The Walking Dead : Lee Everett

Lee walked towards the main gate, Luckily the place wasn't overrun by Walkers, Lee opened the gate as he walked towards the door, and started ringing the doorbell.

He didn't hold much hope for Sandra's mother to be alive.

Sandra, a 19-year-old girl worked as a babysitter out of habit, She was 5'8" tall and had a slender build, She Wasn't too pretty but not Ugly either, Though Lee was happy that she didn't die like she did in the OG.

Now She can look after Clementine and he wouldn't have to bother himself too much with it, His parents also took a liking to the kid which only eased his worries.

Lee was about to start knocking on the door but turned suddenly as he heard footsteps behind him, The next thing he knew was that there was a knife just a centimeter away from his left eye which was stopped because of Lee's quick reflex in holding her hand and also because the Woman stopped herself.

"Alive Here!"

Lee said as quickly as he met the eyes of the Woman, The Woman who had the knife looked at Lee and felt a little relieved, It had been around an hour since she woke up from her sleep, Last night she slept late because of her work.

When she woke up and looked out of her window, All she could witness around her was Death, She was worried about her daughter so she went inside her basement to get all the guns she had and started packing bags with supplies, She wanted it to be quick but the Walkers outside didn't let her leave until just a few minutes ago when a noise started attracting the Walkers.

That's when she heard the doorbell and looked outside through the window in hopes of seeing her daughter but all she could make out of that person was a Walker, Lee's getup was convincing enough after all.

She jumped out from the back window, left the bag outside, and steadily walked towards the door to get her first Walker kill

Lee had put a lot of Walker's blood on him but not the face which helped in calming the woman when she saw his face.

"Do you know Sandra?"

Lee asked as he saw the Gorgeous Woman had calmed herself and took a step back, He didn't wait around and asked her the question.

"How do you know my Daughter?"

The Woman flinched at her Daughter's name and stepped close to Lee, Looking into his eyes in the hope of finding her Daughter.

"Yes, I met her at Clementine's house, She came with me to get you but the Walker number increased there so she went back according to the plan I set for both of us.

She might come back with others"

Lee saw her worry which made her look majestic, Her beauty had a hard effect on him which he recovered from in half a minute.

"Thank god"

She was relieved to know her daughter was safe and stepped back, resting her back on the door.

"Who are you then?"

"I'm Lee, I ran into Clementine and Sandra with my Family, We're planning on leaving the city, Can we go back quickly now, I don't feel good leaving them there"

Lee asked as he turned towards the main gate.

"You want to leave the city? Do you have room for three?"

She asked Lee as she started walking towards the bag she left behind, Her car was at her workplace so she needed a ride to safety and the city was not safe at all.

"We do, Let's go"

Lee said as he opened the gate and started walking towards the house he had left Sandra previously.

"Thanks, My Name's Natasha by the way" 

"Nice to meet you, Natasha"

"So, Why are you covered in blood"

Natasha asked as it was hard to ignore the disgusting smell coming from Lee.

"I did some thinking, The Walkers are attracted to sound and smell, So I put this on and now I can go through them and they won't attack me thinking that I'm one of them unless I make a noise"

"Really? Did you try it out?"

"Yes"

Natasha was surprised at Lee for even trying this but tried to get used to this, They didn't waste time and got to the house which lined up with Clementine's house, As they were about to start climbing the walls a car went towards Clementine's home at a very fast speed.

It was around 5:30 PM, It was starting to get dark here and with that noise the car just made, Walkers started walking towards Clementine's house.

Lee felt the danger for the people at Clementine's house, Lee and Natasha were starting to panic but Lee quickly recovered and opened his bag, He wasn't sure if he would need this but it was a good thing that he brought it with him.

"What do we- Ah, Good"

Natasha was about to ask but stopped midway when she saw Lee holding a Walkie-Talkie in his hand.

"Lee here, You there bud?"

"..."

"Bud? Anybody there?"

"...Lee! It's Sandra! Are you okay? What happened there? There are so many Walkers here, Did you find my mom?"

"Calm down Sandra, One question at a time okay, Your mother is fine and we are heading there right now, Brief me on the situation there first"

Lee tried to calm the scared Sandra while he and Natasha were stressed about the situation there.

"A woman came here with her car while trying to run away from Walkers, She crashed into our wall and the Walkers are getting in-"

Sandra started explaining the situation to them, They could hear gunshots as well which stressed both of them. 

"Give Shawn the Radio"

Lee said quickly when he heard the situation.

"Lee, I'm here"

After just a few seconds Lee heard Shawn's voice on the radio.

"Listen carefully, Take everyone with you and meet me at the highway I told you about, I will try to get there, Just take everyone and go!"

Lee said in a hurried tone, He was genuinely stressed about this situation, He was betting everyone's life on his information and now it was in danger and he wasn't there to help either.

"Natasha, We can't go to Clementine's house, The wall's broken and the crash must've caused a fire, We need to find a car and go from the opposite direction to go for that highway"

Lee said as he handed a knife to Natasha and pointed toward the Road they had to reach, Natasha had a gun but keeping a silent approach was the clever move.

"You sure?"

"Positive"

Lee and Natasha got out of the house and started running in the opposite direction of Clementine's house in the hope of finding a car, Unfortunately, every car was either busted or out of fuel.

"Finding a car would be hard"

"Don't worry, If we don't find a car, We can just jump the wall back there and make our way through the forest, It would be a little risky but it's the only way to get there without putting them in danger on the road"

Natasha didn't like depending on anyone, She had faced all her problems all by herself throughout her life and wasn't used to trusting others' words unless they made absolute sense and sat right with her.

She wasn't sure if she should go where Lee was telling her to go or run towards Clementine's house for her daughter, Though now that she had gone this far, Turning around was useless.

"Lee, We just left the place and are making a detour to draw those things away, It will take us around half-hour to get on the highway"

Suddenly, Lee's brother's voice came from the radio.

"Is everyone safe there?"

Lee asked as he wanted to be sure but also because of Natasha, He could tell that she was worried for her daughter as she kept glancing in the opposite direction.

"Err. No"

"What? Who got bit?"

As soon as Natasha heard the reply, She put her hand on Lee's hand clicked the switch, and asked.

"It was Shawn's friend, Chet.

He tried to save Clementine but got bit in the process"

The explanation relieved Natasha, Although it was a sad thing that someone had died death was everywhere at that moment so knowing your loved one is alive is more Important.

"Alright, We will get there as well, Just stay safe"

"You too"

The conversation ended and they started their hunt for the car again, Lee and Natasha walked on the road while killing an occasional Walker that came their way, Natasha killed her first walker with a Knife with the support provided by Lee, They talked a lot on their journey while watching each other back.

Lee learned that Natasha was a Detective working for the APD (Atlanta Police Department), She had experience with guns as her Job involved working many units like the Homicide Unit, Robbery Unit, Gun Assault Unit, and many more.

During their hunt, Lee and Natasha couldn't find a single car that was in position to start, They had no other choice but to make their way towards the road on foot.

"Let's climb the wall"

Natasha suddenly said to Lee, She could tell that Lee wanted to do that as well but wasn't saying that to avoid putting her in danger.

"You said it yourself, We will be putting them in danger if we don't get there quickly, it's getting dark as well so the sooner we go through that forest the better it is, You up for it"

Natasha continued while giving Lee a choice, Whether he wanted to come with her or go around the road and meet her, She was in the lead at that moment.

"Sure, Let's go"

Lee didn't mind and played along since he also wanted to do this, It was finally time for him to use his skills provided by the System as well.

The interface appeared with the same option he had received when the Apocalypse started, He was in a hurry which is why he did not accept it before, Wasting even 2 minutes could lead to his death, He didn't want that and was looking for an opportunity.

"When we go through the forest, it will mostly take us around 5 Minutes to reach the road, Let's get inside that house and rest for 5 minutes, I've been running for a long time and don't want to go there without being fully prepared"

Lee made an excuse and it worked, She didn't know what Lee had been doing this whole time but seeing how he was willing to put those things gut on him to survive and had been doing this longer than her, She was willing to listen for his instruction.

They entered the house, As they entered it they heard a groan, There was a Walker in the kitchen, Lee took the lead and killed it, As soon as he was done with that, He sat on the sofa in the Hall while Natasha started checking the house for supplies and any danger.

Lee closed his eyes and started his task. 

'Yes'

Lee accepted System's proposal which immediately started working, Lee felt a burning sensation in his body which kept increasing little by little, The sensation turned into pain which also started increasing.

Lee gritted his teeth while bearing the pain and trying his best not to scream, Be it his previous life or Lee's life experience, This was the worst pain he had ever gone through

Those agonizing two minutes felt like 20 minutes to him, He wanted to punch that Demon in the face who sent him into this world till the System's interface appeared before him.
