Chapter 6-2
Ji Xiuyun soon noticed that Yue An was not interested in learning but he was being very patient. He said, “Your real name is not White.
That means, after learning, you can tell me your real name.
Feeling that they were connecting, Yue An’s ear started to tingle a bit. Suddenly revived, he found his lost spirit back again.
“These three mean Ji.”
“Meow!”
“The pronunciation is…”
“Meow!”
“Well, next…”
“Meow!”
Nowadays, Yue An would waste his spiritual power every few hours just to take advantage of biting into the spirit stones, he couldn’t help but wrap himself up in the warmth aura the stones pour out.
Ji Xiuyun would wear his waterproof suit every day to go out and confirm that the water level was safe.
Both the man and the cat were locked inside the cabin due to the non-stop heavy rain, so now they had plenty of time to learn and so their progress was swift.
Over the past few days, Yue An discovered that the temperament of Ji Xiuyun was quite good even though he may appear to be a bit aloof.
But on the other hand when Ji Xiuyun would discover about the cat he would take out his notebook, specifically dedicated to records the habits of Yue An.
For instance, the cat’s cleanliness, or if he was spitting the hairy balls. He would also record how occasionally Yue An would count his eight tails and after finishing his counts he would hide the seven others, leaving only one tail visible and resentfully shrinking into a ball.
Yue An likes to sleep in especially warm places, would chase after his own tail, and his enthusiasm to catch anything that moves.
But what surprised Ji Xiuyun the most was the abilities that Yue An possessed.
Yue’an’s ability ranged from digging a pit to setting fire, from knocking over the water or blowing the wind. Yue An could even merge thunderbolts and icicles, which created several deep paw prints on the wall of the cabin. They were all marked by his uncontrollable strength.
Every time Ji Xiuyun saw paw prints, he felt that he really needed to appreciate the fact that Yue An didn’t kill him.
Yue An never tried to attack him, and if he was angry he would pat the Marshal with his paws or turn his butt against him rather than using his abilities.
The Marshal moved his eyes from the paw prints, turned his head and looked at Yue An, who was patting his hand.
Yue An watched the Marshal, turned his head and pressed a few buttons on the console.
Marshal looked over, “…Yue?”
“Meow.” Yue An pressed a few other keys.
“An?”
The little white cat swayed his tail happily, “Meow!”
“Yue An?” Ji Xiuyun doubted, but he confirmed himself in two seconds. “Is that your name?”
“Meow!”
Yue An.
Marshal Ji licked his lips, squinted his eyes which appeared to be fierce, but reluctantly revealed an expression, which was supposed to be a smile.
Then reached out and patted Yue An’s head.
Yue An let the Marshal touch him for a while, then jumped off the console, walked towards the small cabinet to get the spice bag, and scratched the door.
Unfortunately, Ji Xiuyun told him: “All the spices were used up.”
”…?”
As if struck by lightning, Yue An turned his head and looked at the. Marshal, who was inserting the chip in front of the console, and cried fiercely “Meow.”
It is alright if there are no Spirit Stones!
But now there is no barbecue, either!
God!
A cat’s life has become meaningless!
Yue An sat in front of the cabinet, dispirited, and so curled into a ball.
Ji Xiuyun had the habit of checking the news in his invisible tab, and after completing his verification, he walked to Yue An, gently poked the cat, “There is still some food left.”
Yue An looked up at him.
In fact, apart from nutrients, the safety cabin was stored with dozens of compressed fast foods which tasted pretty good.
These foods were stored in order to uplift the pessimistic thought of an escaping personnel in the cabin. After all, in the face of difficulties, the delicacy could make a person feel a bit better.
“Meow!”
Yue An placed his paws on the knees of the Marshal and pleaded with his two shiny eyes.
Ji Xiuyun got up, and just when he was about to take out the food, he saw a message appear on the screen.
That was his OTP.
The Marshal suddenly got up, noted the OTP and then deleted the message and pulled out his chip. He then opened the communication system of the safety cabin and entered the verification code.
Yue An, who was laying in front of the cabinet, looked at the Marshal, who had promised to get food but was engaged in other business, so he mumbled, climbed and walked over him.
The person at the other end of the communication port seemed to have waited for a long time, and the screen was turned on as soon as the verification was sent.
The person that appeared on the screen was Ji Xiuyun’s assistant.
He was excited, to the point where his face was almost plastered to the screen. “Marshal! How are you doing?”
Yue An, on hearing this, went to the side of Ji Xiuyun’s leg and looked up at him.
He obviously felt that Ji Xiuyun as a person has changed.
His whole body was changed, from the scent of leisure, it was replaced by a spine chilling cold air, making Yue An’s whole body stiff frozen.
The person in front very much deserved the title of a Marshal.
Ji Xiuyun seemed to be around thirty, young and energetic, totally different from the typical image of a Marshal who was basically middle-aged in Yue’an’s impression.
It turned out that, during the decades he was gone, the earth has not only developed new words but also entered the new era of the universe, but the highest ranks were so unremarkable.
Yue An shook his body to smoothen out the erected hair, then pulled out his claws and started climbing the Marshal
The assistant behind the screen was still inquiring.
“What injuries do you have? Do you need a medic? Replenishment? How is the environment there, is it safe? Is the remaining material in the cabin sufficient? And…”
Marshal Ji did not answer. He noticed the movement of the little cat on his leg, picked it up and placed the cat on the console. Then interrupted the deputy’s words, in his cold voice “Position.”
“Yes, Sir! The first legion is currently stationed at the Thirteenth Star, the capital star!” The assistant reflexively straightened his back. The next second he gazed at the white cat who was sitting on the console, his face full of curiosity and doubt.
The Marshal who was not ready to answer his questions, directly ordered “Dismiss the whole army camp, return back to the Emperor Star, and send a D-class survey ship when passing through the 22nd planet of S13 galaxy.”
“Yes, Sir!”
“Also,” Mr. Marshal glanced at Yue An, who tilted his head and looked at the screen, his tail swaying behind the Marshal, added: “Prepare some snacks on the battleship and put them directly in my bedroom.”
When he finished his command, the marshal hung up.
Deputy” ? ?”
Deputy” ? ?”
What?
Snacks? ?
Did the Marshal hurt his head? !
The deputy was instantly scared.
