding methods and the time intervals at ordinary times," the doctor said.

Yu Sha listened carefully to the doctor's advice and nodded from time to time.

After returning home, Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon began to re-plan the babies' diet and daily schedule. They made a detailed feeding schedule, fed the babies strictly according to the time, and paid attention to observing their eating situations.

However, new problems emerged. The babies didn't seem to adapt to the new schedule. They were still full of energy when it was time to go to bed and cried, refusing to fall asleep.

"Babies, it's time to go to bed," Yu Sha coaxed softly, but the babies simply ignored her.

Kwon Jung-hoon also helped from the side. "Baby, be good. Close your eyes and go to sleep."

But the babies still did as they pleased, which made Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon feel quite helpless.

"Honey, what should we do? If the babies don't sleep, we can't rest either," Yu Sha said wearily.

Kwon Jung-hoon thought for a moment and said, "Why don't we tell the babies a story? Maybe they'll fall asleep while listening."

So, Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon began to tell the babies stories. They told classic fairy tales like "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Snow White", attracting the babies' attention with gentle voices and vivid expressions.

Accompanied by the stories, the babies finally gradually felt sleepy and their eyelids started to droop.

"Good night, babies," Yu Sha gently put the babies in the crib and covered them with quilts.

Watching the babies fall asleep quietly, Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon wearily returned to their own room.

"Parenting is really not an easy thing. New problems pop up every day," Yu Sha said with emotion.

Kwon Jung-hoon hugged Yu Sha and said, "Don't worry. Let's work hard together. We'll surely be able to take good care of the babies."

In the following days, Yu Sha and Kwon Jung-hoon kept learning and exploring parenting methods, striving to deal with various parenting troubles, hoping to provide the babies with a healthy and happy growth environment.
