Reborn to the Chaebol Family

It has been over 2 monthS since I won the art competition. Park dohyun has shown amazing results over these months. He has turned my 150 million won to 1 billion which isn't easy considering the times. 

Even grandpa praised him. The return has been good but I have found another opportunity which will not come even after decades which is Gold futures.

Latin American debt crisis will begin from next year due which all the money will flow into gold. If I was older and had a bigger capital I could have made so much from this opportunity, so I thought investing in a single thing due to capital restraint. 

Before the gold price starts to rise it will fall around 30% from $440 to $320 after October month. To maximize my return I was thinking of asking my Mom and dad to invest their money. Even if we are not at the same level of my uncle and aunt but we still are from chaebol family. I think I can get maybe 2 or 3 billion won more from them.

"Dad, do you have any friends that are in the finance industry" I asked my dad reading newspaper. " What happened daojun? Why do you want to know that?" dad asked back

"Actually dad, when grandpa was talking with his friends I heard that he is going to invest 100 billion won in gold futures. I was thinking if we can also invest in gold we will be able to get good returns" daojun said. " Then you can just ask Mr. Park to invest your money, why do you want me to introduce you to someone" dad asked back confused.

" Dad if I ask Mr. Park to invest grandpa will know and might get angry. Also to trade gold futures you need to go to America or London. I was thinking that Dad and Mom should also invest all their money" I tried persuading " Hmm. That is a good idea. Ok, I will talk with your mom and also ask my friend to come " " Yay, Thank you Dad" 

A week passed

"Daojun , This uncle is Oh Sehyeon. We used to study together in America. He is now working American company Invesco which is an investment management company " Dad introduced.

'Invesco, this company will be a $500 billion dollar investment management company. Oh Sehyeon in the future will be the head of the Asia branch so his capabilities are guaranteed. I need to make sure to catch this guy" Daojun thought

" Daojun right, your dad has roughly told me what you want to do but are you ready for the consequences. Gold future market is really big you can lose all your money that you have earned" Oh Sehyeon warned.

" Yes I am ready. Cause I am young and family is rich I want to try different things. Also my grandpa I investing 100 billion won and he runs the number one conglomerate in South Korea. So that fact already lessens the risks and cause my grandpa talks about important things around me I can get important information" Daojun said.

"Hmm, if you say it like that. It's true we have the advantage and we can make good return on this. Okay I will do it. So how much you are going to invest" Oh Sehyeon asked."Daojun will invest his 1 billion won and I will invest 5 billion won so, 6 billion won in total " Dad answered.

"Uncle I want you to do your own research on gold futures. That way will be more sure of the result" Daojun saiid " I was going to do that even if you didn't ask so don't worry" Oh Sehyeon said

"Uncle, what do you think we should do"I asked " I did my analysis and also asked around. I think gold will keep falling for few months. So we should sell gold futures." Oh Sehyeon said " Hmm. Grandpa also said the same thing. He told to start selling around $450 in the month of October" 

" That's good. Both of our thoughts are same so we shouldn't hesitate. I was thinking of using 10 times the leverage what do you think"Oh sehyeon said" I think that's to little. Since we are sure of this we should 50 times leverage. Also in gold futures 50 times is not that high"Daojun said " 50 times. Are you sure you could lose all your money. "

" I am sure. Our principal is small so that's why we have to use more leverage even grandpa is using 10 times leverage. If I want to became a owner of a conglomerate like Samsung I need to do this much at least" I said determined.

Oct 1981

"Daojun the gold has fallen to $430. Now we don't have to worry about losing our money. All the investment are now selling gold futures. You will make a lot of money" Oh Sehyeon said excitedly "That's great uncle. It's just starting to fall, now we need to keep holding on to it. Please focus on it to make sure nothing goes wrong" " Don't worry I will do that. Ok bye"

'Now the gold will keep falling if nothing goes wrong and then latin debt crisis will come due to which gold price. will soar. I am excited to see how much money I will make from this.' I Thought
