Prison School: No More Prison

Chapter 1: Chapter 1:Evening of the Seventh/Tanabata's Aftermath

---

Hey! hope u doin well.

I recently finished School Prison's manga for the second time and wanted to read some fanfics, maybe a fan ending of sorts but I couldn't find any. So guess what? I decided to start my own!

Before we start, there are some thing I wish to highlight:

-This is my second fanfic ever, so please forgive my cringy writing and spelling errors (english is not my first language)

- I will continue the story after Chiyo's birthday (won't take on consideration the last panels nor the epilogue)

- I'll be hearing critics and suggestions, so feel free to comment!

Hope you like it as much as I do! Without further ado, let's start!

Disclaimer: I do not own nor wrote Prison School and it's characters.

Prison School: No More Prison

Chapter 1: Evening of the Seventh/Tanabata's Aftermath

Kiyoshi's POV:

"…"

I blacked out…

My eyes hurt from crying…

I…

Where did I go wrong?...

… I feel like an hour has passed… It started pouring rain again…

"… At least this will wash out the pee…"

"Heh"

Someone faintly chuckled right beside me.

I finally moved my head, and looked at my side.

Hana was sitting next to me.

"…They are really pretty…"

"…Hmm?" I asked

"The stars… they are really pretty aren't they?"

Her voice was softer than usual.

I looked up to the sky once more. Hana was right.

The stars were really pretty. I mean, that's kinda the whole point of Tanabata, right?

"…"

I couldn't see Hana's face from this angle. I wondered… What face was she doing at this moment?

Was she smiling? She proved her point and saved her friend from me… Yes… That probably was it.

What I could see in the position I was in, where my briefs. Hana probably put them back on while I was out.

"…"

Man… the stars do look really pretty. It's a shame I couldn't see with my eyes full of water. This rain was sure something.

No, wait… This water is not from the rain, right?

I'm crying again…

"… shit… *sniff*"

It was… It was all my fault…

Why did I even put them on? Was it really necessary?

No… If I didn't have Hana's panties on… I wouldn't have made it this far…

"… Hey… Stop crying, would you?"

Hana said to me in a neutral tone.

Hmm… this is the tone she uses when she's about to beat me.

But… I can't stop, the tears won't, at least.

Ah… I deserve it, don't I? Just finish me, Hana-san.

"…?!"

Hana put her hand on my shoulder.

Wha…

"…Aah… I messed up…"

Hana-san was finally looking in my direction.

She… She had a huge slap mark on her face.

She was smiling, but…. It did look really fake. I don't know what she's thinking or feeling but… This smile is really fake. Her eyes also look tired… Was she crying before I woke up?

"…Mari-san is going to kill me when she finds out…"

Hana continued to talk to herself. Oh, that's right, she doesn't know about Mari's scholar exchange… I guess I shouldn't tell her.

"…"

I got up.

I scanned around me. I found my pants and put them back on.

"…Do you want them back?" I asked without looking in her direction.

"…"

"…Okay."

Guess I'm keeping her panties… No… I'll probably hand them back after we get back to school.

"…You did have them on…"

I looked at her. Her face was aiming for the ground. Just a second ago she was looking straight up to the sky and now she's watching the cold and wet grass?

"I… I thought I was wrong. That you wouldn't be wearing them. That I…I was going to finally… lose it… But I was wrong about that…why?... Why are you wearing them?"

Silence.

I didn't know what to say.

So I did as she did, and looked to the ground.

"…No… I get it…"

"I'm going home" I interrupted her.

I had a Deja vu, but I don't know where it came from.

"…" She went silent too.

I looked around for one last time. Everything was a mess. The flowers I brought were on the floor, that strange barrel was near the river and there was a bottle, cut in half, in the middle of the floor.

Hana-san got up too. Our eyes didn't meet, but I could say she was looking at me through her bangs.

"Why didn't you go back home… it's raining"

I don't know what I'm saying

"…You are gonna catch a cold"

I don't really wanna talk to her.

She ruined everything. She exposed me to the girl I loved. She-

"… I… I wanted to…"

Hana interrupted my thoughts. She wasn't smiling. I could tell from the way her eyes were looking at the ground. Her hands trembled, maybe from the cold rain, but I'm not sure.

I don't understand her, no, I CAN'T understand her.

I don't get it. Why? Does she hate me? Does she like me? I… I'm lost.

"… Kiyoshi… w-we can share…"

Huh?

Oh… She has an umbrella… Does she actually want to share it with me?

… Nah… It's from pity… Why is she acting so shy towards me? 1 hour ago she was taking our pants off like it was nothing…

"… Hana-san"

"Hmm?"

She looked at me with a slight blush, but her face was one of a tired person. She looks… terrible… maybe even worse than how I look. How could this be…

"I… I'll call a taxi"

"Ah… okey…"

I guess we're both out of words. At least that way you won't have to share with this disgusting pervert right?

No taxis were available, we had to walk until we found one. But I guess that luck was not on our side as there was no one on the streets.

We walked side by side. On any other occasion, I'd be really happy to be side by side sharing an umbrella with another girl… Well… I would if that girl was Chiyo-chan…Chiyo.

We hadn't shared a word for the last 20 or so minutes.

Hana was looking in my direction from time to time, I did the same, but we both made sure not to make eye contact… I think… I probably sound like a lunatic.

"…"

"…"

Fuck!

I lost my thoughts and actually made eye contact!

This is so awkward, but in this context I don't have anything to say. I must probably look like a dumbass but what can I do?

"Kiyoshi"

"Y-Yes?"

"Did you… Why did no one else come to Chiyo's birthday?"

Huh… I didn't think about it… why did no one else come to her birthday?

"I-I'm not sure, I didn't plan anything…"

"You're not lying? Are you sure you didn't tell the others not to come?" She asked in a slightly threatening voice.

"I-I swear!"

In some way… I'm glad they aren't here. If they found out about everything that happened today I'd probably lose it. But it was weird. Knowing them, something bad must have happened for them to miss Chiyo's birthday. Especially after building the PBR V2.

"… Okay… I'm surprised about the other USC members…"

Oh! A taxi! Finally!

"Taxi!" I screamed with the last energy I had left

But… The taxi was full. Damnit! I want this nightmare to end, I-

"…Huh?!"

I looked for a second inside the taxi. It was driving fast, but I swear I saw Meiko-san next to Kate-san. Oh that's right. They were together when we found out about Mari's situation. But…they stole my bike! What the hell are they doing in the only taxi I've seen today?!

"W-Wait for…me"

Hana catched up. But we ain't going nowhere.

Fuck… I don't get it… Why did I do that? What pushed me to use Hana's panties? What pushed me to lie to Chiyo about not wearing them? What pushed me to think I befriended Hana? What pushed me to…

I realized. I pushed myself into this, didn't I? All because I lied to Chiyo about liking Sumo just to talk to her. If I wasn't such an asshole and spoke with the truth from the beginning… maybe I wouldn't be in this situation. If I didn't do that to Hana, maybe I wouldn't be crying under the rain…

"Damnit!" I said while hitting a random stop sign. I don't know what to do now…

"Hey! Calm down dipshit!" Hana screamed at me. "Let's just walk home"

Before we could even walk three steps, we heard a car engine behind us.

"Aah, Fujino-kun, it's illegal to punch street signs, you know?"

I turned my back to find the officer. He gave me a kind smile, but it didn't take long until he realized something was wrong.

"Mm… It's pouring hell down here… Let me take you both back home, aight?"

Without many other options, Hana and I got into the patrol car.

It wasn't a long ride home. Definitely, a car was faster than any bike or running teenager, but there's no way I'll get a license soon.

I hope Chiyo found a taxi or took the train…

"…"

Hana and I were on the backseats. She was looking through the window, watching the rain hit the floor. I took a small peak at her face, the slap mark was already fading, but so was her energy. Her eyes were tired. I wondered… Did she regret what she did? I couldn't tell just from looking at her.

"So… Fujino-kun… I loaded your bike on the trunk of the patrol car."

"O-Oh is it okay if I take it?"

"Yes kid, I checked everything, I know its yours"

"I see, thank you officer! Thank you for everything!"

We arrived at the academy. Hana got out of the car and waited for me while I got my stuff.

As the officer helped me unload my bike, he whispered to me:

"Hey, maybe it's not the best time but… it didn't go well, right?"

"… No" I said in an awfully sad tone

"… I see… is she the one you confessed to?" Asked the officer while looking at Hana

"N-No… She's just… A friend"

"… I see…"

The officer closed his eyes and put a hand on his chin. It was like he was trying to get the whole story out of my words.

"That girl right there… I'm no expert but… it looks like she's waiting for something"

What?

What is this man talking about? Hana is waiting for something?

Yeah sure, she's waiting for this day to end. So am I.

"…"

But he's right. I feel like Hana is waiting for something… A quick look at her told me everything. Maybe she's just tired?

"Anyways… Don't give up kid, it's not over! This is just the beginning!"

Ah… That's what I said this morning before leaving my room. So foolish of me to think a scumbag like me could get a 'happy ending'.

I thanked the officer for everything (again), left my bike in the parking zone, and continued walking next to Hana.

"…"

The day was over. So was my life. I didn't want to think about anything else for the rest of my day…No… for the rest of my life.

"Kiyoshi"

Hana stopped me. That's right, she probably doesn't want anyone to see us together.

"… I wanted to ask you something, Kiyoshi"

I couldn't figure out how Hana felt from her tone. She sounded as neutral as one can be.

"Yes?"

"What are you going to do now"

"… I'm going to sleep"

"I-I didn't mean that, dumbass!" She said with a confusing voice. "I'm asking you… what are you going to do now with Chiyo?"

What kind of question is that? There's only one thing I can do

"… I'm leaving her alone"

Hana was surprised at my statement. I thought it was the logical thing to do.

"T-Then… Why didn't you…?"

I can't think anymore. I'm not even going to spend energy on trying to figure out what she's talking about. I just want to sleep and forget about everything.

"… We'll talk later, I guess…"

I was surprised. Surprised she still wants something from me. I guess I deserve it but…

Augh… I don't care anymore. She can do whatever she wants.

"See ya, Hana-san"

"… Goodbye"

I didn't look back at Hana while she left.

I swear I could hear her slightly sobbing. I don't know why, but I'm not going to comfort her or anything… not today.

"…"

I walked to my room. There was light coming from inside, the boys are probably up. Damn, I wanted to be alone today, but I guess there's not that much room for privacy in this place.

I opened the door and found Gakuto, Shingo and Joe disassembling the PBR. They were all covered in towels, probably from the cold rain. I took a breath and tried to act natural. Gakuto was the first one to notice my presence.

"Oh! Kiyoshi-dono, what a-" His smile dropped in a second "W-What happened?"

"H-Hi everyone!"

"Ah! Kiyosh- shit dude! You look terrible!" Said Shingo without a hint of shame in his words.

"Kiyoshi, what happened? *cough*"

"T-The same thing I can ask about y'all, where were you guys?"

They all looked really happy about something, but I couldn't figure out what it was.

"Sorry, Kiyoshi, but we were on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure" Said Shingo while striking a weird pose.

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

They proceeded to talk to me about everything that happened with the PBR, the girls and everything else. After a long talk, helping them put their phones on rice, trying to make them work and cleaning myself, We sat down and talked about 'that'.

"Y-You confessed your feelings to Chiyo-chan?!" Shingo was the first one to react.

"Yours truly can't believe it! How did this go?" Gakuto sounded as happy as usual.

"W-Well…" I stopped breathing for a moment.

Should I tell them about everything that happened? I don't think they'll ever forgive me if I tell them about my 'relationship' with Hana-san. Maybe it's for the best to leave it for later.

"It…It didn't go well… I fucked up and now Chiyo hates me…" I said without much thought.

The room was filled with silence. Everyone's face went into a mix of surprise, denial and curiosity. Well, that was expected, from outside my relationship with Chiyo must have looked like a really good one, and I asked them for help many times so I could see her or go on dates.

"*cough* So that's why you don't look so good right, Kiyoshi?" Joe-kun was the first one to break the silence.

"Mmm… Troubled times indeed… B-But let's not worry, shall we? It's something you can both talk about right, Kiyoshi-dono?"

"... N-No… I don't think Chiyo will ever talk to me again…"

What should I even tell her? That I feel sorry about ruining her birthday, lying to her during my confession or that I peed on her? There's no way to fix this…

"W-Wait a minute, Kiyoshi" Shingo snapped my thoughts "You just have to give her some time alright? everything can mend if you just give it some time!"

"I don't think this will… But thank you for your words, Shingo"

"Kiyoshi-dono… If anything, we all know how much you love and appreciate Chiyo-san. Yours truly- No, Joe-dono, Shingo-dono, Andre-dono and I are here for anything you ever need!"

"Gakuto is right! *cough* We are all best friends for a reason, we'll help you fix your relationship". Shingo nodded as the other spoke.

I couldn't help but have a faint smile on my face. To know that I have this kind of friends, the ones that won't leave me in any circumstance. I could feel a small tear running down my cheek

"T-Thank you all… You are all the greatest friends ever…"

We all shared a small tear and laughed at our dumb crying faces. Maybe it wasn't all over. As much as I may have lost my high school life, my honor and the girl I love, but at least I have the best friends a dumbass like me could ask for.

"B-By the way, where is Andre?" I asked out of curiosity

"Now that you asked so, I haven't seen him since last class"

"I saw Andre-dono carrying a barrel of sorts to Meiko-sans doorrom"

"A barrel you say? Why would he give a barrel to Meiko?"

Speaking about the devil, Andre entered the room, a slight blush and a dumb smile plastered on his face. He also looked as if he had something underneath his clothes, maybe some shoulderpads?

"Hey everyone" Andre's tone sounded like a child after eating it's favorite icecream "You won't believe the things that happened today to me!"

What Andre told us that night changed our perspectives of this world forever.
