The Family of Time Travel Has an Ugly Wife

Chapter 90

Lian Zhou made up a bloody story about Shan Yu, who was in chaos and almost given up life. Years later, he encountered Wan Qiu on the street, which led to a change in his mind.

While this story made Father and Mother Shan feel indebted to Wan Qiu and the child, it also caused Shan Yu’s image to plummet.

On the day the paternity test results came out, Father Shan and Mother Shan confirmed it several times: “Are you sure? Don’t be fooled by those two brats. How could a grown man give birth to a child?”

“The test was done in our hospital, and I had people following the process. The child is indeed related to Wan Qiu and Shan Yu.”

“No, we have to do it again.” Shan Yu had lost his trust, and Father Shan didn’t believe in Lian Zhou either. He thought about it and finally said, “Call Shan Yu back and let him do it again. This time I need to see all the process.”

Mother Shan hesitated a little, “We’ve already done it once with Wan Qiu. Wouldn’t it be bad to do it again? The child looks exactly like our son. He looks like he was carved from the same Mold, so there’s no need for another test, right? It’s not worth bothering a family over this.”

“This matter concerns the blood of the Shan family. Do you want to be the grandmother of a child of unknown origin?”

“Our son wouldn’t be that confused. If it were really someone else’s child, how could he say it’s his own flesh and blood?”

“Ha!” Father Shan sneered, “Whether he’s confused or not, we won’t know until the identification results come out.”

Later, the DNA test results showed that Shan Yu was not confused at all.

The paternity index between the child, Shan Yu, and Wan Qiu was 99.99%, confirming a parent-child relationship.

Shan Yu was completely confused.

Wan Qiu had already been pregnant when he travelled through time. He had never laid a finger on Wan Qiu, let alone anything else. Even if the child was his own, it was merely a tadpole swimming out of the original owner’s body. What did Shan Yu have to do with it?

Shan Yu looked at the paternity report and strongly requested to do it again.

He didn’t mind Wan Qiu’s past and was willing to treat Wan Qiu and the original owner’s child as his own. However, he was unwilling to admit that the child was his own because it implied that the original owner was most likely himself in another life.

Shan Yu couldn’t believe he could be such a bastard and was deeply troubled.

The most unacceptable thing was…

If he really was the same person as the original owner, wasn’t it ridiculous that he insisted on not touching Wan Qiu? Thinking about the countless wonderful nights he had denied himself, it all seemed in vain.

Lian Zhou laughed at Shan Yu from the side, unable to stop.

If the original owner was indeed one of his past lives, could he still regard that time travel as just a dream?

Lian Zhou went home in a daze but was stopped by his elder brother: “Where have you been?”

Lian Zhou turned around, his eyes fixed on the handsome face of Lian Lou for a moment, then rushed toward him with red eyes.

“Brother!”

Lian Lou was pushed back a step, frowned, and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Lian Zhou shook his head, laying in Lian Lou’s arms and sniffing: “I will definitely listen to you in the future. Brother, please don’t die.”

Lian Lou’s frown deepened. “Who bullied you?”

“With you here, who dares to bully me?”

“Then what’s wrong with you?” Lian Lou clasped Lian Zhou’s chin and made him look up. His eyes were heavy. “Why are you crying? Did you quarrel with Shan Yu? Or is it because he suddenly has a sweetheart and you can’t stand it?”

Lian Zhou was stunned. The tears in his eyes fell on Lian Lou’s strong fingers, and he smiled, saying, “Brother, what are you talking about? I’m fine. Why can’t I cry? It’s too late for me to be unhappy that Shan Yu has a sweetheart. How could I be upset? I don’t like Shan Yu. Don’t even think about it.”

Lian Lou looked slightly relieved. “Then why are you crying?”

“I had a nightmare. In the dream, I did something wrong and killed you…”

“Oh?”

“So, I will be obedient from now on, and you should live well.”

Lian Lou raised an eyebrow, placed his fingers on Lian Zhou’s waist, and asked, “Are you so afraid of my death?”

“Of course. You are my brother.” Lian Zhou looked at him and hugged him tightly. “You are the most important to me.”

Lian Lou tightened his grip, rested his chin on Lian Zhou’s forehead, and asked again, “How does it compare with Shan Yu?”

.

When the Chinese New Year approached, Grandpa Shan returned from an inspection trip abroad and arranged a formal meeting.

In the tallest tower in Sky City, people could see the night view of the entire city from the observation deck.

Wan Qiu, with calm and a gentle, clean demeanour, sat next to Grandpa Yaba, sipping coffee. White steam filled the tip of his nose as he looked nervously at others.

Grandpa Shan already knew the whole story. He handed the little bun sleeping in his arms to the housekeeper behind him and said sincerely to Grandpa Yaba, “In-laws, it’s because we were not good at raising our children that we allowed the brat to do such a terrible thing. It was really unfair for Wan Qiu to care for the child alone. If the brat hadn’t told the truth, we as adults wouldn’t have been able to do anything about it. If there is anything I did wrong, I hope you will forgive me.”

It was evident that Shan Yu had a good tutor, and the elders were also reasonable and upright people. Grandpa Yaba hurriedly gestured that it didn’t matter, as long as the children could live a good life.

Everyone was satisfied with each other and happily finalized the engagement and subsequent wedding matters.

After finishing the meal…

Grandpa Shan took the little bun into his car, satisfied, on the grounds that it was difficult for the little bun to move while he was already asleep.

Mother Shan held Wan Qiu’s hand and said, “I have wronged you these years. If Shan Yu dares to bully you in the future, just tell me, and I will help you deal with him.”

Wan Qiu had never seen a mother-in-law so kind and willing to speak to her daughter-in-law like that. He had prepared himself to be disciplined. Hearing what Mother Shan said, he was a bit at a loss and moved. “Thank you, Auntie!”

“What did you call me, aunt? Call me mom.”

“Mom.”

.

The worry that Wan Qiu had been carrying for several nights finally eased, and he leaned against Shan Yu’s arms, squinting for a while.

Drowsily, as if someone was picking him up, Wan Qiu reluctantly opened his eyes and saw Shan Yu’s handsome face appearing just a few centimetres away, with every eyelash visible.

“Take a shower now? Or wash up later?” Shan Yu laid on Wan Qiu’s body, his hands wandering restlessly, and his breath grew hotter by the moment.

Wan Qiu blushed slightly and pushed Shan Yu’s shoulder, which felt as heavy as a wall.

“Forget it, no need for wash up. I don’t dislike you anyway,” Shan Yu said to himself as he removed the hairpin from Wan Qiu’s head, letting his waterfall of black hair fall onto the white sheets. With his other hand, he reached into the lapel of Wan Qiu’s clothes.

“Uh~ Husband…” Wan Qiu didn’t have time to say more before being silenced by a wet and hot kiss.

Today was a good day.

The two had received support and blessings from their elders and would soon become husband and wife. There were things Shan Yu had wanted to do for a long time.

The belt dragged the black suit pants to the floor, revealing the long and powerful legs underneath.

Shan Yu’s clear eyes suddenly became deep-set. He bit Wan Qiu’s collarbone and was pushed.

“Husband,” Wan Qiu, naked and blushing, asked in a low voice, “We are not married yet. Can we wait a little longer?”
