One Piece: The warrior of Justice

Chapter 43: The Silent Escape.

As the night fell over Tequila Wolf, the air grew colder, and the crew gathered in their makeshift camp near the hidden cove. The time had come to set their plan into motion. The mood was tense, each of them fully aware of the dangers that lay ahead.

Atharva stood before the crew, his face determined but grim. "We're going to save them. But we need to be careful. If we rush this, everything could go wrong. Our goal is to get everyone out quietly and safely."

Nami nodded, adjusting the cat mask over her face, her eyes scanning the surroundings. "We'll handle the logistics—taking the slaves to the ships. We need to stay organized."

Nojiko adjusted her fox mask, her eyes sharp. "We'll help clear the way. The slaves need to trust us."

Atharva turned to Lillie, who was standing by. His expression softened as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Stay with the ship, Lillie. I can't risk you getting involved in this. It's too dangerous."

Lillie nodded, though her eyes reflected the desire to help. "I'll wait for you all to return."

Atharva gave her a reassuring smile before turning to the rest of the crew. "Let's move. We don't have much time."

A Leader Among the Slaves_______________________________

As the crew made their way into the heart of the slave encampment, they observed everything carefully. The slaves were working tirelessly, many too weary to even look up. It wasn't until they reached the central area, hidden in the shadows, that they found a figure who seemed different from the rest—strong, commanding, and full of quiet resolve.

This was the leader of the slaves, a tall man with rugged features and a stern demeanor. He stood with his arms crossed, watching over the workers with a gaze that seemed to pierce through the darkness.

Atharva approached him cautiously, his voice low. "We're here to help. We've come to get you out of here."

The leader looked at Atharva with suspicion. "You think we'll believe you? Who are you to come into this place and tell us you'll free us?"

Atharva didn't flinch. He kept his voice steady, his eyes locked onto the man's. "We're not here to fool you. We're here to get you and your people to safety. You don't have to suffer any longer."

The leader narrowed his eyes, still doubtful. But when he saw the seriousness in Atharva's face, he hesitated. Slowly, he uncrossed his arms, his expression softening just slightly. "If you're really here to help, then lead the way. We have nothing left to lose."

The Escape Plan_____________________________________________

The crew moved quickly in the cover of darkness. Atharva led the group, his lion mask obscuring his face, his senses on high alert. Behind him, Nami and Nojiko guided the slaves through the shadows, ensuring they remained quiet and out of sight.

The leader of the slaves, now fully on board, led them to a hidden dock where several small, rundown ships were anchored. There were ten guards stationed around the area, their eyes vigilant, unaware of the group's approach.

Atharva turned to the leader. "Stay with the others here. I'll take care of the guards. Wait for my signal."

The leader nodded, taking a step back. Atharva felt the weight of the situation bearing down on him, but his resolve was unwavering. He knew what had to be done.

With a deep breath, Atharva activated his Observation Haki, locking onto the positions of the guards. He moved swiftly, using Shave to dart from one guard to another, striking them down with quick, precise blows to their heads, rendering them unconscious before they could react.

After neutralizing the last guard, Atharva signaled to the leader. "It's clear. Bring them to the ships."

A Growing Sense of Tension_______________________________

As the slaves boarded the small ships, there was a mix of emotions. Some were nervous, uncertain about what lay ahead. Others were more hopeful, having caught a glimpse of freedom after so many years of suffering.

The leader moved among them, encouraging them, but it was clear that many of the slaves were still afraid. Some whispered to each other, wondering if this was truly their chance at freedom, or if they were walking into yet another trap.

Nami and Nojiko helped guide the slaves to the water, ensuring they got onto the ships safely. The two women spoke softly, trying to calm the nervous workers.

"You're going to be alright," Nami reassured one of the older women. "Trust us. We'll get you to safety."

Nojiko placed a hand on the shoulder of a young boy, her expression gentle. "We won't leave you behind. Just stay calm, and we'll get through this."

As they reached the ships, some of the slaves hesitated, their fear clear in their eyes. Atharva, standing on the dock, gave a reassuring nod.

"Get on the ships, now!" he ordered, his voice firm but not unkind. "We need to leave, and we need to leave now. No more delays."

With a final, uncertain glance at the dark sky, the slaves began to board the ships. Atharva, Nami, and Nojiko helped them aboard, moving quickly to get everyone in position.

The Unexpected Threat____________________________________________

As the last of the slaves boarded the ships, Atharva relaxed, his body tense from the adrenaline. For a moment, it seemed like the escape would go without incident. But then, from the darkness of the night, three figures emerged, their silhouettes casting long shadows on the ground.

One of the figures stepped forward, his voice low but filled with authority. "Who dares to defy the World Government?" he called out, his voice dripping with menace. "Do you wish to die?"

Atharva's eyes narrowed as he sized up the figures. Not good, he thought. CP0.

Without missing a beat, Atharva turned to Nami and Nojiko. "Keep the slaves moving. I'll handle this."

The three figures stepped closer. He felt the weight of the situation, knowing that the confrontation was inevitable.

"Don't look back," Atharva ordered. "Get to the ships, and don't stop."

As the mysterious figures came into full view, Atharva's heart sank. Their white robes and masks were unmistakable. CP0, he cursed under his breath.
