Chapter 6: Chapter 6 claiming
As Diana and her girls were about to exit the classroom, their teacher walked in, his voice thundering, "Are you going to be the teacher, Diana?" The girls quickly snapped out of their daze and hurriedly returned to their seats, remaining quiet for the next 35 minutes.
As the class came to an end, Diana seethed with rage, her mind consumed by thoughts of the girl who was getting close to "her man."
At lunchtime, Diana and her friends headed to the lunchroom, intent on eating quickly so they could attend to their "important work."
Meanwhile, Aria turned to Helena and said with a smile, "Helena, we should head out, right?" Helena, who was enduring stomach discomfort, replied, "Yeah, I'm just feeling a little sick; I think I'll skip the meal for today."
Aria convinced Helena to eat, saying, "No way, we should go and eat, then I'll take you to the school infirmary to get some medicine. You eat, then take the medicine."
In the canteen, Aria collected food and joined Helena at their table. "Here, eat this," Aria said softly, offering Helena the meal. Helena tried some food while Aria ate hers in a hurry, eager to take Helena to the infirmary.
At another table, Diana and her friends sat, observing Aria and Helena. One of Diana's friends spotted Aria and whispered, "There she is, Diana, the girl."
Diana's eyes narrowed as she looked at Aria, her frown not due to Aria trying to steal her man, but because Aria was more beautiful than her. Diana knew she couldn't compete with Aria in terms of beauty.
After staring at Aria for over 20 seconds, Diana finally stood up, walked elegantly to Aria's table, and took a seat, surrounded by her friends. "Excuse me," Aria said, tilting her head in question.
Diana's voice was laced with jealousy. "How dare you be my love rival?" Aria smiled, confused. "Excuse me, your love rival? What do you mean? I'm not even getting what you're saying."
Diana's eyes flashed with anger. "How dare you say you don't get it? Are you trying to fool around with me? I know you understand what I'm saying clearly."
Aria's confusion deepened. "Wait, I really don't get you. Why are you saying I'm your love rival in the first place? Look, I'm not even in love with anyone, so tell me, how can I be your love rival?"
Diana inched closer, her eyes locked on Aria's. "You think I don't know what you're doing with him? Or you think you won't be seen with him, and it won't reach my ears?"
Aria's irritation grew. "Can you please tell me who you're talking about? Who is this boy you're calling yours, and I supposedly love?" Aria's left eyebrow rose.
Helena, who had been observing the exchange, tried to make sense of the situation. She knew most of the rich girls in school were infatuated with the school bad boy, Ace Alexander, but she couldn't connect Ace and Aria, as they didn't even know each other.
Diana proudly declared, her voice loud enough for everyone to hear, "ACE ALEXANDER! He's the one I'm talking about, none other than him. Now, did you get it? He's mine, mine! And you cannot compete against me because I have already won, even before you started your game of love. Do you understand, you bitch?" Diana's index finger jabbed at Aria's forehead, pushing her head backward.
Helena's voice rose in defense of Aria. "What's wrong with you, girl? You should know your stand."
Aria's eyes turned icy cold as she snapped at Diana.
