Chapter 7: Chapter 7
Chise and Rose continued discussing some topics of interest, mostly about children.
"Oh my, looks like my daughter is full, but this boy is quite the eater," Rose said as she tried to reposition her daughter but it was hard doing so with one hand
"Let me help," Chise offered.
"Thanks," Rose replied, handing her daughter to Chise.
"She looks pretty, just like you," Chise complimented Rose's daughter.
"Thanks, and your son looks like he would be quite the lady killer," Rose complimented in return.
They both stared into each other's eyes for a brief moment before simultaneously bursting into laughter.
Soon Draco was full, and Rose then placed him on her shoulder and patted his back until he burped out loudly.
Then she laid both him and her daughter on a bed before resuming her discussions with Chise.
'So my new life mother is called Chise,' Draco thought as he observed the two ladies talking.
He wasn't particularly interested in their discussion as it was mostly about babies and gossip about other women that he didn't know.
'So what do babies do? I don't really feel tired or sleepy,' he pondered.
'I probably should not try to be like those novel protagonists who attempt to master magic as a baby. There is no need for me to rush things as proper guidance will be needed,' Draco thought.
Turning to his side, he could see another baby with black and white striped hair, a chubby face, cat-like ears, and blue eyes.
"Abababbaa," the baby girl greeted in gibberish.
'Greetings to you too,' Draco replied in his thoughts.
'I am Draco, and you must be Clair right?,' he questioned in confirmation, then extended his tail towards her.
"Ababababa," Clair replied in gibberish that he didn't bother deciphering.
'What the heck am I doing? I should be planning my future,' Draco wondered before he suddenly felt a wet sensation on his tail.
Turning back toward Clair, he saw her stuffing his tail into her mouth.
'I don't think that's healthy,' he thought, quickly withdrawing his tail from her mouth.
Clair looked like she was about to cry the moment he withdrew his tail, but she soon spotted her own tail and began playing with it.
'Sigh, I should just try moving around or think of complicated things to tire myself out,' Draco concluded.
There was nothing to do and no one that could understand his words anyway.
He could only poop, eat, and sleep for the next few months.
While lost in thought, Clair had come to the conclusion that she couldn't put her tail in her mouth. It was just a bit short of reaching her mouth.
Looking to her side, she could see another juicy tail just waiting to enter her mouth, so she mustered the strength to roll as close as she could to Draco.
Soon her efforts paid off, and she managed to snag his tail for herself.
Draco couldn't really resist as his body didn't have the energy to roll away like her.
He was only a few days old while she was at least 2 months old, so he expended all his energy trying to repel her.
A few hours later...
"Oh my, would you look at that, they look so adorable together," Chise commented upon seeing Draco and Clair cuddled together asleep.
"Yeah, they are cute," Rose nodded in agreement.
"What should I do? Should I leave him here to sleep more or take him home with me?" Chise asked.
"It's best to leave him here for now. You don't know how hard it will be to get him to sleep again," Rose replied.
"Ah, I should probably return home. Mark should be worried," Chise whispered, trying not to wake the children.
She had been away from the house for a few hours now without letting Mark know where she went. Hurriedly, she exited the room to get back home.
"Sigh, she is still such a scatterbrain," Rose muttered as she watched Chise leave the room.
Upon arriving home, she saw Mark in his work study.
Mark was an architect, so even in their small home, he had a room specifically for work.
"Sorry, darling, I was at Rose's house with Draco," Chise apologized to her husband.
"It's okay, I had a feeling that you might be there," Mark replied.
"So how did the talk with the village chief go?" Chise asked.
"It went fine, Draco is now officially our son," Mark replied.
"Mwah!! Mwah!! Thank you," Chise said after planting some kisses on Mark's lips.
Mark, not satisfied with just that, pulled her in for a deeper and longer kiss.
Huff!! Huff!!
They both gasped for air due to the intensity of their kiss.
"I should probably go back to check on Draco," Chise whispered. She could feel the hunger in Mark's eyes for her body.
"Oh, I see," Mark replied, a bit disappointed. He was expecting a more steamy development.
"Don't look like that, we will have some fun tonight," Chise seductively whispered in his ears.
Her hot breath brushing against his furry ears. Her palm brushing against his pants, deeply arousing him.
Mark struggled to hold his rationality as the smell of her arousing pheromones graced his sensitive nostrils.
He was about to pounce on Chise but stopped himself when he heard her words.
"No, not now but tonight," Chise whispered and stopped stroking his pants. She then planted one more kiss on his lips and left the room.
Haaaaah!!
Mark exhaled the air trapped in his lungs. He was having a hard time calming down.
'Sigh, she is still as seductive as ever,' he thought while gazing at the door Chise had just departed from.
Eventually, Mark managed to calm himself down. He now had a new dilemma to contemplate.
'How do I introduce Draco to both our parents?' Mark pondered.
He had taken out a pen and paper to write a letter to both his and Chise's parents, but the words just weren't coming to mind.
'I think it's best that I don't write to them now. I should probably do so after trying out the potions with Chise. If it works and she conceives, then that would be double good news when I write to them,' Mark concluded.
He then put away the pen and paper that he had brought out.
He now needed to continue drawing the plans for a new wall after consulting with the village chief after talking about the new addition to his family.
The village chief brought up the need for a wall after what happened less than a year ago.
A group of patrolling village hunters had run into a bloodsaurus during the monthly monster subjugation.
The hunter group had all perished, sadly, Rose's husband, who was also his friend, perished too.
It had cost the village a lot of money to hire younger adventurers to help deal with it.
The village housed several retired adventurers, but most of them were low-levelled and way past their prime.
Though there was currently not enough money to build the walls, the village chief requested that preparations be made for one.
He now had an extra family member to protect and potentially more to come, fueling his eagerness to protect the village in the only way he could.
