Naruto’s Dump Station

Chapter 15 - Mysterious Smile

Chapter 15: Mysterious Smile

Kiba Village, Ninja School.

The Third Naruto smiled softly. “Yamaki… This child is also given to you!”

As the words fell, the Third Generation Naruto looked at Jiraiya and Tsunade. “Gather on time tomorrow; this time, Orochimaru will lead the team!” With that, the Third Generation Naruto slowly walked out of the principal’s office, leaving the remaining people to watch him go.

As soon as Naruto left, the atmosphere shifted.

Jiraiya immediately complained. “The old man is biased! It’s Orochimaru leading the team again. I’m powerful too!”

Tsunade ignored Jiraiya’s complaints. Of the three, Orochimaru was the most intelligent and capable of making the best arrangements. While Orochimaru could be ruthless, he was sometimes reliable.

Ruofeng didn’t care about the issue and merely looked at Jiraiya, saying, “Strange… How does the Third Naruto know about me? What exactly did you say?”

While some ninjas in Kiba Village might feel excited about their names being known to the Third Naruto, Ruofeng didn’t feel that way. For him, keeping a low profile and getting rich was the way to go.

Jiraiya rubbed his head and smiled. “It’s not like I recovered too quickly and was asked a few questions by the old man.”

Tsunade looked at Ruo Feng then. “It was a fast recovery. I know Jiraiya’s injury well. With such rapid recovery, even with precious medicinal herbs, it should have taken at least half a month. Yet you recovered in just three days. That’s too fast… Is there some special medical ninjutsu or herbs in your family?”

Ruo Feng hastily shook his head. “No… It’s just the herbs my grandpa used to collect. Maybe the year’s too high, so the effect is better!”

Ruo Feng didn’t want to reveal the magical beast meat he had, as it was vital for his cultivation. If Tsunade found out about it, she might try to take it for her research. As for food and drink, he couldn’t care less; after all, a few tons of magical beast meat wasn’t something Ruofeng could consume alone.

Tsunade wore a playful smile. “Oh… I see now.”

She then turned to Yamaki and said, “Yamaki, take good care of this child—and these two little girls. If I hear any bad language, I’ll come over to ask for advice!”

With those words, Tsunade wore a mysterious smile and turned to leave. Jiraiya had wanted to say something, but Tsunade dragged him away with a fist landing on his head, and tugged on his clothes.

With Tsunade and Jiraiya gone, only four people remained in the principal’s office: Ruofeng, Jiu Yukino, Reiko, and Yamaki.

Yamaki, the most unfortunate one, though the head of the ninja school (or vice-principal), couldn’t afford to mess with the likes of the Third Generation Naruto, Tsunade, or Jiraiya. He looked at Ruofeng, Jiu Yukino, and Reiko with helplessness. School politics was already complicated, but in this case, they were dealing with powerful connections.

Yamaki said, “You guys should complete your formalities today and then come directly to school tomorrow!”

Ruofeng smiled lightly. “Thank you, teacher!”

Then, turning to Jiu Yukino and Reiko, he said, “I’ll take you both to play!”

Ignoring Jiu Yukino’s shyness, he took her hand and ran towards the outside of the principal’s office. Reiko followed closely behind with a smile in her eyes.

The remaining Yamaki looked forlorn but only spoke once Ruofeng and the others had completely left. “A person from the Uzumaki Zan, someone recommended by Jiraiya… It seems this class of students is destined for something extraordinary.”

His words, light yet thoughtful, hinted at something more.

Through the window, Yamaki watched as the trio left, a faint smile—if not a smirk—on his face.

Night soon fell.

Ruofeng glanced at Jiu Yukino as they parted ways. “See you tomorrow!”

“Eh… See you tomorrow!” she replied.

As the words fell, Jiu Yukino and Reiko left together. Ruofeng turned to go home, inwardly sighing with relief. “Finally, they’re gone. That feeling of being spied on just now… Someone must be watching!”

Ruo Feng muttered, a hint of displeasure in his heart. After leaving the principal’s office, he took Jiu Yukino and Reiko to explore Kiba Village. Since it was their first time there, Ruofeng had shown them around, especially since his family owned many properties, including those meant for children.

However, during their exploration, Ruofeng had felt what seemed like prying eyes. Perhaps it was because he had lived two lives and had strong spiritual power, but he could sense it.

Though he could feel the prying eyes, Ruofeng knew it was likely the protection of Kiba Village. After all, Jiu Yukino and Reiko were far from ordinary children. According to the plot, Jiu Yukino’s presence in Kiba Village meant that the First Hokage’s wife, Uzumaki Mito, would soon die, and the Nine-Tails’ seal was weakening. In the original story, Jiu Yukino had become the second Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki in Kiba.

Ruofeng knew all of this but still had questions. “The appearance of Uzumaki Jiu Yukino makes sense… But what is the relationship of this Uzumaki Reiko? Did they show up together just in case?”

Ruofeng shook his head. There were too many doubts, but matters concerning the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki were not for him to unravel. These were secrets even within Kiba Village. Even if he knew the plot, he wouldn’t dare reveal it to the public!

When a few guards appeared, Ruofeng said, “Let’s go home!”

It was getting late, and the guards at his home had arrived.

Once inside his bedroom, Ruofeng took out the jade box. He carefully placed a strand of red hair inside a picture frame to preserve it as a testimony.

Then, he reached into his pocket, preparing to place the Unicorn Exhaustion back into the jade box. He had kept it on him, fearing serious injury. After all, last time, Tsunade’s punch had left him hurt.

But as he probed into his pocket, his eyes widened. “How is it possible… I put it away! How is it missing?!”
