Chapter 4: Good News

Smith returned from University to the coffee house where he worked in the evenings. He was in charge of the counter.

He walked quietly and sat on the chair.

There were light rain drops on the glass window.

Smith felt like they were tears

He had seen tears in the eyes of two women in his life, one he knew and one a complete stranger to him.

He was lost in the soft sound of the rain

The entire interior of the coffee house was brown in colour and looked a little dated.

There were ancient paintings on the walls.

One painting was clearly "the weeping eyes of a woman with a hand on her cheek."

People who came there used to confess that "there is a peace in this coffee house that they don't find anywhere else".

And all the credit went to Smith.

Today was passing before his eyes. It had been a good day, no doubt.

"Lisa is a good girl. Hope we can be together for a long time."

But despite all this, he felt an unknown burden on his heart.

He stared at the glass window for a few moments and thought, the scene of the whole day was passing before his eyes.

And Lisa's the highlight of our group" Smith Gregg Son has the softest heart and you know what's his greatest quality. He can listen to you for hours without getting tired." Whenever you're sad, call Smith. He'll take your sadness away in minutes. He's the kindest and wisest of us all."

When he remembered the whole thing, the burden of his heart also increased.

Smith felt his head explode from the pain he had never shared his past with.

He remembers some things like dreams. Just a glimpse

Which he could never explain

One thing is clear "a woman's weeping eyes which he is wiping with his small hands".

He doesn't know whether it actually happened or just his imagination.

Keeping his head on the counter, why did he want to cry unknowingly?

When Smith raised his head at the familiar sound.

"Good evening," the old wizard's sharp eyes read him through.

"Good evening to you too" Smith couldn't look her directly in the eye.

"You have cried many times before. If crying calms your mind, go to this corner and cry. Until then, I will take care of the counter." The old man pointed towards a dark corner

He kept his head down

"Nobody's Love Never Completes You"

The old man's voice trembled

"It's not," Smith snapped

He regretted that he always depressed them by being sad.

The raindrops rolled down the entire window. The drops were like tears.

The coffee house was full of people. The waiters were carrying trays and serving coffee

Smith glanced at the window

In the darkened window, the old wizard, wearing a black coat and a black hat with a long peak, was walking sadly.

His move was defeatist.

"I should go," Lisa pleaded with Kathy

"Why what happened?" Izzy asked

"Actually Grandpa has to call me so I want to go to my room."

"Where do you live?" Izzy asked

The rain had stopped now. All the people had come out on the streets, while the three of them had come to a coffee house to drink coffee

"I have a hostel near here" Lisa picked up her purse

"My papa gifted me a house here where Cathy and I live if you want," Izzy offered lovingly.

"I'd be happy if you guys didn't mind" Lisa smiled

"We'd be more than happy to have you," Lisa Cathy held her hand

"I think I'll get shifted now," Izzy said

"Hmmm, give me some time! I'll talk to Grandpa and Jack."

Meanwhile Lisa's phone rang

Lisa is the first to see Grandpa in a quick pick video call

"Grandpa I love you" Lisa's eyes watered

"My daughter! Don't cry, I also miss my daughter very much" grandfather and father were also sad

"How's Jake?" Lisa asked after a while

"Jack, it's all right, look, I've got it."

"How are you Jack?" Lisa saw Jack in the video and said

"I'm sad because of you Lisa" Jack said sad. "You know Lisa it rained all day today and Grandpa and I missed you so much."

Lisa's eyes were wet with love for her brother.

Kathy and Izzy watched the scene with sad smiles.

"Aww Jack and Grandpa look here! These are my two friends. And believe me they are very nice."

Lisa turned the camera to Kathy and Izzy who both waved happily

"I'm happy for you Lisa."

Grandpa liked both of them very well

"How was your day at university?" Jack asked, cracking the walnuts

"Terrifying "

Kathy and Izzy laughed at Lisa's answer

"Why what happened?" Jack and Grandpa are worried

"Hey, don't worry, Grandpa, it actually happened today." Lisa told the whole story of being fooled by the seniors.

Jack and Grandpa laughed a lot.

Jack's eyes filled with tears as he laughed

"I wish I could be there and see that look on your face."

"Just be rude," Lisa pouted

After talking for a few minutes, Grandpa allowed Lisa to stay after talking to Kathy and Izzy.

Soon they had shifted Lisa's belongings into the car

"You know Lisa me and Kathy were never friends we were always like sisters"

"God bless the love"

"Do you guys accept the third sister?" Lisa asked

"Sure" they both took her hand

"We are very happy that we are three sisters now.

"It doesn't happen," Max turned down the volume of the music

Chris put the glass to his lips

"Anyone who hears weird stuff always denies it like you're doing," said Chris, taking a quick sip of his wine.

"I've been reading history myself, I've never heard of that."

"That's right. Some forests eat people. You don't understand." Chris's hand was shaking. Chris had gone to a forest that was far away from the city, a forest surrounded by trees.

"The way you're trying to explain it, no one can understand God's man drinking wine later" Max drew her towards him, patting his hands as he walked towards the wine.

"Yes I was saying there is a forest very big very big there are many animals lions leopards scary snakes and big animals: Chris made a cross with his hands.

May Jesus protect you, it is very difficult to spend the night in this forest without any protection"

"So who is organizing this competition?"

"Mr Hollins & Sons Company, actually this is just for fun" handing me a glass of wine

"And what does one get who spends the night there" Max was curious

"Give me a class of wine first."

"Hmmmmm" Max set the bottle of wine down in front of him as he picked up the song, Chris was very tired but still drinking.

Max patiently watched him drink

And took a look at his wine cellar

The bar was full of people. Max was the DJ here. Once upon a time Max was very fond of music. He used to remix songs very well.

The flamboyant lights in the pub constantly teased newcomers and the intolerable noise of the fence

But with the passage of time, one gets used to it

The bar was packed with people and Max saw many familiar faces of his university fellows and waved from a distance.

Chris placed the empty bottle on the table and got up to leave the stool. Max was talking to the boy in front of him so he didn't see Chris get up.

When he caught sight of Chris, he was stumbling out of the bar drunkenly mumbling something.

Max dropped everything and hurried over to her

"Oh, you answer my question and then go," Max stopped right in front of him angrily

"What question?" He said with sleepy eyes

"Prize" Max asked quizzically

"A million dollars," Chris whispered

Chris was swinging on the dark road humming loudly in a strange language

And Max was standing there completely amazed

"One night and one million dollars?" is this really true"

A few moments later he got a call from Smith

"Smith are you free?" Max spoke quickly

"Yeah almost why?" Smith asked

The coffee house was almost empty

"Can you come over to Izzy's house now I have good news" Max said excitedly.
