Satisfied with the name, Franky moved to reassure them. "Alright, the escape's gonna be epic. This ship's ready to show you what it can do!"
Luffy grinned and made his way to the back of the ship, waving over to the Marine vessel where Garp stood. "Oi, Grandpa! We're really running now!" he shouted, his voice filled with excitement.
Garp, standing tall with a pile of cannonballs beside him, grinned wickedly. "What's the rush, Luffy? I've still got plenty of cannonballs left!" He reached for one and hurled it through the air with monstrous strength.
Luffy punched the cannonball effortlessly, blasting it away from the ship as if it were nothing. "We're running for real now! Until we meet again, Grandpa!" he shouted back, laughing.
As the Straw Hats prepared to leave, Luffy called out to the junkyard, "Thanks, Ice-uncle! And everyone else, too!"
On the Marine ship, Garp's expression twisted into anger. His voice boomed across the water, "You impertinent brat! Luffy, you're the son of my son! Don't take me for a fool, or you'll regret it!"
Garp didn't hold back. He grabbed a massive iron ball, easily three times the size of the Sunny, and launched it with a furious roar. The crew's eyes nearly popped out of their heads as the enormous projectile hurtled toward them.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Usopp screamed, his legs trembling as he clung to the railing.
Just then, Franky was ready. "Coup de Burst!" he shouted, slamming his fist down on the lever.
With a deafening blast, the Thousand Sunny shot into the sky, propelled by the powerful blast from the ship's engine. The massive iron ball missed them by a wide margin, crashing into the sea with a colossal splash. The crew clung to the ship as they soared through the air, leaving the Marine ship—and Garp's wrath—far behind.
The sky stretched wide before them, and the Thousand Sunny soared through it, untouchable. (Listen Row Row Fight the Power for good mood)
After a grand party celebrating Robin and Usopp's return, and officially welcoming Franky and the Thousand Sunny to the crew, the Straw Hats set sail once again for their next adventure. The festive atmosphere carried over as they left Water 7 behind, with Luffy enthusiastically chattering about the next island with Chopper and Usopp, while Sanji cooked a feast. Nami and Robin discussed navigation while Franky fine-tuned the ship, proud of his creation. Coby stood at the helm, enjoying the calm sea breeze with Zoro napping not far from him.
Meanwhile, the world buzzed with news of the Straw Hats' daring feats at Enies Lobby. Their bounties skyrocketed, and stories of their victory against the CP9 spread far and wide. From powerful pirate crews to the quiet corners of East Blue, everyone was talking about the Straw Hat Pirates.
In Cocoyashi Village, a place that held deep ties to the crew, especially Nami, the news had reached as well. Nojiko sat in her garden, the sun shining down on her as she leaned back in her chair. In her hands, she held two wanted posters—Coby's and Nami's. A soft smile played on her lips as she looked down at them proudly.
Her stomach bulged slightly, the proof to her union with Coby. The village had heard the whispers about the Straw Hats' recent victory, but for Nojiko, the news meant even more. She traced her fingers over Coby's poster, her thoughts focused on the man she come to love. She and Nami had talked about for a day and night, and both sisters had agreed—Nojiko wanted a baby, and they would share Coby to make that possible.
Nojiko chuckled at the memory. It hadn't been the most conventional arrangement, but it had worked. And now, here she was, her hand resting gently on her growing belly, thinking of the future. The village would soon know she was carrying Coby's child, and she was at peace with it.
The gentle breeze rustled through the trees as Nojiko leaned back, her gaze shifting to the distant sea. "You're going to have one hell of a father," she muttered with a small laugh, patting her stomach.
Inside the house, Genzo had just returned from the market, bringing with him the latest news from around the world. As he approached Nojiko, he couldn't help but notice the proud look on her face as she gazed at the wanted posters.
"Got something to show you," Genzo said gruffly, sitting down next to her and placing a stack of newspapers on the table. "World's talkin' 'bout your guy and Nami's crew."
Nojiko looked down at the papers, seeing bold headlines about the Straw Hats and their destruction of Enies Lobby. The image of the Thousand Sunny was plastered across the front page, with smaller pictures of Luffy, Coby, and the rest of the crew below. Genzo huffed, clearly both impressed and a bit concerned.
"Well, they sure don't do things halfway, do they?" Genzo muttered, shaking his head.
Nojiko laughed. "No, they don't. But that's why I love him," she said, tapping Coby's poster. She leaned back again, her eyes softening as she thought of the adventures yet to come for her sister and the rest of the crew. She didn't doubt that Coby would come back to her, no matter what wild stories filled the papers in the meantime.
On the Grand Line, the Straw Hats sailed smoothly on the Thousand Sunny, the wind carrying them toward their next adventure. The sun shone bright overhead, and the crew was in high spirits after their recent party. Luffy, perched on the figurehead, scanned the horizon, his eyes always searching for something new and exciting.
Suddenly, Usopp, standing at the starboard side of the ship, spotted something in the water. "Hey, there's a barrel floating out there!" he called, pointing toward the small object bobbing on the waves.
Luffy's eyes lit up with curiosity. "A treasure barrel?! Let's pull it in!"
Coby, leaning against the helm, watched the scene unfold with a raised brow. He knew what this was—a trap. The Grand Line was full of surprises, and random barrels floating in the sea were rarely just harmless. But he wasn't about to spoil the fun, so he said nothing, letting the crew do what they always did.
"Treasure?!" Nami perked up, eyes gleaming at the thought of finding something valuable.
"Alright, bring it up!" Franky called, already moving to help Sanji and Zoro pull the barrel aboard with a rope.
The crew gathered around the barrel as it was hauled onto the deck. Luffy, unable to contain his excitement, reached for the lid immediately.
"Wait!" Nami shouted, smacking Luffy's hand away. "We don't know what's inside yet! It could be dangerous."
Coby chuckled from the helm. "It's a trap," he said casually, though it was clear he wasn't too concerned. "But go ahead, open it. Let's see what happens."
Luffy grinned wide, ignoring Nami's warning. "If it's a trap, that makes it more fun!" he declared, grabbing the lid again.
With a swift motion, Luffy yanked the top off the barrel. For a split second, there was nothing. Then, without warning, fireworks shot into the sky, exploding in a colorful burst above the ship.
"Ahh! Fireworks!" Chopper exclaimed, his tiny eyes wide with awe.
The display was beautiful, but as the last firework faded, a darker realization settled over the crew.
"That's not good, is it?" Usopp muttered, backing away from the barrel nervously.
Sanji, lighting a cigarette, sighed. "Of course, it's a damn signal flare."
Coby nodded. "Yup, now we've probably attracted some unwanted attention. Let's keep our guard up."
As the crew cleaned up the remains of the barrel, a strange mist began to roll in across the sea. It thickened quickly, engulfing the Thousand Sunny in a blanket of eerie fog.
"What the hell?" Zoro muttered, his hand instinctively resting on the hilt of his sword. "Where did this come from?"
Nami checked her Log Pose, frowning. "This doesn't make sense. The weather shouldn't be changing like this out of nowhere."
