Reigning Supreme in Every Reality

Chapter 111: 110: Horror products from the world of Resident Evil

Wenwu appeared completely at ease.

This made Tony seem far less relaxed.

The slightly smug expression on his face turned serious.

Earlier, he had thought he had gained the upper hand.

But now it seemed that was merely Wenwu holding back his true strength in close combat.

By pulling away and creating distance, Tony realized he had made a foolish move.

Suddenly, Tony understood that Lyon's evaluation of this Ten Rings leader was entirely accurate.

A month ago, when he had first received the death notice, even a hundred of him wouldn't have been a match for this man.

Tony was starting to find this situation rather tricky.

But there was no way he could afford to lose face.

He shot back, "Does the grumpy old fossil still like asking people for candy? Fine, come on then—beat me, and I'll give you this piece of candy."

Wenwu gave a cold smile as the Ten Rings swirled around his hands.

His movements shifted, blending strength and grace. They were as sharp as autumn winds sweeping through fallen leaves, yet as fluid as a stream winding through mountain ravines.

The energy of the Ten Rings began to merge and intensify.

Suddenly, Wenwu unleashed a powerful punch.

The Ten Rings locked together, releasing a burst of brilliant blue energy that surged toward Tony.

Instinctively, Tony activated his thrusters to dodge, but the Ten Rings tracked his movements relentlessly.

He had no choice but to form a shield of fungal threads with both hands to defend himself.

However, when the shield clashed with the energy of the Ten Rings, it shattered instantly without resistance.

The black fungus disintegrated in the face of the terrifying energy, scattering in the air like dust.

Tony was sent crashing to the ground in a disheveled state.

When he stood back up, a large chunk of his armor at the chest was missing.

But with sufficient energy reserves, the fungal threads rapidly multiplied, repairing the armor's gap in mere seconds.

The fungi, a gift from the Resident Evil world, were undeniably remarkable in their efficiency.

Tony still vividly remembered...

In that other world, as he fought alongside the New Human Army to eradicate the zombie hordes...

Those super zombies, upon advancing to the third stage, would suddenly transform from a humanoid form into massive, mountain-like creatures without any warning.

It was as though they completely disregarded the fundamental laws of mass conservation.

Tony speculated that this phenomenon must have been unique to the Resident Evil world—a mysterious mechanism capable of converting energy into mass and vice versa.

Thus, by cultivating a new type of fungus, he managed to incorporate this mechanism into his armor.

Now, as long as he had sufficient energy, his armor could regenerate indefinitely, effectively rendering it indestructible.

"That punch really stung. I'll admit, you've got some skill for a grandpa," Tony said, twisting his neck to loosen up.

Once again, he formed a massive sword with the fungal threads in both hands.

Since Wenwu excelled at ranged combat, Tony knew he had to close the distance.

Even if it turned into a battle of attrition, it didn't matter.

The fungal battle armor absorbed energy from the arc reactor and, in turn, replenished his stamina.

Tony was fully confident he could keep this fight going for an entire day if necessary!

With a loud shout of "Come on!" Tony activated his thrusters, positioning his sword in front of him, and charged at Wenwu along the ground.

However, this time, Wenwu avoided close combat. Lightly tapping the ground with his foot, he glided backward gracefully, like a willow catkin carried by the wind.

"What the hell? Wenwu knows how to do Lightfoot Technique now?" Tony exclaimed.

Watching Wenwu's figure gliding across the grassland, Lyon felt as if he were watching a martial arts movie from his previous life.

Wenwu's movements were so graceful and fluid that Tony had no chance of catching up.

Despite his relentless pursuit, the distance between them remained unchanged.

Not only that, but Tony couldn't land a single hit on Wenwu, while Wenwu managed to use the Ten Rings to inflict injuries on him repeatedly.

However, Tony's body and armor, both boasting extraordinary regenerative abilities, made him like an immovable mountain.

No matter how hard Wenwu struck, Tony always returned to peak condition.

After over ten minutes of fighting, one couldn't land a blow, and the other couldn't finish the fight.

Both were visibly frustrated.

Tony eventually gave up on close combat.

His hands switched forms again, transforming into laser emitters.

Two crimson laser beams began to arc around him, making him look like a Jedi Knight entering the fray.

Wenwu, meanwhile, stopped running and assumed a stance similar to Tai Chi, channeling the energy of the Ten Rings once more.

When the lasers collided with the energy of the Ten Rings, the lasers were effortlessly dispersed.

The ten overlapping rings, unrelenting in their momentum, slammed directly into Tony's chest.

Once again, the God Armor shattered into pieces, leaving the Arc Reactor a mangled heap of scrap.

Yet Tony, still airborne, casually pulled a new Arc Reactor from his pocket and affixed it to his chest. The Fungus God Armor instantly regenerated, good as new.

"Again and again…" Wenwu was clearly gritting his teeth in frustration.

He summoned the Ten Rings back to his hands, charged them with energy, and launched another attack.

This time, he relentlessly pursued Tony, launching continuous strikes.

Each time Tony's armor regenerated, the Ten Rings would strike again.

One flew through the air, while the other chased on the ground, the tides of battle shifting once more.

"Now this is what you'd call evenly matched," Lyon commented with a hint of admiration. "If Tony's combat skills were just a bit sharper, he might have already turned the tables."

In the blink of an eye, the fierce exchange between Tony and Wenwu had expanded beyond the grassland.

Wenwu occasionally took a blast head-on, while Tony was repeatedly struck by the Ten Rings and eventually knocked off a cliff.

Lyon wanted to follow after them, but Wenwu, without even turning back, tossed out a cold command before leaping off the cliff.

"Capture Tony Stark's brother. Let's see if he's willing to trade his armor for his brother's life!"

Well, now this just got interesting~

Lyon turned to see dozens of Ten Rings members, some in training uniforms, others dressed like ninjas, all glaring at him with menacing expressions.

"You know, I actually think we could just sit down and have a nice, calm conversation," Lyon suggested with a friendly shrug.

But the Ten Rings members were already drawing their weapons—guns cocked, swords unsheathed.

"Alright, I guess we'll do this the hard way, you fucks really don't who I am huh?" Lyon said as his eyes began to glow red.

"Wha—!!!!!!"

....

A moment later, amidst a chorus of pained cries, Lyon soared toward the cliff.

As he neared the edge, he heard a series of heavy, dull impacts coming from below.

Thud. Thud. Thud!

It sounded like a massive hammer smashing into the mountainside.

He even heard Wenwu shouting curses at what he called a "monster."

How much time had even passed?

It had just been 4 to 5 seconds!

So what the fuck was happening down there?

Lyon hovered in mid-air, flying toward the coastline, peering down below.

"Holy sh—!" he almost cursed out loud.

Where was Tony?

No, more accurately, was the Tony down there even still human?

At the boundary between the cliff and the shoreline, an immense expanse of pitch-black fungal growth had spread, covering the entire coastline.

From this vantage point, the cliffside was black, the waters below were black—everywhere Lyon looked, it was all consumed by those fungal threads.

The once-lush green foliage along the cliffs had been overtaken, reduced to dried, brittle husks.

Fish swimming in the water were ensnared by the fungus, and within moments, only their skeletal remains floated to the surface.

At the center of this black, despair-inducing fungal landscape stood a towering humanoid fungal entity, over ten meters tall.

And embedded within the chest of this massive fungal colossus was Tony.

His chest and face were exposed, but the rest of his body had fused seamlessly with the giant fungal form.

The massive fungal entity's limbs and head were connected to its main body by increasingly thick fungal tendrils.

When Tony moved his hand, the giant fungal body mirrored his movements.

However, the enormous fungal body lacked legs, rendering it immobile.

"Tony turned into a Resident Evil Tyrant!?" Lyon was dumbfounded.

But he quickly realized he was wrong. "Wait a minute—his consciousness is intact, and his body shows no signs of being corrupted. All of this seems to be under his control…"

"He's controlling the fungi to reproduce massively, draining the nutrients from the coastline to expand the fungal body and amplify his power."

"In other words, this isn't a Tyrant—it's a fungus-themed… Gundam!?"

"What the hell is this? Did Tony just pilot a Gundam?" Lyon smacked his own forehead in disbelief.

Tony's storyline had clearly gone off the rails.

Was this even Iron Man anymore?

Lyon couldn't wrap his head around it, but he knew one thing: this giant fungal battle suit was incredibly powerful.

Because at that moment, Tony, controlling the enormous fungal suit, slapped Wenwu square in the chest with a single swipe.

It was as if he had swatted a fly.

Tony's massive fungal battle suit effortlessly broke through the defense of the Ten Rings.

He even grabbed Wenwu by the ankle and smashed him against the ground repeatedly, as if kneading dough.

"The strength amplification is somewhere between five to ten times… This giant fungal suit's power is roughly around a thousand tons," Lyon estimated.

"Although it's a bit bizarre, it's undeniably effective…" He wasn't sure what else to say.

Within a few minutes, Wenwu let out a final, miserable scream before being reduced to a dry corpse, his life force completely absorbed by the fungi.

Tony exhaled a long breath of relief.

Glancing around, he then looked up at Lyon hovering in the sky. The exhaustion on his face disappeared immediately.

"Lyon!" Tony tilted his head and spread his arms wide. "What do you think? Did I blow your mind?"

"My Fungal God Battle Suit isn't bad, right? Took care of that Ten Rings leader with just a single slap!"

Lyon descended to the ground in front of Tony. "Well… I guess it worked."

"But what's your plan now? You can't just leave all these fungi here, right?"

"I can control their growth, don't worry."

With a thought, Tony willed the massive fungal structure clinging to his body to retreat like a receding tide.

He gestured toward the arc reactor on his chest, giving it a slight turn. "All I need to do is reverse the energy flow, and they'll lose their vitality quickly."

The arc reactor began to glow brightly.

The bioelectricity from the fungal mass started to reverse through Tony's body, converting into electrical energy.

Lyon could see the edges of the fungal mass along the shoreline already turning an ashen gray.

But his expression quickly darkened. "Wait a second. If you're converting all the bioenergy from such a massive area into electricity, your body might overload…"

"Ahhh!!"

Before he could finish, Tony let out a bloodcurdling scream.

The veins on Tony's chest bulged and ruptured, and his heart swelled dangerously, as if on the verge of exploding.

The overwhelming reverse energy flow was causing his body to operate far beyond its limits.

"Damn it." Lyon didn't hesitate. He grabbed Tony and yanked out the arc reactor, crushing it with his bare hands.

"I knew you couldn't be trusted."

He complained, heat rays erupted from his eyes, and with a few breaths, all the fungus were burned together with the cliffs and coasts.

The originally green coastline turned into a lava layer in the blink of an eye.

After being covered by sea water, only a dark stone wall was left.

Tony gasped and looked at this scene with a wry smile.

"It was originally under perfect control, but there was a little accident... I probably have to adjust the energy return path again."

Many parts of his body lit up with red light, and super regeneration began to take effect.

"Do you still want to do it next time? If you do it next time in Gundam form.."

"That form was cool, right?"

"Nope! don't do it."

Lyon took Tony to the ground and walked towards the location where the ten rings fell.
