Reborn As Yamcha With The Cultivations System

Chapter 11: Time To Get Stronger

Yamcha then thought for a bit. "But how can I get stronger faster, how".

Yamcha then thought for a bit. "Right The Hyperbolic Time Chamber"

[ Great idea host but how will you do it ]

Yamcha just sighed. "Yeah what do I exactly say to Kami, hey Kami I am someone who has Reborn as Yamcha who saw this place as Anime, no that is asking for a reality crash, I can't say Goku told me, because I don't know if Goku even remembered it".

Yamcha paced back and forth as he thought deeply about his dilemma. The Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a legendary place known for accelerating training time, was the perfect way to grow stronger at an incredible rate. But there was no way to simply walk up to Kami and ask for access to it. Not without raising a lot of questions.

He stopped, his mind racing. "I can't exactly tell Kami I'm reborn and need a shortcut to power... If I did that, he might think I've lost my mind." Yamcha sighed in frustration. "But I need a way to get in. Goku might have access to it, but I don't know if he remembers everything either."

[ System Notification: Host, you have multiple options to proceed with gaining access to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. You could try the direct approach or utilize your cultivation skills to convince others. Alternatively, there may be a way to gain Kami's trust with your newly acquired powers. Would you like to explore these options further? ]

Yamcha looked up at the notification and considered it carefully. He needed a way that wouldn't seem too far-fetched. He could feel the Cultivation System urging him to think creatively.

"Convincing Kami with my powers... that could work," Yamcha muttered, thinking aloud. "But I can't just show up and flex my muscles. I need something more subtle. A display of power that will convince him I'm not just some guy who stumbled onto a training method."

He thought for a moment and then an idea sparked in his mind. "What if I... show him a small sample of my abilities, but frame it like it's something I've been working on, not some divine gift from another universe?"

[ System Notification: That approach could work, host. Use your cultivation abilities to show Kami that you've been training diligently, and your growth has been significant. This should pique his interest and potentially earn you access to the Time Chamber. ]

Yamcha grinned, a plan starting to take shape. "Alright, I'll do it. I'll go to Kami's lookout and prove I'm strong enough for the Hyperbolic Time Chamber without making it too obvious. I'll show him a fraction of my power, not just brute force. That should get his attention."

He began to focus, already planning the demonstration he would use to impress Kami. He knew it had to be something that was strong enough to make an impact but subtle enough to avoid suspicion. Yamcha's mind worked quickly, and he decided to use his Cultivation Pulse technique. It wasn't too flashy but would demonstrate his growth in a controlled way.

"Time to put this plan into motion," Yamcha said with a determined look. He spread his energy through his body and focused on the technique, summoning a small pulse of energy that rippled through the air around him.

[ System Notification: Cultivation Pulse activated. ]

The ground beneath Yamcha's feet rumbled slightly as the pulse of energy shot out in all directions. It wasn't enough to cause destruction, but the power was palpable, the force felt by everything around him. The pulse quickly dissipated, leaving behind an air of quiet intensity. Yamcha felt satisfied with the display.

"Okay, that should do it," he said, nodding to himself. "I've got to sell it now."

With that, he set off for Kami's Lookout, the floating palace in the sky where Kami, the Guardian of Earth, resided. As he flew, his mind raced with possibilities. He wasn't sure how Kami would react, but he had to play his cards carefully. No going back now.

When he reached the lookout, he hovered before the massive structure, his heart beating a little faster with the anticipation of what was to come. He landed on the platform, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves.

Kami appeared shortly afterward, his tall, serene figure watching Yamcha with a calm but attentive gaze.

"Yamcha," Kami said in his deep, composed voice. "What brings you here today?"

Yamcha gave him a respectful bow, but his mind was focused on the task at hand. "Kami, I've been training... pushing my limits. I've been cultivating and improving, and I was hoping to request something important."

Kami raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Cultivating? Interesting. Tell me more."

Yamcha squared his shoulders, standing tall. "I've discovered a way to accelerate my growth and increase my strength. It's called Cultivation, and I've made significant progress. I've even unlocked some techniques that allow me to unleash powerful energy pulses."

Yamcha lifted his hand, and once again, he focused, summoning another Cultivation Pulse. This time, it was even more controlled than before, the energy washing over the area in a wave. Kami's eyes narrowed slightly as he felt the power emanating from Yamcha.

"You've been training on your own, without any formal guidance?" Kami asked, his voice curious but calm.

Yamcha nodded. "Yes, I've been doing everything I can to get stronger. And I believe I can reach new heights if I had access to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I know it's a place of intense training, and I need that challenge if I'm going to be ready for the threats to come."

Kami looked at him for a moment, his expression unreadable. Yamcha stood still, waiting for the response. He had laid out his request, now all he could do was wait and see if it would be enough.

Finally, Kami spoke.

"You have shown me a great deal of power with that pulse, Yamcha. I can sense the potential in you. However, I will need to test your resolve before I grant access to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

Yamcha's heart skipped a beat. "Test my resolve?"

Kami nodded. "Yes. I will send you to the lookout's training grounds. There, you will face a series of challenges. Only by proving your dedication and focus will I allow you entry to the Time Chamber."

Yamcha grinned. "Bring it on, Kami. I'm ready."

Kami gestured, and the ground beneath Yamcha's feet shifted. "Then let the trials begin."

Yamcha braced himself, knowing this would be the first step toward gaining the training he needed to prepare for Raditz's arrival.

Yamcha stood tall, his heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. Kami had set the stage for him, and now the trial to prove his worth had begun. The training grounds below the lookout were vast, stretching out into a seemingly endless horizon. The ground was solid, with ancient stones and columns scattered throughout, creating a perfect battleground for the challenges ahead.

Kami's voice echoed through the air. "Your first trial, Yamcha, will be to face an opponent born from your own doubts and weaknesses. Only when you conquer this inner challenge will I consider allowing you access to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

Yamcha's brow furrowed. "My own doubts and weaknesses?" He knew what that meant. This wasn't just going to be a physical trial; it was going to be a mental one as well.

Suddenly, a dark mist began to swirl around Yamcha's feet, and from it, a figure began to emerge. The figure was indistinct at first, just a shadow. But as the mist cleared, it solidified into something far more tangible: Yamcha himself.

It was a twisted, darker version of Yamcha, his eyes glowing with malice and arrogance. His aura was different, more violent, filled with disdain and pride. The figure sneered at Yamcha.

"Do you think you're worthy of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Yamcha?" the dark version of him spat, voice dripping with scorn. "Look at you. You're nothing more than a joke. You've always been weak. Everyone's always laughed at you. What makes you think you could become stronger? You'll never be more than the coward you were back then."

Yamcha clenched his fists, the words cutting deep. He knew this was a test—a manifestation of everything that had held him back in the past. But now, with his new abilities and the Cultivation System backing him up, he wasn't going to let it control him anymore.

"You think I'm a joke?" Yamcha said through gritted teeth. "You think I'm weak? You're wrong."

The dark version of Yamcha laughed mockingly. "Oh, am I? Prove it. Show me that you're not the same pathetic loser you've always been."

Yamcha steeled himself. This wasn't just a fight against his clone—it was a fight against his own past, his insecurities, and his doubts. He had to conquer them if he wanted to move forward. He couldn't let the past control him any longer.

[ Cultivation System: Host, your inner energy is being tested. Tap into your true potential and use your new abilities. ]

Yamcha closed his eyes for a moment, focusing inward. He could feel the energy within him—raw, untapped potential ready to be unleashed. He wasn't the same person anymore. He was stronger, smarter, and most importantly, he had a new sense of purpose.

He took a deep breath and activated his Cultivation Aura, letting the energy flood out of him. His muscles rippled with power as he summoned his full strength, his aura flaring up in a brilliant golden light. The ground beneath him cracked as he surged forward, throwing a punch directly at his darker self.

The clone barely dodged, but Yamcha was faster. He followed up with a flurry of rapid strikes, each one landing with precision. His movements were fluid, his control over his energy sharper than ever before. It was like he was dancing in perfect harmony with his power, his doubts and insecurities melting away with every hit.

"Is this the best you've got?" Yamcha taunted, feeling the thrill of battle surge through him. He was no longer the weakling who had been the punchline of every joke. He was stronger than he had ever been.

The dark version of Yamcha growled, its expression twisted with fury. "You think you've won? You think you've outgrown me? You'll always be the same! You'll always be the one who fails!"

Yamcha's eyes narrowed. "No. Not anymore."

With a final, powerful burst of energy, Yamcha unleashed his Wolf Fang Gale Strike, the technique that had once been his signature move. The wind howled around him, and his energy condensed into a concentrated blast of force that slammed into the dark Yamcha's chest. The clone was sent flying, its body shattering into fragments of shadow as the attack hit.

The battle was over.

Yamcha stood there, panting heavily but with a sense of accomplishment filling his chest. He had defeated the dark version of himself—not just in battle, but in spirit. He had overcome his doubts and insecurities.

Kami's voice echoed from above. "Well done, Yamcha. You have passed your first trial. But there are more challenges to come. The second trial awaits."

Yamcha, still catching his breath, looked up. "I'm ready."

Kami's gaze softened for a brief moment, and then his voice took on a more serious tone. "The second trial will be a test of your strength against an opponent who is not of this world. Only then will I decide if you are truly worthy of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

Yamcha nodded, his determination unwavering. This was only the beginning. He had defeated his past, but now he had to prove himself against even greater challenges.

The ground beneath his feet trembled as a dark portal opened before him. From it emerged a massive, menacing figure. It was a creature unlike anything Yamcha had ever seen—a towering, hulking beast with black scales and eyes that glowed with fiery malice.

Yamcha raised his fists, ready for whatever came next. He wasn't going to back down. This was his chance to show Kami, and the world, that he was no longer the same man he used to be. He was stronger, and he was ready for the next challenge.

With a roar, the creature lunged at him, and Yamcha dashed forward to meet it head-on, ready to face his second trial.
