Chapter 79: CHAPTER 79
---
The dawn over Uzushiogakure was anything but peaceful.
Thick smoke darkened the skies, mixing with the salty sea breeze, while the thunder of distant explosions echoed like the heartbeat of war itself.
Waves crashed relentlessly against the rocky shores, mirroring the assault about to unfold on the sacred Uzumaki homeland.
On the village's eastern wall, Ashina Uzumaki stood tall, his crimson hair blowing in the wind.
His gaze burned with fierce determination as he surveyed the advancing fleets of Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Kirigakure.
Despite the overwhelming odds, there was no fear in his sharp, battle-worn eyes.
"Uzushiogakure will not fall," he declared firmly to his assembled forces.
"Our ancestors forged this village through blood and seals. Today, we honor their legacy by defending it with everything we have!"
His son, Kazuki Uzumaki, stepped forward, clad in traditional Uzumaki battle armor inscribed with intricate sealing patterns. His hands clenched with restrained anger, but his voice was steady.
"Father," he said grimly, "they come in overwhelming numbers... but they underestimate what it means to face the Uzumaki. We will show them why our clan is feared."
Ashina nodded approvingly. "Activate the Seal Barrier Array! Ready the explosive tag barrages!"
---
With swift, practiced movements, teams of sealing masters rushed to the edges of the village.
Dozens of shinobi wove intricate hand signs, channeling chakra into the defensive formations laid across Uzushiogakure's perimeter.
A brilliant golden dome of sealing energy erupted from the ground, crackling with protective runes that pulsed with ancient power.
From the enemy fleets, Onoki, Raikage A, and the Third Mizukage observed the defensive maneuver with grim faces.
"An expected move," Onoki muttered. "But seals can be broken."
Raikage A cracked his knuckles. "Then we break them."
The Mizukage smirked coldly. "Let's see how long their so-called 'unbreakable' defenses last."
---
BOOM!
Without warning, an earsplitting noice shook the shores as hundreds of hidden explosive tags detonated across the battlefield.
Pillars of flame surged upward, consuming whole platoons of unsuspecting shinobi.
Dozens of enemy ships shattered under the force, sending charred remains sinking into the merciless ocean depths.
Amid the chaos, enemy sensory squads scrambled to adapt.
"Deploy chakra-suppressing barriers!" barked an Iwa commander. "Find and dismantle their seal triggers!"
Teams of specialists from all three villages surged forward, deflecting incoming barrages with Earth-Style barriers, Water Walls, and Lightning Disruptors.
Though many were killed, their relentless efforts began to pay off.
---
Inside the village, Ashina's expression darkened as he sensed a shift in the barrier's protective aura.
"Something's wrong," he muttered. His Mind's Eye of Kagura expanded, scanning the entire battlefield. His face hardened.
"Traitors..."
Before he could react further, a deafening explosion tore through the eastern section of the barrier.
Sealing formulas burned out in rapid succession, leaving a massive breach.
Kazuki cursed under his breath. "They must've learned the exact seal structure somehow!"
Ashina clenched his fists. "Prepare for direct combat! We hold the line here!"
---
The breach gave way to a flood of enemy forces. Uzumaki warriors surged forward, meeting them with ferocious determination and release of countless explosive tags as they bombarded the first wave surging forward.
Shouts, explosions, and the clash of blades filled the air, turning the battlefield into a chaotic storm of chakra-fueled combat.
From the breach emerged three imposing figures: Raikage A, Onoki, and the Third Mizukage, each exuding deadly killing intent.
Ashina stepped forward, his battle aura igniting like a wildfire. "I'll hold Raikage A," he ordered. "Kazuki, take Onoki! Elders, defend the command post!"
Kazuki smirked confidently. "Consider that old midget crushed!"
The two sides surged toward each other with murderous intent.
---
Ashina vs. Raikage A
Lightning crackled across Raikage A's body as he barreled toward Ashina like a living thunderstorm.
"You can't stop me!" he roared.
Ashina formed swift hand seals, summoning massive chains forged from pure chakra. "Adamantine Sealing Chains: Titan Binding Formation!"
The golden chains shot forward, aiming to ensnare the Raikage's limbs, but with lightning-enhanced reflexes, he narrowly avoided the binding attack, but even that slight touch absorbed the chakra and grazes Raikage A.
Their collision sent shockwaves through the battlefield, showing the prowess of Warring states era ninjas.
---
Kazuki vs. Onoki
Meanwhile, Kazuki engaged Onoki with fierce intensity. Dust Release chakra crackled in the old Tsuchikage's hands, but Kazuki wasn't fazed.
"Dust Release: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu!" Onoki declared, unleashing a beam of annihilation.
With a snarl, Kazuki countered. "Seal Art: Reflecting Mirage Wall!"
A glowing barrier flared to life, absorbing and deflecting the deadly attack just in time. Onoki's eyes widened in brief surprise but quickly turned calculating.
"Clever... but you won't last long," the Tsuchikage hissed.
Kazuki smirked. "We'll see who breaks first, old man."
He himself was a warrior of Warring states era fighting side by side with his father, sister and his brother-in-law.
Even more so he inherited the vast amount of chakra surpassing the Kage-level shinobi from his father just like his sister.
Fighting a war of attrition was a fools dream with someone like Uzumaki and Senju clans, having possessed 10 times normal ninja level chakra.
Onoki Knowing that intensified his attacks to take care of Kazuki soon.
---
On the southern flank, the Third Mizukage advanced through the chaos with practiced ruthlessness.
His Water-Style jutsu drowned squads of Uzumaki defenders in relentless waves.
Suddenly, a blur of crimson surged toward him.
"Water Release: Crimson Surge Blade!"
A deadly arc of chakra-infused water cleaved through his advancing forces, forcing him to dodge.
Emerging from the chaos was a young woman with fiery red hair, her eyes burning with untamed ferocity.
Her aura pulsed with sealing energy interwoven with Water Release mastery.
The Third Mizukage narrowed his eyes. "Who... are you? I don't recall anyone with such mastery of water release in Uzumaki."
"Rias Uzumaki," she replied coldly. "And your death."
With that declaration, she launched another devastating strike, forcing the Mizukage to fully engage her in combat.
Seeing the elegance with with Rias performed one handed water jutsus, Mizukage was amazed.
Mizukage spoke "Your mastery of water release is splendid matching my own, tell me who taught you?"
"You don't deserve to know, just die already!" she replied ferociously and soon launched another attack.
"Very well, once I defeat you, I will tame you to be my bitch and then ... hehehe! I will know everything from your mouth." Mizukage voiced his desires to her.
But as soon as he spoke, he was stunned paralysis, as if a mountain was suddenly placed on him and lightning surge occurring in his nervous system.
As he was facing the Uzumaki village, soon he saw two blue colour eyes shaped light coming from a cliff.
