Chapter Seven:The Black Cobra

I had gotten ready for the Saturday lessons and I was prepared. Ovie had promised to pick me up so I waited for him to arrive. He came not quite long in his father's car. His father drove both of us to school for the extra lessons.

"How are you?"he asked me.

"I'm fine, what about you?" I answered and asked.

"I'm fine Naagin. I told Praise to come today. I'm sure he is going to come for the lesson" he said plainly.

Immediately,I heard Praise's name,I became sober. Why did that jerk have to come? Oh God. I hope he doesn't try to rape me again.

Thank God Ovie came to pick me up.

"Good thing, there is an extra lesson. I'm tired of sitting at home. It's boring. How do you check the lesson?"I asked.

"It's good instead of sitting at home idle" he said.

We were both quiet till we got to school. The teacher had already arrived. Now Praise wouldn't try to rape me again.

I and Ovie walked to our class and more of the our classmates came in.

Praise finally walked into the class, he looked happy. I wonder what makes him happy today. Even though I know Praise is madly in love with me, I do not have anything to feel for him, just friendship.

After lesson, I couldn't find Ovie. Praise immediately told me he knew where Ovie was, so I followed him. I didn't want to follow him, but reluctantly followed him to the back of the school. We kept on walking till we got to an uncompleted building. I immediately had a bad feeling about following Praise to the building, but I had to because I couldn't find Ovie.

Suddenly, before we could get to the building, Praise covered my mouth and dragged me into the building. I fought back but it was useless.

He nailed me to the wall, tearing my clothes apart opening my BREASTS. I fought back but he was already having his way.

Just like a super hero, Ovie came from nowhere and punched Praise. Praise fell to the ground. Ovie rushed over to me and held me, helping me to stand up.

Praise stood up with a bleeding mouth brought out a knife and before I knew what was happening, stabbed Ovie. Ovie held the wound as he opened his eyes in terror. Praise covered his mouth as he dropped the knife. He had killed someone. He couldn't believe what jealousy had forced him to do. He moved back and immediately jumped out of the building through the window.

Ovie was loosing blood and he was dying. I cried as I could not hold back tears. I wished it was all a nightmare.

"Don't die Ovie, I love you so much. Please my love"I said crying.

"I won't die"he kept saying and he kissed me passionately. It was sweet and awesome, but time was not by my side.

Just then, his hands left my hold and he died. His heart had stopped beating. I could not even feel his breath. I let out a loud cry, but I was interrupted.

A black Cobra approached me. It came closer and closer.

"Don't be scared little girl"it said.

I kept moving backwards, the more I moved, the more it came closer.

"I can help you save him"it said.

"Can you?" I asked.

"Yes I can, just take this and swallow it" it said.

I was scared. A chill cold ran through my spine. The snake brought out a golden seed and a black seed from its mouth.

"Take the black seed and give it to him,then swallow the golden seed" it said.

I muttered some prayers, picked the black seed and put it in Ovie's mouth, he then swallowed it. His wound healed and I felt his breath come back, but he was unconscious.

I took the golden seed and swallowed it. Suddenly, I felt supernatural powers flow through me.

Not long when,lots of snakes of different colors and kinds entered me. I was given their powers. The black snake disappeared afterwards.
