People are writing diaries in Douluo, Bibi Dong is crazy about it

Chapter 49: Chapter 49

Chapter 49: He Is Not a Troublemaker

Seeing Yu Xiaogang's displeasure, the clerk quickly apologized.

"Sorry, sorry, I spoke out of turn. I'll leave right away."

With that, he turned and hurried off, clearly not wanting to offend Yu Xiaogang any further.

After all, while Yu Xiaogang wasn't particularly strong or talented, his status as the second young master of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family meant he was not someone to be trifled with.

As the clerk's figure disappeared, anger flickered in Yu Xiaogang's eyes.

Zhao Ling already has the woman named Ah Yin by his side. Why is he still trying to pursue Miss Dong'er?

It suddenly made sense to him why he had felt such animosity toward Zhao Ling upon their first meeting—like the man was a rival who had killed his father and stolen his beloved.

This must be it, Yu Xiaogang thought. From the moment he saw Bibi Dong, he had been certain she was destined to be his wife.

But Zhao Ling? That shameless man was trying to steal her! And for what reason? Zhao Ling already had Ah Yin. Wasn't that enough?

No, Yu Xiaogang decided. 'I have to do something. I must make Miss Dong'er see Zhao Ling's true nature and understand that he's unworthy of her. I need to protect her from falling into his trap.'

His thoughts turned to Ah Yin. If he could also reveal Zhao Ling's deceit to her, he might prevent yet another innocent woman from becoming ensnared by Zhao Ling's lies.

It's the right thing to do, he reasoned. A noble deed, even.

With this resolve, Yu Xiaogang stood up and left his private room. After several days of rest and healing under the care of the Great Fighting Soul Arena's healing soul masters, his injuries were fully recovered—except for his teeth.

The ten teeth he had lost wouldn't regenerate naturally. If he ever wanted to restore his smile, it would require considerable expense and effort.

As he walked through the arena, Yu Xiaogang remained alert, determined not to let Zhao Ling catch him off guard again. He had suffered enough humiliation at Zhao Ling's hands and vowed never to repeat the same mistakes.

Far away in Tiandou Imperial City, outside the grand gates of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family, a servant stepped out of a carriage. He looked up at the imposing mountain gate with a mixture of awe and envy.

An ordinary employee of the Great Fighting Soul Arena, the servant had been sent by the arena's management to deliver a report about Yu Xiaogang's activities.

For someone of his status, the opportunity to visit the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family—a legendary power—was a rare honor. Approaching the gate with an air of excitement, he was soon intercepted by four guards.

One of the guards scrutinized him, his expression haughty. "Who are you? Don't you know the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family doesn't allow strangers to barge in? State your identity and your purpose, and we'll decide whether to report it."

The servant wasn't offended. He understood the pride of those born into one of the top three powers in the Douluo Continent. 'If I were a part of this family, I'd probably act the same way,' he thought.

Putting on a flattering smile, he bowed and replied, "Greetings, gentlemen. My name is Liuzi, and I work for the Great Fighting Soul Arena. I've come on behalf of my superiors to report on the experiences of your second young master during his time at our arena."

Hearing this, the guards exchanged serious glances. While Yu Xiaogang was infamous within their family for his weak abilities and poor qualifications, he was still the patriarch's son. Matters concerning him were not to be taken lightly.

One of the guards nodded curtly. "Wait here. I'll go report this to the patriarch."

With that, the guard turned and ran through the gates, leaving the servant to breathe a sigh of relief.

---

Inside the meeting hall of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family, patriarch Yu Yuanzhen was deep in discussion with Yu Luomian and the other elders about critical family matters when the guard's report interrupted.

"Patriarch, someone from the Great Fighting Soul Arena is here, requesting to speak with you about the second young master."

The mention of Yu Xiaogang immediately soured the mood. Yu Luomian and the elders frowned, their expressions dark with disapproval.

To them, Yu Xiaogang was a disgrace—weak, untalented, and utterly unworthy of the family name. How could such a trivial matter interrupt an important meeting?

Sensing the tension, Yu Xiaolong, Yu Yuanzhen's eldest son, looked at his father and asked, "Father, since this concerns my younger brother, should I handle it?"

Yu Yuanzhen frowned thoughtfully before nodding. "Go and see what this is about. Your uncle and the elders will remain here to continue discussing our affairs."

As the patriarch, Yu Yuanzhen understood the frustration his second son caused among the family's leadership. Allowing the matter to be addressed separately was the wisest course of action.

Nodding in acknowledgment, Yu Xiaolong rose and left the hall, leaving the discussion to resume without further interruptions.

---

In the courtyard, Yu Xiaolong approached the servant, his tone impatient.

"What's this about my younger brother? He's not someone who causes trouble."

Despite Yu Xiaolong's irritation, there was genuine concern in his voice. No matter how disappointing Yu Xiaogang's abilities might be, he was still family.

The servant quickly recounted everything he knew, sparing no details. He explained Yu Xiaogang's repeated injuries, his refusal to leave the Great Fighting Soul Arena despite being urged to do so, and the challenges he faced there.

As the story unfolded, Yu Xiaolong's frown deepened.
