Oh my ! CEO is jealous !

" Oh my dear, he didn't treat you well, didn't he ! ", Grandpa Zhang pulled Xue and looked at her, " Let's go home, grandpa will feed you something tasty ". He directly took her arm in arm and hopped in the car. Leaving behind a deadpan Cheng Feng, " Really ? Why does everyone think that I treat my wife badly ? ", he didn't even discuss on the fact that his biological gramp didn't even ask about him. He completely ignored him, as if he didn't even notice him. As soon as they landed, he just took Xue away, leaving only dust for him. 

On the corner, the secretary muttered, " Well, If I had that expression h24, they would doubt my words too… ", " What ? ", " Ahaha, nothing, let's go, the old patriarch is still waiting for us !! ". He rushed over to the car, picking up as much luggage he could carry. 

Xue glanced at the slightly chubby old man sitting next to her, he was quite hospitable and kind to her. " How was the holiday ? ", " It was nice, there were tasty foods and a nice breeze ", she recalled the huge feast on seafood, especially Mrs. Yu's performance. 

" Was it ? I think we still need a bit more meat on you ", he raised a finger and lightly poked on her arm. Xue laughed, " Then I'll eat more ". He merrily laughed hearing her response. 

Xue smiled too, so it was true that every grandparent had the tendency to fatten up their grandchilds, though she didn't. But she still felt that he cared for her, somehow. This was really an unknown feeling for her, or rather unusual. Even when she was at the hospital, all the attention she received from the nurses or aunties, they were only out of pity. And if she remembered correctly, even the young doctor trainee suddenly left her one day, without saying anything. She never saw him again. For days she felt bad and couldn't even eat. Her biological parents abandoned her first, then this young guy slipped in her life like a warm ray of sunlight. Then it suddenly cut off, leaving her behind again. It hurts, so in order to not get hurt anymore, she just decided to put less stress and weight on her feelings. It indeed felt a lot better. No more pain. 

When they arrived at the cozy looking home, he leaned his arm, like a gentleman, helping her step out of the car. This gesture reminded her of her husband, he did this all the time. Did the grandpa teach him ? 

" Welcome back, was the trip smooth ? Welcome madam ", a butler greeted them, he ordered the rest to prepare the table, " I'll tell the chef, to serve the food ", " Thank you ", he thanked him and walked in with Xue. 

She glanced around, it was exactly the same as she visited it on her wedding day, except of a huge frame hung on the top of the marble fireplace. Her eyes became round, it was her wedding picture, and the timing was exactly when she blacked out on the kiss. Grandpa chuckled, seeing her reaction, " No need, to be embarrassed, you'll remember this moment later ". It was his favourite grandson's wedding, how could he not hang it up ? He even bragged to his friends for a whole week, so the whole circle knew about this. He was proud that his little one married such a beautiful wife. 

Xue looked at the silly expression on his face, he was surely thinking about something interesting, as if recalling something, he snapped out of his imagination. " Right, little Xue, when are you giving this old man, a chubby baby to hold ? ", Xue's entire face went completely red. An arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her back, " Grandad, you should stop ", Cheng Feng stepped in, although it was quite amusing to see her ripe face. " You stinking brat, you know that this old me feared that you'd die a virgin till your death ?? ", he harrumphed coldly to him. Hearing those words, he rubbed his head, the last part of the phrase was actually the truth. But of course he wouldn't say that aloud. " Stop nagging on matters that don't concern you ", " How does it not concern me ?? ", " You're not closely involved aren't you ? ". The old man took a deep breath, his face was almost purple, " You… damn brat ! ". As to stop the bickering, the butler announced, " The food is ready, set the table! ". The plates were served quickly, " Here, old master, this is your favorite meat ". Glazed pieces of meat were swimming in a brown golden broth, giving off an alluring scent. He happily picked up a big spoonful and placed it on Xue's plate, " Here you go, have a good bite! It tastes good, I can promise that ". Xue glazed at her half full plate, feeling a bit surprised by his quick switch of temperament between her and her husband. He was surely full of energy. 

She picked up a piece, the glaze was a bit sticky, it coated the piece perfectly. She bit on it, a deep fragrant savory taste greeted her. It was really tasty. She merrily finished up the rest, then she noticed that her bowl was piling up again, she glanced sideways. The old man and her husband were having a contest of who managed to fill her plate with more food. She looks at the giant hill, why did she feel she had seen this somewhere else again ?? . She coughed a bit, " I.. I can't eat .. that much.. ", only then, the two stopped their quibble. " I'll finish the rest, just eat what you want ", Cheng Feng nodded at her, while the grandpa agreed too. 

She smiled, a bit overwhelmed by the current situation, no one filled her plate, till now. Or rather no one cared about her, or enough to do that. Thinking about her past, her eyes reddened a bit. She shook the sad feeling off, it was the past, it was time to shake it off, already.
