A beam of white light cast near them in the void materialized into a handsome silver-haired man. His gaze swept over both individuals before extending his right hand to retrieve two Jade Brands and tossed them:

“Catch.”

They instinctively caught the Jade Brands; a purifying light flew out from them, spreading outward. Both felt a shiver down their spine as a black mist spewed from their eyes. In the next second, the purifying light enveloped them, forming a constantly twisting ball of light.

Before long, the light dissipated, revealing the two with clarity restored to their eyes, retaining full memory of what had just transpired and knowing well that they had been under some power’s control.

The two bowed to the silver-haired man:

“Thank you, Senior, for your help!”

The silver-haired man graciously accepted their thanks and waved his hand, saying:
