The Happiness of Deidara in Naruto

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: One Against Three

Chapter 13: One Against Three

Daidara did not speak, just quietly watching, but his demeanor greatly annoyed Makiru. He was so furious that he wished he could rush over and kill Daidara! The other two felt the same way; although they weren't as furious as Makiru, their anger was evident in their eyes.

However, the Tsuchikage Onoki noticed Daidara's intentions. These three kids, although talented, were still young and unable to handle the pressure. Daidara, on the other hand, was a clever child who could think on his feet.

Even so, Onoki did not reveal this but also couldn't let Daidara go too far. So he spoke up, "Alright, the match begins!"

Upon hearing the signal, Daidara immediately jumped back to create distance. He formed hand seals and, at the moment he landed, struck the ground with his palm, using "Earth Release: Earth Spike!"

Multiple earth spikes shot up between the three of them, forcing them to split apart in order to dodge. However, while evading, they kept their eyes fixed on Daidara, who showed no signs of leaving them unscathed.

This was the lesson they learned from earlier; Daidara had set traps on multiple occasions before. He used this opportunity to secretly complete some additional hand seals and left behind an earth clone, leading them to believe that was the real Daidara. They charged in to attack, only to fall into the trap and be defeated by Daidara's "Earth Release: Heart Decapitation Technique."

Therefore, they were extremely cautious; upon seeing Daidara remain docile and not forming more hand seals, they finally relaxed slightly.

At this moment, Daidara seemed to be reaching behind him, seemingly preparing for a ranged attack with his ninja tools or perhaps a physical confrontation. However, he was actually secretly performing single-handed hand seals behind his back.

This was a result of Daidara's training over the past three years. He had researched seals a lot and developed the technique for single-handed hand seals, which only he could use. He had tried to teach Kurotsuchi, but it had not been successful.

"Earth Release: Earth Clone Technique!" From the perspective behind, one Daidara appeared to dive into the ground as if swimming through water, while the above Daidara threw several shurikens towards Makiru and his teammates.

Huo Guang had just stabilized himself, and although he had been quick in taking the initiative, he was confident that his own jutsu was also quite powerful. Although he planned to save his trump card for last, he believed releasing it now would yield decent results.

"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet Technique!" A dragon head formed in front of Huo Guang, opening its mouth to unleash countless earth shards.

Daidara feigned surprise, seeming frozen by the scene before him, not attempting to evade at all. Huo Guang was dumbfounded—did he just knock Daidara out?

No, there was a trap! Realizing the danger when he saw the clone turn into white mud, Huo Guang quickly jumped back, but it was too late.

A hand shot up from the ground, grabbing Huo Guang's ankle as Daidara's voice echoed, "Earth Release: Heart Decapitation Technique!"

Huo Guang still couldn't believe it—when did Daidara form the seals? If it were a one-on-one fight, it would be over by now, but this was one against three.

Suddenly, a hand appeared from behind a rock and grabbed Daidara's arm as Dashi emerged, straining to pull Daidara up from underground. Huo Guang had temporarily escaped.

With a splash, a figure appeared. Dashi smiled, pleased that his camouflage invisibility technique had worked; although only for a minute, the effects were beginning to show.

Next, he just needed to wait for Makiru's combo to completely defeat Daidara.

Sure enough, eight shadow clones of Makiru appeared, surrounding Daidara from all angles, launching a synchronized assault.

"Baguazhong, combined physical technique!" Makiru shouted as all eight clones attacked, hitting Daidara on his chest, lower abdomen, back of the neck, knee, ribs, and back. A regular person might not die from being hit in those places, but they would be rendered incapacitated. However, a ninja's body was not ordinary; Makiru reckoned that a ninja specialized in physical combat might faint, but Daidara was no ordinary ninja!

With the belief that they could take him down, Makiru thought.

But the sensation in the places he struck felt the same? No way; different parts of a person's body shouldn't feel identical!

Immediately, he saw Daidara's color change and the white mud clone was plastered with explosive tags that were beginning to ignite.

"Not good, it's a trick! Get back!"

With a bang, smoke erupted, engulfing the entire area. Makiru's physical prowess kicked in, and he burst out of the smoke. Before he could even warn the other two, a scream pierced the air, followed by the sounds of an assault and the thud of a heavy object hitting the ground.

As the smoke cleared, Daidara stepped out slowly, one hand supporting Huo Guang and the other holding Dashi, saying, "Hehe, you guys thought I'd get flustered being a trickster? Don't forget, I've trained in physical combat too! That idiot Huo Guang got knocked out in one hit."

"Though Dashi's physical skills are decent, they still weren't enough for me to defeat him." Daidara continued, "Now, it's just you and me, Makiru!"

"Daidara-sama is powerful!" "Daidara-sama is majestic!" "Daidara, I love you!" The cheers for Daidara erupted, but Makiru showed no signs of giving up.

Daidara moved the two to the side, preparing for a showdown against Makiru, who was not taking the opportunity to attack.

"Daidara, I know you're strong, but just now I merely used my usual strength; I have a trump card left. If you can defeat me, I'll admit defeat!" Makiru declared.

Daidara rolled his eyes and retorted, "I've already beaten you; do I need your admission of defeat?"

But just as Daidara was mocking him, Makiru charged in without warning, reaching Daidara in an instant and throwing a punch.

"Damn it, are you sneaky!?" Daidara yelled.

Makiru chuckled nonchalantly, "Hehe, you can play sly, can't I?" He continued his assault, raining punches and kicks on Daidara, who was caught off guard and struggled to keep up. This not only indicated how unexpected the sudden attack was, but it also showed Makiru's physical strength.

With a heavy punch aimed at Daidara's chest, Makiru's strike was blocked by Daidara's crossed arms. The attack was thwarted, but the force still pushed Daidara backward.

Just as Daidara steadied himself, Makiru charged again, and Daidara heard a gust of wind behind him, turning just in time to see another Makiru appearing, launching a whip kick at him.

A hidden clone!? Daidara realized he had been deceived.

There was no time to dodge; Daidara had to brace himself for the incoming kick, which sent him careening towards another Makiru.

That Makiru swiftly wrapped his arms around Daidara, locking him in place. Understanding dawned on Daidara, "So you were the real one!"

The one who kicked laughed coldly, "Now you know, it's too late! Blood Transformation Explosion!!"

Surrounded by a red haze, Makiru's attack sent Daidara and his clone flying.
