Chapter 7: CHAPTER 7 : CHAPTER 7 The Unleashed Horror
"With the deaths of a significant number of Anbu ninjas, reports of an ambush on the Uchiha clan traveled quickly outside the barrier.
"I didn't know that the Uchiha were this powerful!"
After hearing what had happened, Danzo snorted coldly. The wind rustled through the trees, carrying the scent of pine and the distant sound of leaves whispering in the breeze.
He swiftly commanded the Anbu beside him, "Go and inform Hiruzen that Uchiha Itachi has betrayed us. Tell him to gather all ninja ranked Chunin and above. Today, we will wipe out the Uchiha Clan!"
"Yes!"
The Anbu vanished into the darkness.
"Come on, let's leave first!"
Danzo raised his hand and dashed through the barrier, joining the remaining few hundred elite Root ninjas.
As they entered the barrier, a deafening roar shattered the stillness of the night. The ground trembled beneath their feet, and the air was thick with tension.
Danzo raised his hand to halt the Root ninjas. His sharp eyes scanned the horizon, searching for the source of the sound.
In the distance, he saw a horrifying sight—a giant skeleton rising from the ground. Muscles and blood vessels quickly covered its skeletal frame, forming into a monstrous being that towered over the landscape, engulfing a radius of nearly 100 meters.
Feeling the terrifying power within, Danzo's pupils shrank suddenly.
"What kind of powerful ninjutsu is this?!" he muttered, his voice barely audible over the roaring wind.
For a moment, he hesitated, considering whether to wait for the Third Hokage. But then he remembered the newly obtained Sharingan eyes and the six unused Sharingan on his right arm. Confidence surged through him.
"Let's go!" Danzo shouted, rallying the group of Root ninjas. They sprinted toward the monstrous giant, their footsteps quick and determined.
Meanwhile, far away from the chaos, Obito landed on the ground, panting heavily as he stared in horror at Kaito's figure in the distance.
The mysterious and haughty demeanor he had previously maintained had faded away. His black robe was torn, revealing his battered body underneath. The mask on his face had shattered, split in two, exposing the distinct shapes of his Sharingan eyes. One eye emitted a strange white light, contrasting sharply with the red of his other eye.
Obito took a moment to catch his breath, his gaze fixed on Kaito with a mix of fear and calculation. The moonlight cast long shadows around them, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the night.
