poetry This is me

I'm no knight in shining in shining armor

But I do want to take your problems away,

Far across the lands to another place ,

Again last night I heard you shed a tear,

Crying, you were alone in the dark,

How long will you wear that happy mask,

Just Come to my arms,

Hold me and cry,

And darling I will take your pain and hurt

Your burdens as tears ,

I'll take them away so you have a true smile on your face ,

Whenever you hurt I'll come to your aid ,

Just cry to me.

I'll be the light in your life

Shelter you from the dark,

Come to my shoulder

Let your burden out ,

Though I'm losing my shine

I'll use it for you ,

You cry on me and then you leave,

You make my heart fond of you and then you flee ,

My heart is carved for you and now it bleeds.
