THE STRONGEST CREATURE OF THE BEAST PIRATES

Chapter 50: CHAPTER 50

"If you die, I won't… Huh, you bad guy, you can't die so easily."

Alastor smiled, stepped forward, and wiped the sweat from Yamato's forehead. He said:

"You're tired. Hey, don't use the mace—I'm not taking this opportunity to kiss you..."

"Okay, to be serious, Yamato, you've been freed now, but you can't leave Onigashima just yet. You have something more important to do!"

Yamato still looked angry and snapped, "What's that?"

"Convince your old man, Kaido."

Alastor spoke slowly:

"Yamato, if you want to become the Shogun of Wano, you can't do it without convincing Kaido. Of course, Kaido won't stop you from becoming the Shogun—he'll actually be happy about it—but the Shogun he envisions for you would turn all of Wano into a weapons factory. That's very different from our goal of improving the situation in Wano."

Yamato's expression turned serious. This was indeed a major issue.

Although she calls herself Oden, Yamato knew she was still no match for Kaido, and wasn't really Oden after all.

"What should I do? That old man's mind is full of mud. I can only beat him up—I can't convince him."

"It's simple. Just say it your way."

Alastor smiled mysteriously, his eyes gleaming with confidence.

"I'll have someone very important to Kaido help you. With their words, I'm at least 80% sure we can convince Kaido."

"That's it, Yamato. I'll let you know when the time comes."

Alastor said his goodbyes to Yamato. It was time for him to return to Kuri and recover from his injuries.

Yamato quietly watched Alastor's back, her gaze softer than it had been moments before, the anger replaced by a tender look.

When Alastor was completely out of sight, she whispered to herself:

"It's a good thing you came back alive. Why would you even ask me that, idiot? If you die, I'll be alone again. What's the point of being free?"

[Host: Alastor]

[Age: 20]

[Defense Power: 3620]

Yamato's strength was formidable, easily breaking through Alastor's defenses, especially now that she wasn't shackled and could transform into her hybrid form, the True nine tail.

But even so, Yamato was still far from being able to defeat Kaido.

Therefore, if she was to challenge Kaido's original intentions, she would need to approach it strategically.

Alastor's eyes gleamed as he returned to the Chief Executive's mansion in Kuri.

First, he ordered his subordinates to bring a large amount of food. While eating, he casually told Billy:

"Starting today, Paradise Farm no longer has to deliver food to Orochi."

Billy was surprised. For more than ten years, Orochi had received tribute food from the farm, so why the sudden change?

However, Billy wisely didn't ask questions and simply followed Lord Alastor's order, without any doubt.

Now that his bounty had risen to 660 million Berries, Alastor seemed to have the highest bounty among the Flying Six.

Moreover, he had defeated Cracker, who had a bounty of more than 800 million, from Big Mom's crew. Although the defeat was largely due to the restraint of his powers, Cracker's loss was humiliating. However, the public didn't care about that.

Most importantly, in order to allow his subordinates to escape first, Alastor had even faced Whitebeard, the strongest man in the world, who was equal in strength to Kaido. This act of bravery and kindness had earned the sincere respect and admiration of all the Beasts Pirates.

Though Alastor had had no other choice at the time.

In any case, Alastor's authority within the Beasts Pirates was now nearly equal to that of the Three Calamities, and may even have surpassed theirs in terms of admiration and influence.

This power made it easier for Alastor to carry out his plan to change Wano Country.

His injuries healed quickly, and after changing his clothes, he picked up a delicious snack and went to visit the young girl Tama.

Alastor had once recognized Tama as his younger sister, mainly to increase his leverage. In case of any emergency, he could use Tama's Dango Dango no Mi powers to directly control the Beast Pirates.

But now, that was no longer necessary.

For those under him, Alastor's strength alone was enough to command their loyalty.

However, Tama's abilities were still very useful for another group: the Mink Tribe, living on the back of the giant elephant!

The Mink Tribe was born with the ability to generate electricity and could transform into powerful Moon Lions on full moon nights, a force that should not be underestimated.

Alastor knew that in the future, he would have to fight against the Navy and the World Government, but his current forces were too small. Even with more than 30,000 members in the Beasts Pirates, it was nowhere near enough to challenge the Navy.

If he could use Tama's fruit to win over the Mink Tribe, it would greatly bolster his forces without worrying about loyalty—an ideal situation.

With this plan in mind, Alastor arrived at Tama's hut.

Upon seeing him, Tama rushed over, excited.

"Brother!"

Alastor smiled, scooping her up into his arms, and gently scratched her nose.

"I brought you some delicious snacks, little one."

"Wow, it looks so tasty! Thank you, brother!"

Tama's eyes sparkled as she happily devoured the treat.

Alastor smiled warmly and said, "The Capital of Flowers has a lot of delicious food. How about we go there to eat sometime?"

Tama eagerly nodded, then paused, her expression turning serious.

"But the Capital of Flowers is Lord Orochi's territory. We can't go there."

"Not anytime soon," Alastor said meaningfully, before glancing at Kozuki Sukiyaki, who was glaring at him from behind the door. He sneered.

"The world won't stop moving just because of the delusions of trash."

With that, he stood up and said his goodbyes to Tama.

He had already planned to take her to the Capital of Flowers once Yamato became Shogun.

Island of Onigashima

Drought Jack, groggy from a hangover, was approached by Sheepshead:

"Master Jack, Lord Alastor invited you to Kuri. He says he wants to report the recent developments there."

Although Alastor was essentially in charge of Kuri, Jack was still the nominal overseer.

Jack said disapprovingly,

"If you have anything to report, don't bother with Alastor's work."

Jack had grown more and more appreciative of Alastor as a subordinate. Alastor was tough and resilient in his dealings with Whitebeard, displaying the same kind of fierceness that Jack admired in himself.

Sheepshead looked hesitant and replied, "From what Lord Alastor implied, it seems like there's something else important."

"Oh?" Jack raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised. He then said simply, "In that case, I'll go to Kuri and see for myself."

Arriving at Kuri:

Alastor came out to greet him. Once they entered the house, Alastor got straight to the point:

"Master Jack, what do you think of the current development of our Beasts Pirates?"

Jack stared at him blankly for a moment, not responding.

He was a fighter, not a strategist. All he ever thought about was charging forward—he had never considered the bigger picture.

Alastor didn't push him, and instead spoke in a serious tone:

"Master Jack, let me be frank. The development of our Beasts Pirates is too slow. We've only got more than 30,000 troops, which is less than half of what the Whitebeard Pirates command!"

"As for the Smile Fruit, which Boss Kaido has high hopes for, the success rate for people to gain abilities is too low. We don't even have 500 people in the Giver Legion yet."

"If this keeps up, when will we catch up to the Whitebeard Pirates, let alone face the Navy, who can muster at least hundreds of thousands of troops?"

Jack froze.

Though he was more inclined to fight than strategize, he understood that what Alastor said seemed to be true.

But his response was:

"It doesn't matter. No matter how many enemy troops there are, I'll kill them all!"

Alastor was taken aback. If the Navy sent even three or two admirals, would Jack really be able to defeat them?

The way Jack thought was so different from ordinary people's.

Alastor had no choice but to say:

"Master Jack's strength is unquestionable, but you can't fight everything yourself. We need to increase our number of troops—it's the best solution."

"We manufacture so many weapons in Wano, but if we don't have enough people to use them, what's the point?"

"This is about whether Boss Kaido can become the Pirate King!"

Jack was extremely loyal to Kaido. As long as he could help Kaido become the Pirate King, he'd do anything.

Making weapons, increasing the army, using the weapons, starting wars—if it gave Kaido the advantage, then the title of Pirate King would be his.

Jack, following this logic, stood up, nodding:

"I'm going to tell Boss Kaido right now."

He hurriedly left the room.

Alastor couldn't help but smile, a small grin spreading across his face.

That's right, Drought Jack was the key person he had mentioned to Yamato earlier.

As a top-tier Kanban member chosen personally by Kaido, and still under thirty years old, Jack had much room to grow.

Kaido placed great importance on him.

In the original timeline, Jack was beaten to the ground by Inuarashi and Cat Viper in their Moon Lion forms. It was Kaido who personally came to his rescue, comforting Jack and telling him not to blame himself.

This time, with Jack's help, and the strategy devised by Alastor and Yamato, it was almost certain that they would be able to convince Kaido.

At the Same Time, as Jack Returns to Onigashima:

Alastor contacted Yamato.

Yamato immediately set off, kicking down Kaido's newly built palace door and shouting:

"Kaido! I, Joyboy, am back!"

Because Jack had mentioned that he had something important to report, and everyone had been drinking the night before, the Three Calamities and the Flying Six were all gathered in the palace at that moment.

When Yamato kicked down the door and entered, Jack immediately fell silent. King, Queen, Who's-Who, and the others quickly moved aside.

At the same time, they all braced themselves, prepared to flee. After all, they didn't want to get caught up in the brutal battle of fatherly love and daughterly filial piety that had unfolded the day before.

Kaido hiccupped, rubbing his temples, and glared at Yamato.

"My head is pounding, and I haven't sobered up yet. Yamato, are you here to sober me up? Or do you think I really won't kill you?"

Yamato pressed her slender mace heavily on the ground, her aura stronger than it had been the day before. She gritted her teeth and said:

"You're the most inhuman, stinking old man in history! You can even kill your own children! The handcuffs you used to restrain me actually exploded! Damn it, I can't stop myself from wanting to beat you up when I think about it!"

Kaido threw his head back and laughed loudly.

"War is ruthless, and you've chosen to stand against me? Don't be so naïve, Yamato!"!
