From the beginning of the battle until now, the demon had used a seemingly endless array of magic, without repeating himself!

He had even used Phoenix Magic, Ice, sand, shockwaves, tremors, darkness, shadows… He was probably on par with their Emperor!

Ian hovered in the air, looking down at the six remaining members of the Spriggan 12.

They had been so overwhelmed by his displays of magic that they had forgotten about his swordsmanship. Even though magic was the dominant power in this world, there were still those among the Spriggan 12 who practiced swordsmanship.

It was very likely that this demon's swordsmanship was even stronger.

"In that case…"

As Ian spoke, a terrifying aura erupted from him. He casually swung his sword several times, sending out several purple energy rings that shot towards the distant sky.

The Spriggan 12 frowned, watching Ian swing his sword. They were prepared for a slash attack, but instead, they were met with a strange, unfamiliar power. They looked up at the sky.

Not just them, but the surrounding Imperial soldiers also looked up, their expressions a mixture of confusion and apprehension. The sky was a clear, cloudless blue.

Ian's right hand lowered, his Zanpakuto returning to its sheath. He didn't descend from the sky. Instead, he began to walk towards Ishgar.

"Consider this a parting gift…"

They were bewildered as they watched him, then they looked up at the sky again. And then, their expressions froze. They saw it then, within the clouds.

A massive, dark shape emerged, descending from the clouds, directly above the western coast of the Alvarez Empire. It was a rock. No, that wasn't quite right. It was too gigantic…

It was so large that it seemed to blot out the entire coastline, like a falling star.

An imperial soldier dropped his weapon, the clatter echoing in the silence.

Clang!!

It wasn't just one soldier. Many others dropped their weapons, too stunned to hold them.

Everyone looked up at the sky, their legs trembling, unable to move. It felt as if their strength had been completely drained from their bodies.

Some even collapsed to the ground, covered in a cold sweat, their eyes filled with terror and disbelief.

"What…?"

"What… is that?!!"

Not just the Imperial soldiers, but even the six remaining Spriggan 12 members stared at the colossal meteor descending from the sky, their foreheads dripping with sweat, their expressions a mixture of shock and disbelief.

How could such a massive meteor appear out of nowhere?!

"Is… is this a joke…?"

"Is… is this the power of a God?!"

Everyone looked up, watching as the gigantic meteor, large enough to blot out the sky, fell towards them. It hadn't even struck yet, but the air pressure alone was crushing, making it difficult to breathe.

"It's not on the same level…"

"Was that guy… not even fighting seriously the whole time?!" Neinhart stared at the sky, muttering to himself, a bitter taste in his mouth.

Seeing the massive meteor approaching, everyone was in despair.

"Don't just stand there! We have to do something!"

Invel was the first to recover from the shock. He shouted, trying to rally the others.

"Run! Everyone, RUN!!"

Jacob, regaining his composure, began to direct the Imperial soldiers to evacuate. He even used his stealth magic to transport as many as he could.

Then, the remaining Spriggan 12 members stood together, looking up at the sky, their expressions grim. They took a deep breath and prepared to unleash their strongest attacks.

"We have to stop it!"

Invel spoke, his voice heavy. He looked at the approaching meteor, gritting his teeth. He pressed his hands to the ground.

Crack! Crack!!

The entire western coast was instantly covered in ice. Seven or eight massive ice pillars shot up into the sky, attempting to freeze the falling meteor.

But because the meteor was so large and falling with such immense force, the ice pillars shattered on contact, unable to stop its descent.

Invel continued to create ice pillars, but they were continuously destroyed. He couldn't freeze the entire meteor.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

At that moment, a giant, several meters tall, appeared at the base of the meteor, trying to hold it up with its sheer strength.

"A giant?? No, it's Brandish!"

In this world, like in the world of One Piece, there were giants. So, when they saw the towering figure, they weren't too surprised.

But they quickly realized it wasn't a real giant. It was Brandish.

The ice pillars continued to shatter, though they were now able to hold for a moment before breaking.

The massive meteor continued its slow descent. They had managed to slow its fall, but they couldn't stop it.

"Transformation, High-Speed, Long-Range Combat Form!" Wall Eehto, transformed his body into a winged, robotic form, his hands assembling into a massive cannon.

"Loading, Magic Energy Cannon… 19%… 30%… 50%... 100% loading complete!"

"Target, directly above. Fire!"

A beam of magical energy shot towards the meteor. This was a weapon that consumed a vast amount of magical power. But because of its concentrated power, it could fire at incredible speeds.

The other Spriggan 12 members knew the destructive power of Wall's attack.

It was powerful enough to destroy a large portion of a city, comparable to a powerful Dragon's Roar.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The magical energy beam struck the meteor, creating a massive explosion, a mushroom cloud rising into the sky. The shockwave from the blast swept across the landscape, destroying everything in its path.

When the explosion subsided, a massive crater, a thousand meters in diameter and a hundred meters deep, marked the impact site. The surrounding area was completely devastated.

A third of the meteor had been destroyed.

The massive meteor shuddered, its descent momentarily halted. It was losing momentum.

Invel, standing on the ground, pushed his magic to its limit, creating dozens of thick ice pillars that shot up into the sky.

Finally, the ice pillars managed to hold the meteor in place, freezing its surface and halting its descent.

It was frozen in the air, a giant, icy sphere hanging above the Empire.

Brandish, relieved, finally shrunk back to her normal size, suppressing her fear.

"How long are you going to mope around like that?!"

After catching her breath, Brandish angrily addressed Larcade, who was still sprawled on the ground, spouting pessimistic nonsense. She was annoyed that he, one of their trump cards against Acnologia, had been so easily defeated by Ian's emotional manipulation.

"It's… quite impressive…"

Ian, who had already left the Alvarez Empire, looked back at the massive meteor, now frozen in place, a giant, icy sculpture hanging in the sky. He nodded slightly.

Though in the end, despite the combined efforts of everyone present, the colossal meteor still crashed down.

In an instant, the world seemed to tilt.

The massive meteor struck the shattered western coast, creating tidal waves that swept across the land. Even those watching the event through distant projections felt their hearts skip a beat, their minds reeling at the sheer scale of the destruction.

This scene would forever be etched in their memories.

Thankfully, almost all the Imperial soldiers had been evacuated. But they had lost six of the Spriggan 12. And it was clear that their opponent hadn't even been fighting seriously.

Otherwise, not just them, but the entire Alvarez Empire might have been destroyed.

Everyone was reminded that this demon had claimed to be hunting Acnologia. He had even said that he had allowed the dragon to escape.

Now, they couldn't help but believe him.

Now he had done this.

He had dropped a meteor large enough to cover an entire town from the sky, and he had destroyed the Zonia Alps.

These two events alone were enough to elevate Ian to the status of The Strongest in the Fairy Tail world.

A giant meteor fell from the sky and completely destroyed the west coast of the Empire. It took months to remove it, and a strange, giant mountain peak appeared on the coast as a result.

When news of this reached the continent of Ishgar, many were skeptical and in disbelief.

However, when the image of the one responsible was shown to them, they saw that it was the same person who completed the 100-year quest.

The one who had conquered, no, destroyed the Zonia Alps, and repelled Acnologia. Only then did they realize that Gildarts had spoken the truth.
