Pokemon - A real story

"Now, for the lack of experience, it will take time. That is not something that you can achieve in a day or two. Yet, there are some ways to reduce the time. Like constant battling. Not with your own Pokemons as it has already been adjusted to them but with wild Pokemons and Pokemons of other trainers. Try to do this once every day.

I know that you have a lot of responsibility and things to accomplish but you also must understand that you cannot do all of that in a short time. You need time for yourself to grow and also for your Pokemons."

"I understand that. But sometimes things get so complicated that I just cannot do anything like the kidnapping incident. I could not do anything. I just feel so helpless. Even though I have so many powerful Pokemons.", sighed Axel.

This had been plaguing him for quite some time. What could he have done that day so that he could not have been kidnapped? The answer to make his Pokemons powerful and make himself powerful. But he could not do that in just a day or even a month or years. It would take years to accomplish and he didn't have the luxury of time.

"That is why I am saying that you need to have patience. You get angry very fast. I understand that you are just a kid and are not mature but you cannot just get out of emotions now."

"I control my emotions."

"Oh really? Then why did you humiliate that gym leader of Violet City? What was his name? I forgot.

You think that the guy is sleeping soundly not thinking about how to ruin you every day. He is a freaking gym leader. Reputation is all he had."

"But he was the one who was wrong. He was the one who provoked me.", shouted Axel. He was still angry with that gym leader.

"That is why I said that you are still a kid. Do you have the power to defy the person that he is connected with? No. Then why do you want to play this game?

Axel, you have just started your journey. You are still a kid. There is a huge difference between a king rank and a champion-rank Pokemon. Even 100 of King rank Pokemons can do nothing to a champion-rank Pokemon. You are not even a champion of any region yet. You have not even won the league battle yet. There are thousands and even millions of people who have the same power as you. Of course, none of them are as young as you but still.

So, why do you think that you have taken all this responsibility of saving the world? Why do you think that you are powerful? You are still nothing. And when you still have nothing, you need to be patient and take your time."

Blue was just educating Axel on just simplest of terms. Since Axel had progressed so fast compared to his peers, he had become arrogant and he needed to be taught a lesson.

"I understand Blue. Thanks for the guidance. Now, I want Gyarados to be ready for the tide battle but it doesn't have a good defensive and healing-type move. What should I do? Do you have any idea?"

"You know what? Father has given you a lot of gifts. Red had taught you well but I have not given you anything. So, I will teach your Gyarados a healing and a defensive move. It will take a lot of time to master it, so it would depend on you and Gyarados.", said Blue.

Blue then called out his Blastoise and Onix. Axel was confused cause this Onix was also a champion-rank Pokemon but why had it still not evolved to Steelix?

"I didn't choose to evolve it 'cause it doesn't want to evolve and I like rock type more than steel type.", said Blue before Axel could question it.

"Now, for the defensive more, Onix will teach and for healing one Blastoise will teach you and Gyarados.

Both of these moves are invented by me and they will be perfect for your Gyarados. I will suggest that you let your Gyarados learn the defensive move first. Because a defensive move is a bit complicated and would take some time and as of right now your Gyarados need a defensive move the most."

It was a huge thing to share a move that a trainer had learned. So, he felt a wave of gratitude from Blue. Blue was also right about the defensive move. He had Pokemons like Venusuar and Gogoat for healing his Pokemons but a defensive move was something that Gyarados sorely needed.

"Ok, let's go with a defensive move first.", said Axel.

Gyarados was also ready to learn it right now.

"The move I am going to teach you is going to take some time to learn and even after it learns it, it would take some time to show some real effect. It is a long road but it would be very effective.

Before learning this move, your Gyarados will have to first learn the move 'Rock polish' and upgrade it. The upgrade should be to make its body more slippery and faster than before. If you were any other trainer, I would not have suggested this move to you as this would take a lot of time but you have the system."

Even though Axel already had the system, it was not so easy to learn a move and level it up to level 40. Axel had noticed that when a Pokemon reaches king rank, it becomes easier for them to upgrade the moves. So, it might not take some time.

"Ok, after it learns it, what should we do?"

"Axel, that would obviously come after it. First, complete the first task."

Axel was a bit disappointed that he could not learn the entire process but he didn't mind. Learning too much and not doing anything would also drive him mad.

"Gyarados, till we start the tide battle, there is the only thing you need to do and that is to learn 'Rock polish' and level it up to 40. I will also help you in every way. I want you to learn the defensive move and healing move before the tide.", said Axel.

"Don't worry Axel, I plan to do the same.", said Gyarados.

Learning 'Rock polish' was not so hard. It learned it within 15 minutes.

"Now, you will fight against Pidgeot using 'Rock Polish'", said Axel.

Only training in the move will take a long amount of time for it to reach level 40.

"Gyarados, don't just use the move. Try to think about the purpose of the move 'Rock polish'. Its purpose is to polish you with a thin veil of rock particles so that you can move faster. Just try to think of it while using this move.", said Axel.

From morning till evening, Axel only concentrated on Gyarados. He chose Pidgeot as its opponent cause Pidgeot was fast and it was also a tier 1 king-rank Pokemon.

Till evening, it was able to level up 'Rock polish' to level 39. Even Axel was surprised by the progress. He had never concentrated on a single Pokemon for an entire day, especially a king-rank Pokemon, and never told them to focus on a single move. But this was just ridiculous.

Of course, Gyarados had help from Axel, Blue, and Onix to maximize the advantage but this was still huge. With such a speed, Axel expected it to upgrade the move by tomorrow but he also knew that such a thing would take some time.

Next day,

They were now ready to move towards the place where Lucario lived. It would still take a couple of days of traveling to reach here and he also had to train Gyarados.

Meanwhile, Pidgeot was furious with Axel. Axel had promised it that it would be winning this year's competition as Venusaur would be reaching tier 2 very soon. Venusaur did reach tier 2 but Gyarados also reached tier 1 and Gyarados right now was far more powerful than Pidgeot.

Pidgeot had just ranked up to king rank while Gyarados was already on the verge of reaching tier 2 king. The entire day, it was not able to win against Gyarados. So now, it was definitely going to lose the competition.

"Don't worry. we still have some time and I am sure that Gyarados will reach tier 2 by that time."

Axel assured Pidgeot about this cause Gyarados was very close to reaching tier 2 and there was still time for the competition. Axel truly believed that it would reach tier 2 in the next tide battle.

It had been 2 days and they were very close to reaching the place. They were moving at a fast pace and it was not like before when Axel and the group had to mind their every step.

In these 2 days, Gyarados did try to upgrade the move but it was not able to do it. It looked very close to achieving it and Axel believed that it would be able to do it in a couple of days.

And Axel was right. It was able to level it up on the 3rd day.

Gyarados has leveled up Rock Polish to level 40. The polish is more refined than before and the speed of the user has increased.]

"Hell Yeah!!!", shouted Axel.

Gyarados was also equally jumping in excitement. They were able to complete the first requirement in just 3 days. They were making a lot of progress.

"Now, can you tell me the complete process?", asked Axel.

"Not now. We are very close to meeting Lucario. Let's just meet him first.", said Blue.

"Yes, let's do that."

They were actually very close to the place. The place looked as grand as before. Axel still didn't understand till now about the construction of this place. How was Lucario able to make such a thing on an island filled with wild Pokemon?

Axel just had to ask it/him.

As they walked towards the place, the guards opened the gate and they were led inside. Blue was shocked to see the place cause it looked like a human settlement.

"I was surprised the first time I came here too.", said Axel.

It was quite a shock for Blue as he never expected to see a human settlement here.

At that time, A Lucario came to greet them.

"Axel, this Lucario doesn't seem so strong. Are you sure that it is a god-rank Pokemon?"

"Haha, because this is not the Lucario that we are going to meet."

"The leader wants to meet with you and the other human. You are invited to the place. Please follow me.", said Lucario.

"Can you tell me where my Steelix is?", asked Axel.

"Yes, he is training right now. Why don't you meet with the leader first and then you can meet with your Pokemon too."

Even though Axel wanted to see the progress of Steelix, he agreed to meet it later. There were many things at play here.

They reached a different room. The place was very different. It was an enclosed room but it gave a vibe of vibrant flower and grass all around. It smelled like a forest. Not the decaying, scary one but the one a person would dream about.

"Axel and you must be Blue. Welcome to my humble adobe.", smiled a Lucario that was sitting on a wooden chair.
