Chapter 2: Chapter 2 : The Three Forms!!!
Ian looked down at the Moria Pirates below, feeling a bit helpless.
If it were Moria from twenty years later, it wouldn't be so daunting. But the current Moria is at least at the All-Star-level strength! He's definitely a monster.
After all, why did he end up in the world of pirates? If he had to cross over, he would have preferred to land in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh instead of this.
The Yu-Gi-Oh world, though dangerous, has plenty of safe places if you stay out of the main story. And if there were an extinction-level crisis, the gods of each generation could lend a hand.
In contrast, the pirate world is fraught with suffering. Even the relatively stable member countries endure the constant pressure from the Celestial Dragons and the occasional attacks from pirates, which often come as unpleasant surprises.
Non-member countries are even worse—pirates, gangsters, and human traffickers are rampant, and you might even face the whims of the Celestial Dragons.
Unfortunately, Ian, who had been playing a Winged Dragon deck in Yu-Gi-Oh, was abruptly thrust into this world when he came to his senses. His body had regressed to that of a two-year-old child, and he found himself on a desert island in this new world.
If Kaido hadn't happened to try to kill himself at the time, he would still be a savage by now. Fortunately, Kaido picked him up, and he's been with the Beast Pirates for three years.
Although Ian doesn't have a system, he didn't come empty-handed. He brought with him a fruit that granted him the ability to transform into a winged dragon of the sun god! That's why Kaido was willing to take him in.
Before crossing over, he hadn't just been defeated by a machine in the game but had transformed into a god. Ian couldn't help but feel emotional about the situation.
But now was not the time for reminiscing.
Teacher Kaido was watching from the back, and the only option was to advance.
"Blaze Cannon!!"
The divine judgment transformed into a breath of fire, condensing into molten gold in an instant, erupting from Ian's mouth and descending!
Moria's eyes widened in alarm. "Watch out!!"
Rumble!!
The brilliant flames erupted, creating a magnificent golden flower amidst the ice and snow.
The overwhelming heat swept across the battlefield in an instant, melting the surrounding snow and evaporating the scattered flakes into mist that filled the sky.
The Pterodactyl's basic ability is to manipulate the extraordinary temperature of the golden fire at will.
"Hmph!"
Above Ian, Kaido laughed. "Not enough! Brat! It was blocked!"
Blocked?
Ian glanced down.
As the flames cleared, a black wall appeared in his line of sight. Though it had been shattered into pieces, it had successfully blocked the explosion.
This is my second strongest move! Blocked so easily?
Moria is truly formidable. No wonder he's a hero of the West Blue.
"Damn!!"
Behind the black curtain, Moria hissed and roared.
Even though the explosion was blocked, the intense heat that surged out caused his allies to scream in pain, with several suffering burns.
If he hadn't used shadows as a shield in time, this attack might have severely damaged the Moria Pirates.
"How dare you harm my crew!!"
Moria glared fiercely at Ian, her fists clenched. "I will never forgive you! Shadow Curtain · Shadow Spear!"
In an instant, the shadow curtain extended, transforming into a long, narrow spear that lunged directly at Ian's stomach.
"Hmph!"
Ian's pupils contracted; the attack was too swift for him to dodge.
Before he could even fully process what was happening, the long Shadow Spear had already stabbed into his stomach.
This spear is sharp enough to pierce through the tough flesh of ancient giants! But…
Clang.
A crisp sound echoed.
The sharp Shadow Spear pressed against Ian's stomach but failed to penetrate.
"What!!"
Moria's expression changed drastically.
Something's wrong with this kid! What an unbelievably tough body!
Ian let out a sigh of relief.
Luckily, he didn't need to evade.
"Get ready to defend! I'll handle the rest!"
Moria shouted, realizing his attacks were ineffective and his partner couldn't harm this kid either!
"Hahaha!"
Kaido laughed heartily.
This kid's golden body boasts a defense rivaling dragon scales.
There's no way such an attack could injure him.
"Foolish!"
The spear that had pierced Ian transformed into a shadow resembling Moria, and then, in the next moment, Moria himself appeared.
As a Shadow Fruit user, Moria can switch places with his shadow at will.
Since mere shadows are ineffective, it's time for a more substantial attack!
The enormous scissors, enveloped in Haki, were poised to strike Ian directly.
Ian's heart skipped a beat. With Moria using Haki, this attack might be impossible to block in this form.
Time to transform!
His two massive wings quickly closed in front of him.
Flames erupted from his body's surface.
Bam!
The scissors struck Ian's body, and Moria felt as though he had hit a layer of Sea-Prism Stone. His hands were violently jolted.
"How is this possible!!"
Moria's eyes widened in shock.
The dragon before him transformed into a massive golden sphere adorned with intricate patterns.
Moria's scissors merely grazed the sphere's surface, having no effect at all.
The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode!
"You might need to apply more force, Moria!"
Kaido's voice boomed like thunder. "This is the kid's defensive form. His defense in this state is likely on par with that of the old hag, Big Mom!"
This defense is comparable to Big Mom's!
In every sense, it's nearly indestructible.
Moreover, it's not just about defense. In this form, this kid can also heal his injuries rapidly.
Moria's face darkened with frustration.
Bear!
His eyes flashed with realization.
Brilliant flames surged above the golden sphere, enveloping Moria entirely.
In the next moment, a pitch-black Moria appeared on the ground.
The blackness wasn't from burning but from the armament haki he used.
As the flames engulfed him, he first employed haki for defense and then swapped places with his shadow.
The Shadow Fruit's power is crucial.
Ian sighed inwardly as the attacks that came close failed to land.
"This flame!"
Moria tilted his head, staring at the golden orb surrounded by flames.
The temperature of these flames is off the charts!
It's extraordinarily intense!
Even with his Armament haki defense, he nearly got burned.
What kind of ability does this kid possess?
So young, yet capable of such power!!
"Hmmmmm."
Kaido's laughter echoed once more. "Almost there, Ian."
Winning seemed impossible, Ian thought.
But Mr. Kaido had said otherwise.
The golden orb transformed once more, and Ian reverted to his golden wyvern form.
A brilliant flame ignited within him.
Ian's breathing quickened.
First form: the Golden Wyvern.
Second form: the Golden Sphere.
And now, the third form.
Bright red impurities suddenly emerged from the golden flames. The golden divine dragon melded into the fire, transforming into a flame bird composed of two-colored flames.
Third form: the Immortal Phoenix!
Consume your stamina to fully transform into flames and become an immortal bird with outstretched wings!
The more stamina you expend and the longer you maintain this form, the more destructive the flames will become!
The dark clouds in the sky began to dissipate, and the snow around them melted away.
An intense heatwave, centered on Ian, began to spread outward.
The terrifying temperature made everyone in the Moria Pirates crew sweat profusely, only for the sweat to evaporate instantly, leaving behind salt stains.
The temperature of the golden and red flames far surpassed that of the golden flames from before!
"Elementalization? "
Moria was incredulous.
It was already common knowledge that Mythical Zoan had special abilities, but the ability to elementalize was beyond belief! This was the greatest advantage of the Logia Devil Fruits!
He had no time for further thought, as the flaming bird, Ian had become, dove straight toward him.
Even though it might not be very effective, in this state, there's no need to be afraid—just try to hit it head-on.
"Boy! Don't underestimate me! "
Moria leaped to his feet, brandishing his massive scissors and charging straight at Ian.
Elementalization? Armament Haki! You brat!
Ian didn't evade or dodge, instead meeting Moria head-on.
Moria's scissors slashed toward Ian with their sharp blades, while Ian's body, enveloped in domineering energy, resisted the heat radiating from the flame bird's form.
And then—
It was overwhelming!
The blade, infused with overwhelming power, sliced through the head of the flaming bird.
But—
"… How can this be?!"
Moria's expression shifted dramatically.
He felt no impact at all! It was as if he had struck nothing but empty space! Was the Armament Haki ineffective? Or was this elementalization?
Certainly not elementalization.
The Phoenix had transformed entirely into flames, with no solid form at all—much like Charlotte Linlin's Zeus. The Armament Haki had no effect on it because it was a mere phenomenon of burning!
The flames engulfed Moria instantly. The flaming bird then crashed to the ground, consuming the entire Moria Pirates crew.
Rumble!!!
Pillars of fire shot into the sky, tearing through the clouds, and the earth trembled under exploding fireballs.
The world was suddenly ablaze! It was as if the sun itself had fallen to the ground.
"Hahahaha!"
In the sky, Kaido's laughter echoed loudly.
