Chapter 3: Chapter 2 - Welcome Home
Leah POV
We drove into Beacon Hills but there's a problem.
Leah: Derek's not answering, should I be worried now?
Elena: Let's not panick, I'm sure he's busy.
Leah: Elena Gilbert Hale, we lived in a town that attracted Supernaturals all the time, Beacon Hills is the same.
Elena: Alright I get it, maybe it's time to panick.
Leah: Right, how are the little ones?
Elena looked back to smile at all three sleeping.
Elena: There good, so where to first?
Leah: To a house that I had rebuilt years ago just in case of emergencies, you might wanna go grocery shopping.
Elena: Alright but what about you?
Leah: I'm gonna track down my brother.
We arrived at the house as I carried two and Elena carried one as I opened the door to the house as I look to see the place looks good.
Elena: Nice place.
Leah: Thanks, I'll take the kids to there rooms which is big really.
I walked upstairs as I may have came back to Beacon Hills a few times, I listen through the grape vine that no hunters including the Argents have come across vampires or witches, only our breed of werewolves so that's good.
I walked downstairs to see Elena.
Elena: You go track down Derek, I'll stay with the kids.
Leah: I'll be back soon.
I kissed her to grab my helmet to roll my bike off the rack of the back of the Truck to start it up to put my helmet on to ride off to the once place I haven't seen in years, the hale house.
I rode through the woods to pull up as the house still looks condemned, I listen for a heart beat but got nothing.
Leah: Where are you Derek?
There's one person I can ask as I rode off for the animal hospital to see a emissary.
I hopped off my bike to head in to see Deaton.
Leah: Deaton.
Deaton: Leah, well this is a surprise.
Leah: Yeah, Derek came to get me the other day so I came home.
Deaton: Well I haven't seen him.
Leah: Oh my god, is this what mom went through?
Deaton: Your mother had the patience of a saint really.
Leah: I know, us as teenagers was probably not easy, well I'll see you later Deaton.
Deaton: Leah.
I turned around to look at Deaton.
Deaton: Your mother would be proud of the woman your becoming.
I smiled at that to leave the Clinic.
