"Devil Fruits?" Black Widow's gaze fell upon the colorful fruits displayed in the case before her. She raised an eyebrow. "So, are these the ones?"

To her surprise, even with all her experience and knowledge, she had never seen anything quite like these strange-looking fruits.

"As you can see," Rosh replied with a casual shrug.

Black Widow leaned in closer, studying the bizarre fruits with a mix of suspicion and intrigue. According to Fury, these fruits supposedly granted superhuman powers upon consumption. While she knew Fury wouldn't have sent her here if he hadn't believed there was some truth to the rumors, the fruits still looked utterly ridiculous.

"Wow, these are definitely... unique fruits. I've never seen anything quite like them," Black Widow muttered, voicing her genuine thoughts.

"So, where do these fruits come from? Are they a new variety your shop developed, or did you source them from somewhere?" she asked, trying to sound casual while fishing for more information.

"There's only one place in the world where you'll find Devil Fruits, and that's right here in this shop," Rosh responded smoothly.

"'One of a kind, huh?'" she repeated to herself, mentally noting this valuable detail. "I get it. So, these are a new variety your shop cultivated, right?" she speculated.

Rosh didn't confirm nor deny her assumption, simply letting it slide. Technically, she wasn't wrong. Then, Black Widow's eyes drifted to a nearby booklet. "Is that…a catalog? You made a guide specifically for these fruits?"

Spotting the Devil Fruit catalog piqued her curiosity instantly. "Mind if I take a look at that?" she asked Rosh for permission.

"Of course, be my guest," Rosh replied, gesturing politely while handing her the requested catalog. The catalog was made precisely for customers to browse, so there was no reason to refuse her.

"Thank you," she replied, accepting the catalog and flipping through it with keen interest. Her special agent training kicked in, and she mentally recorded every detail as she scanned through the descriptions.

"Devil Fruits are considered treasures of the sea, incarnations of sea demons. Eating a Devil Fruit grants the consumer a unique superpower."

'Sea demons? What does that mean?' she pondered, filing this curious phrase away in her mind. But as she continued reading, the catalog's description aligned with Fury's intelligence report: eating a Devil Fruit could indeed grant superhuman abilities.

"The Devil Fruits were divided into three categories: Zoan, Paramecia, and Logia. Zoan allowed the consumer to transform into animals or gain animal-like powers, Paramecia offered various mutant-like abilities, and Logia bestowed powers based on natural elements."

'There are so many fruits with such a wide variety of abilities, and they are all structured under a clear system.' The catalog's depth and organization surprised her. Even if this was a scam, it was an impressively elaborate one. If these fruits were real, Black Widow couldn't even imagine the scale of impact they could have on the city, perhaps even the world.

As she continued reading, another feature of the catalog caught her eye. She looked up at Rosh, a flash of interest in her gaze. "Shopkeeper, I see you offer samples that customers can try?"

"That's correct," Rosh nodded. "The samples allow customers to experience the power of the Devil Fruits for five minutes, just enough to get a feel for the abilities they provide."

"Fantastic!" Black Widow nodded, visibly pleased. The hefty price tag didn't faze her; Fury wouldn't care about the cost either, as long as the fruit delivered on its promise. But buying without verifying its legitimacy would have been a risk, and she had her reputation to maintain.

"Alright then, Shopkeeper, I'll need some time to decide. These fruits are so fascinating, I can barely take them all in," she said, and then went back to flipping through the catalog to carefully evaluate her options.

She quickly skimmed over the Zoan fruits; the idea of partial or full animal transformations held little appeal. And as for the Logia category, there doesn't seem to be anything available for sale yet. So, her focus landed squarely on the Paramecia fruits.

Her eye caught fruits like the Wax-Wax Fruit, which allowed the user to produce candle wax at will. She dismissed it immediately. 'What's the point of using candle wax?'

Then, there was the Cage-Cage Fruit, which could create barriers and traps. Handy for law enforcement, perhaps, but her own skills far surpassed such basic utilities.

She then continued down the list—Spring-Spring Fruit, Bubble-Bubble Fruit, Spin-Spin Fruit—all these curious abilities unfolded in the pages, revealing a whole new and fascinating world.

But then…one fruit caught her attention. Black Widow's eyes paused at the description, and she felt a spark of genuine interest for the first time. This Devil Fruit—its powers seemed perfectly tailored for her.
